"Because now we're engaged!"

Lala beamed with a smile.When I saw her smile, I knew I had to say something.

"Lala, even though we're engaged, and I do like you a lot, I can't say that I love you yet"

I admitted honestly.

She said, her voice soft. Lala seemed like she wanted to say more, but I gently interrupted her.

"But from now on, we'll be living together, and I'm sure I'll fall for you. So please, just give me some time and wait for me"

I bought her some takoyaki, and we headed home.

I said while Lala continued to eat.

After that, We arrived at home.

"Go ahead and arrange your things in your room. I'll start cooking dinner"

I said.

"Yes!"

She replied enthusiastically.

We had dinner together, and just as I was cleaning up, Lala approached me with a towel in her hand.

"Luca~ Since we've had dinner together, let's take a bath together!"

She suggested, her eyes sparkling with innocence.

"Huh?"

I was a bit taken aback by her suggestion—it sounded strange.

"Please don't show your body or let anyone touch you except your family or your future husband, okay?"

I said gently, rubbing my temples.

I really need to get her some books to help her understand more about our customs.

She replied, her tone proud but sincere.

"I won't hate you that easily, Lala. If you're ever unsure about something, just talk to me first, and we'll figure it out together"
