Chains? Yo, why is Mikoto looking at me like that?

When I woke up, I did my morning workout, ate some breakfast, and decided to meet Kushina since I wanted to access my chains; they were a huge help when dealing with people stronger than me.

< In Mindscape >

When I came inside, I saw the tired Kuruma and Kushina, who looked like she had just snorted a ton of grams of cocaine at once.

Kuruma mentally communicated with me: 'Oh Master, she spoke nonstop all night. She asked me so many questions, and she even asked me what color your underwear was. I noticed her obsession started when she was about to disappear, so I supplied her with my Chakra to make her stay. Please help me. I can't handle this obsessed lady.'

Kushina suddenly hugged naruto; when she was hugging him, he noticed a peculiar gold color strand in her chakra system that slowly moved through her body, mainly around her brain.

Naruto was surprised at first since he didn't know what it was, so he looked at Kuruma and noticed the identical gold strands in his Chakra, and they were moving to Kushina slowly.

Naruto: What are those gold strands in both Kuruma and Kushina? The red ones are Kuruma's Chakra, and blue is probably normal Chakra. If it's green, I can guess it would be a nature chakra. What is gold?

Naruto told Kushina to wait and sat down and meditated. He is trying to see if he also has it. Suddenly he saw … thin gold strands traveling from his body to Kuruma and Kushina. He tried moving them around, which seemed to work. He tried moving them out of his body, but it didn't respond. No matter how many tries he did, they didn't move an inch. So he did try to move them through the channels connected to Kuruma; suddenly, he could control the strands in Kuruma. He could even control those strands to control his body, and he can even use the strands to suck up all Kuruma's Chakra and kill him; I mean truly Kill him as in swallowing his soul.

He realized the color of the loyalty gem was also gold, and Kuruma told me Kushina started behaving strangely, and she revied his Chakra, which contained the gold strands. It clicked; now I understand what happened.

Since that gem was probably made for humans, using it on a Chakra-based entity caused a glitch. Of course, Kuruma hasn't even noticed it, so I think only I could notice since the gem was registered as my name. I can't bring out the gold strands from my experiments, but I can use Kuruma's Chakra. I need to experiment more on this went after I graduate; I can't do it now since sensors probably monitor me and can catch me. Even though others cant sense the gold strands, I will name them GS…they can sense Kuruma's Chakra if I bring it out.

I will figure it out later since I have Time. But first, let's check on Kushina.

Naruto: "Kushina, calm down."

Kusina calmed down.

"What do you think of me," Naruto asked. Since he wanted to confirm his theory.

Kushina replied, "Well, Naruto, you are the most precious person in the world, and finally, I think of you as my lovely son who faced many difficulties and currently deeply needs a mother to support him."

Naruto expected as much, so he asked a different question.

"What do you think about the village? Would you mind if I leave it? Or if I… destroy it?

Kushina's expression didn't change. She smiled and said

"Well, Naruto, I would support you no matter what, and I think the village doesn't deserve you. Even though Minato loved the village, I love you more than the village, so I would help you destroy the village."

Naruto: Okay, the much more challenging question now.

"What do you think of Minato? I don't like him, and I wouldn't care even if he got hurt or died again."

I was prepared. If Kushina even showed a little bit of hesitation, I would tell Kuruma to consume her. Though her knowledge of seals will be lost, I am going to Uzushiogakure to investigate when I go on the Wave mission.

Kushina replied without hesitation, "That bastard Minato cared more about the village than his son. He could have sealed the entire Kuruma in him and died, but he did not want the village's power to decrease. If I saw him again, I would punch him in the face and leave him. Why are you asking these questions, Naruto-kun?."

I said I wanted to know her more and asked many questions, and finally, my observation was.

She didn't even notice or question her strange behavior. Her general behavior didn't change much, but she now ultimately only cares about me. Its looks like it has different effects on different people. Kuruma turned into a loyal subordinate, and Kushina turned into an obsessed mother. So I need to be careful when I use it on others.

I asked her how I could access my chains, and she told me she could do it for me. She then used her chains to tie me and told me to feel how she was blocking my Chakra and told me to remember that feeling and try to sense where the Chakra was stopping it should behind the lower end of the back. Then try to concentrate on bringing out the chains. It should feel like pulling an arm from water. Finally, she told me to use it on her, and it should be an instinct for a talented person.

So I did what she told me. I closed my eyes and concentrated behind my back. Suddenly I was pulled into an empty space, I looked around and yelled, but nothing was there. I sensed something was coming from the ground; when I looked at it, I was surprised to see a gold color chains; there were numerous of them that were sucking everything around them. The chains slowly started coming towards me, and they warped over my lower half and went behind. I couldn't move my body, but I could feel my lower back sucking everything. Then I was brought back to my Mindscape.

Kushina replied: "Wow, you have beautiful sealing chains."

When I opened my eyes, she noticed that the chains popped out of my back.

She tried to touch them, and when she touched them, I felt I was absorbing her, and she was slowly becoming transparent by the time she knew she was about to disappear. I pulled back my chains and felt my chakra reserve increase.

