Allies

While Slick was meeting with his family Ulric was also holding a get together in the new conference room he added the the café portion of his residence, Silvia, Maybel, Don and Harvey and his small guild were there, they all signed the paper's in front of them and Ulric collected them,

"Sorry about the sudden contract but I need to protect myself, at least for now," Ulric apologized, they were a little shocked but didn't mind too much, "now that you have all signed I have some stuff to tell you....."

Ulric left them to digest the bombshell he had dropped on them, he intended to expand his chain of cafes and have each of them run one except for the guild Harvey was apart of, they were already employed as security even though they were clerics if everything went to plan they would be backup for the main security, but he still had to wait for them to make the first move.

He now had all the people he trusted under his employ where he could protect them and they could protect him, Don came out and walked up to him,

"You know you'll be giving them a lot more than they'll be giving you right?" he handed Ulric a sealed white envelope with gold trim,

"Yeah but that's ok, it'll let me open a full café earlier in Elswind, and I can focus on opening a full one in Pyrond then, I am running out of time for that I need it done,"

Don smiled, "Well as Legend Lunch's official Lawmaster I'll make that happen, leave it to me," he clapped Ulric on the shoulder and left through the main doors, after all it was considered rude to teleport from someone's residence.

Ulric shifted into a teenager form with short hair, skinny body, and a face for mischief as one customer commented, then he headed out to check on the café and help out.

The dining room was packed as usual but seemed under control, and over at the bar Orst was having a serious talk with the four guild leaders who seemed enthralled, the cunning elf wound them round his little finger, talking about how nice the place was and how their weaker guild members were greatly benefitting from the food, ect. he threw Ulric a quick wink before continuing.

Aika was talking to the high level customers who came mainly for the taste as the boost was too weak to help them, her dazzling smile and sad story won them over and her tale of the cleaver rescue by the owner made them serious offering comforting words to her.

Lee was out the back leaving some food out for Singan who had finally found the place and came every day for food, his name was now green to Ulric who normally fed him personally but had Lee do it today as he had to meet with his friends.

After a while as he was mingling and talking with customers after doing some cooking one customer passed him a letter saying he had been asked to pass it along, upon opening it he noted the seal of the Platinum Paladins, it politely asked for a meeting and the letter was his introduction, perfect.
