Acquaintances

After the realtors Ulric was a little deflated, he now had 2 massive money sinks, the home was definitely the biggest though, he needed more avenues of income, but with his weak combat skills he couldn't learn more advanced recipes, he couldn't join a guild so borrowing from them was out, not that he would, the idea of taking out a loan wasn't something he would do willingly, out of ideas he messaged Harvey telling him about his trouble.

After a few minutes he received a reply,

"LOL Ulric you have to take things with a grain of salt if you hear them from NPC's or HNPC's, the reason that is so expensive is the Time Cab, that type of storage is high level stuff, take the Cab out for now, sure you'll have to spend time in the house cooking up everything your hunters bring, but it'll make affording the Time Cab much easier, you can place the door anywhere in a city limits, so pick somewhere out of the way so you can avoid being found. good luck."

It seemed obvious now, of course something like that storage would be expensive, he took out the token and opened it's menu and yes there were options to alter it, he removed the Time Cab and pressed the estimate button, the price dropped like a stone to 40 million and that's when he noticed in the price breakdown was 'Realtor commission' Ulric shook his head he was too trusting, that realtor was trying to fleece him of money to get a big commission, uh-uh no way, he deleted the token, and headed to Weltall, maybe the realtor here would be more honest.

This guy was a small man, his hair was a greased slick, his eyes looked at people as if he was trying to see how much money were in their pockets, and he literally simpered up to Ulric, after a few minutes he had tried to sell Ulric EVERYTHING, repeatedly, Ulric suspected this guy would sell his wife, kids, parents, and grandmother if he could, as Ulric left the man disappointed he could only think of one word for the man, Oily.

He then went to Pyrond, he didn't hold much hope but he did need the EDH (Extra Dimensional Home), Pyrond was different the realtor's office was smaller and less well furnished, inside were two women, they were having a conversation and although he couldn't hear them, the way they moved, the gestures they made and the way one dominated the conversation was familiar, he had only seen them for a short time but he was sure it was them, he sent a DM to Harvey and asked if they were who he believed, after telling Harvey where he was and describing them he confirmed they were who he thought.

He pushed the door open and entered,

"Welcome sir, how may we help you today?," the serious one spoke up,

"My name is Ulric, what are your names?"he asked,

"Silvia," the serious one nodded, "Maybel," the passive one blushed,

"Well ladies i am after a dwelling for my 7 servants, with training and housing facilities, can you provide?" he asked,

"Of course we can sir, do you require other things for the dwelling, storage, extra rooms, luxuries?" Maybel asked,

"no thank you,"

Silvia nodded and priced up, "that'll be 40 million in total sir, would you like to pay upfront or would you prefer a pay token?"

"Hmm, your not gonna try and sell me more?" he asked,

"No sir, customer first, commission second," they spoke in unison,

"Really? the other realtors tried to sell me tons of stuff,"

"Pardon my language sir but the other Realtors are greedy twats, we may not be as rich, but we can sleep at night," Silvia said her fists clenching,

"I don't mean to be rude but are your names in real life Sarah and Anita?" he ventured,

confused they asked "yes, do you know us? do we know you?"

Ulric told them how they knew him and they spent some time talking about what had happened to him, he kept many things secret but added them to his friend list with Harvey, he left with the pay taken and the girls were happy as they made a sale, due to being honest they were not rich like the other realtors, but they had integrity which Ulric was impressed by.
