The Job Board

After logging in, Ulric checked his stats, he wanted to see how much his armor had improved his stats, but when he checked his stats were all still at 30, confused he checked his unlocked abilities and equipment and there it was Leather Armor (costume), wait costume? did that mean that this stuff only made him look different? he was about to log out and check when he got a private message from Harvey,

"hey are you in Drybranch?, i am here but can't find you, meet me at the inn,"

He headed downstairs and met up with Harvey, after explaining about the private room he asked about how to get more quests and how did normal players raise their stats, Harvey led him outside and pointed at a board by the door, 'Jobs' was labeled at the top, they laughed as they headed down a side-street leading to a large outdoor gym,

"this is how most build their stats, they train here and build stats this way, normally it takes about an hour to improve, unless you fail, that doesn't happen a lot there are other ways but except for the newest one they are dangerous,"

He sent a private message "be careful putting stuff in the trade post, many people are looking for you, if they find you they could force you to make stuff for them, and only them" Ulric didn't respond but he understood.

Harvey sighed, "well i gotta go, need to do some healing for a group in another kingdom, a was in the city when i saw you were here so i took the transport to get here,"

Ulric was surprised, "transport?"

Harvey laughed and led him to the town entrance showing him a small stand with a man sat behind it, on the front of the stand was a picture of a wheel, after that he said goodbye and used a crystal and vanished.

He was tempted to take the transport but had no real reason to return to the city, so he headed to the job board, there were a few kill quests, a fetch quest, and some other stuff about investigations but nothing too interesting.

Ulric picked the hunting quests and a fetch quest since it needed a toad gland, and he headed out.

It didn't take him long to complete the quests, collect the gland, and a few sets of ingredients and head back and hand in these quests.

After collecting the quest rewards which were mostly a few gold he logged out, it was getting a bit late and he was tired, he'd work out how to level up tomorrow.

He spent the rest of the evening just enjoying some entertainment and walking around, after having a bite to eat he headed for bed.