I knew now that my chains could absorb chakra and redirect them anywhere. I really wanted to go out and absorb as much Chakra as I could, but I stopped myself. I need to be patient; my time will come soon.

She returned to normal after Kuruma helped her. Kurama told me he permanently lost some chakra; it wasn't much he could barely notice for him. So I know that I can't use him as a battery since he is essential, and the Chakra I absorb doesn't regen for him.

[A/N: People who get mad that I didn't absorb Chakra, I will tell you the reason:

MC doesn't want a loyal person to go to waste. He can find other tailed beasts to absorb.

Kuruma is a walking battery for him since he can always borrow power from Kuruam, and Kurama should regen the borrowed energy instantly.

Next, MC can't manipulate the gold strands outside his body other than using with Kuruma's Chakra. ]

After I had talked with Kushina for some time, I left.

< Outside Mindscape >

Naruto opened my eyes and then took a shower. After that, he got ready to go to the Hokage's office for his reward. Naruto already learned Shadow Clone and Multi-Shadow clone Jutsu from Minato and Kushina, but he needs to have an excuse when people find out about his shadow clone.

Naruto: "Mikoto, I am going outside. Do you need anything?"

Mikoto replied: "Nothing; the Anbu always delivers the essentials, so I don't need anything. Take care"

I made my way to the Hokage residence. When I arrived, I told the lady at the desk that I needed to meet with the Hokage. Blah blah blah, you know the process.

When I went in, I saw Hokage was, as always, busy dealing with his worst enemy. Paperwork.

Hokage: "Oh, hello Naruto, congrats for getting rank one. I was planning to give you shadow clone Jutsu end of the year, but since you did fabulous on your exams, I will give it now… Hm….here"

Naruto: Nice! "Woah, thanks, Jiji. Can you also give me some advanced medical books since I have already finished the basic ones and even learned the Healing Jutsu?"

(Healing Jutsu is a lesser version of Mystical Palms )

Hokage was surprised even his pipe fell. He knew how difficult is chakra control for a Jinchuriki.

Hokage: I didn't recognize how genius you are. Good, you will be a good seeding for Konoha and me. The medical books are probably to help Mikoto.

"Very good, Naruto. I always believed you are a genius. Like your father, you must protect the village. The Will of Fire…." Then he went on and about Will of fire.

< One Eternity Later >

"… You must be a strong Shinobi and inspire everyone, and *chuckle* you can take off my hat when you grow up. I heard what happened to Mikoto, and I know she moved in with you. I am sorry for what happened."

I acted by curling my hands firmly when he said that and showed a painful expression.

Naruto: Let's see if you have any role in it.

"I know, Jiji, I feel sad. I never had a mother, so I always regarded her as one. But, once I go on a mission, I will remove some bandit's eyes and transplant them since the Uchiha never said she could have a new one."

Hokage showed a warm smile: "Sorry, Naruto, I didn't intend any of it, nor could I assist her since it was a clan's decision. But, don't worry; I will support you by sending medical books to study if the clan causes you any problems because of your new eyes. I will contain them for you; at least I could do to a person I feel as my grandchild."

Naruto, concentrating on sensing his emotions, caught many lies. He was interested in it when he said, " I didn't plan any of it." Which was a lie.

Naruto: I see, so you did scheme against me. I was going to save you in the Chunin exam since you still had your uses, but now you are too dangerous. I never thought you were worse than Danzo. So I will make you suffer, and I will use your death to increase my publicity.

" Okay, Jiji, Since I am ranked one, I want to choose my personal instructor. His name should be Maito Gai ( or Might Guy). I am weak in Taijutsu now, so I heard he is the best Taijutsu user."

Hokage: "Okay, I will let him know and tell him to meet you at 8:00 in the morning at training ground 52. You don't need to attend classes since you are ranked one. Even if you couldn't, and knowing you, you would send a shadow clone to the academy. Hahaha"

I left after thanking him. Then, I went back home and returned to my Mindscape.

< In the Mindscape >

I summoned 500 clones and divided them into five groups when I arrived.

Kuruma is powering one clone per group to watch and replace new clones every two hours.

1st group went to Kushina to learn seals and practice.

2nd group was invited into two. One is to control my chains properly, and the other is to come up with new ways of using them

3rd group was divided into two. One practiced Chakra transformation, and the other practiced Genjsutsu; since this is my main tramp card. ( I don't know why other fanfics MCs ignore this. Illusions are OP)

4th group Sneak, Taijutsu, throwing weapons, weapon handling.. etc. Ninja stuff.

5th is learning the medical Jutsu books, which are in the Inventory.

At the end of the day, a new cycle will start.

The next day he met Gai. He was happy when Gai said he had seen Naruto many times when he was training, and he will be delighted to teach such a YOUTHFUL student.

He taught Hinata The Shadow Clone Jutsu so that she could practice with him.

This cycle went on until the end of 2nd year of the academy, which is very important to Naruto.
