"My full name is Lala Satalin Deviluke"

She announced, her voice carrying a regal tone.

"I'm the first princess of the planet Deviluke"

"Oh!"

I responded, a bit taken aback.

"And that's not all"

Peke added, her robotic voice seems serious.

"Lala-sama's father isn't just the king of Deviluke. He's the emperor of the entire Milky Way Galaxy!"

Damn, so she's a big shot, huh?

"Then the reason you ran away... was to avoid getting married?"

I asked, trying to piece everything together.

"As the first princess and the presumed successor to the throne of Deviluke, it's expected that I marry so my spouse and I can rule together"

Lala explained, her expression turning somber.

"Papa kept presenting me with suitors, but I turned all of them down. Eventually, I couldn't take it anymore, so I escaped"

"But some men chased me, and out of panic, I warped to Earth, hoping to find some freedom"

She continued. Wow, this sounds like a plot straight out of one of those princess novels I used to read when I was younger.

"Then we can get married!"

Lala suddenly suggested, a bright smile on her face.

"Lala-sama, are you certain you want to marry this Earthling?"

Peke asked, clearly concerned.

"Don't worry about it, Peke. Just let me do what I want"

Lala replied confidently.

Wait, what about my opinion?

"No, Lala, don't do that"

I said, gently tapping her forehead with my index finger.

"I'll help you out, so don't force yourself, okay?"

It's one thing if she actually loves me, but that's not the case here—though she does seem to like me.

"It's okay. You can stay here. I'll protect you"

I assured her.

"But you'll be chased by my father's people and my suitors"

She warned, worry creeping into her voice.

"Then I'll beat them all"

I said, softly patting her head to reassure her.

"So don't worry"

She touched her head where I patted her, looking a little dazed.

Well, if I end up fighting strong aliens, I might get stronger quickly.

"Um... sorry"

Lala said, guilt evident in her eyes. She must feel bad for dragging me into this.

"It's okay"

I said, giving her a reassuring smile.

— Spaceship —

"Is it really true that an Earthling defeated Ane-ue's bodyguards?"

Nana Astar Deviluke, the second princess of Deviluke, asked with curiosity.

"Nana, let me speak first"

Her father, Gid, said firmly.

"Sorry, Chichi-ue"

Nana apologized, falling silent.

"Yes, it's true, Gid-sama. Lala-sama also seems to have taken an interest in this Earthling"

Zastin, the commander of Deviluke, reported to the emperor.

"Interesting. Go test this boy and broadcast it live for me to watch"

Gid ordered, his interest piqued.

"Um, can we watch too, Otou-sama?"

Momo, the third princess of Deviluke, asked with excitement.

"Very well"

Gid agreed after a moment's thought.

With that, the hologram communication ended.

"Looks like I'm heading to that Earthling's house"

Zastin decided, setting out to meet the mysterious boy who had captured the princess's attention.
