Ch 28 - Politics (3)

*BANG*

Just before sentencing Sun's death the door to the main hall flung open.

Julia appeared at the entrance of the of the door and was brought to a unique scene.

A young boy was half dead and bleeding out of his side while this dark substance was glowing out of his eyes.

And in front of his was her receptionist Sun who looked so pale that she might have seen a ghost.

"Julia! Help this deranged kid is going to kill me!" Sun cried out.

Julia paused unknowing what to do. One the one hand her coworker and friend could die. While on the other the boy who made it so that she could become mayor looked furious. Not to mention he somehow killed the previous mayor who was a Star mage 2. There was nothing she could do.

"Noah, please calm down," Julia tried to plead.

Canceling the magic around me I responded, "Finally! If only this dumb ass had called you like I asked none of this would have happened."

Confused Julia asked, "nobody called me what do you mean?"

"Exactly! Apparently you didn't inform anyone about me. It's quite disrespectful being that you are only here because of me," I say with a tone.

"Oh." Was all she said in response.

"You seem hurt why don't we all calm down and we can get someone to help you," Julia continued.

"That would be great but there's one small problem," I said.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Well, I said I would kill your receptionist and she happens to still be breathing," I said as if it was an impossible problem.

"There's no need for that. This was all my fault for not informing my staff I'll take full responsibility," Julia replied.

Sun who was still terrified yet feeling better with Julia being there took a step backwards.

"No. You stay." I commanded.

Scared Sun didn't dare to move.

"Noah please you don't need to harm her just take a deep breath and forget about it," Julia begged.

"Forget about it?" I said as if it was the stupidest question I've ever been asked.

"Look at me," I said pointing my side where blood continued to flow out and by now you could see a rib sticking out.

"That's why you need to calm down we will get a healer to take care of you. I'm surprised you haven't passed out my now. You just need to come with me and everything will turn out fine," Julia said.

"How good is the healer?" I asked curiously.

"He's good but a bit crazy," Julia replied honestly.

"Can he heal what happened to me?" I questioned.

"With around three days time I'm sure he can made you as good as new!" Julia said thinking that I would be letting Sun free.

"Can he heal someone cut in half?" I once again wanted to find out.

"Uh, if it's horizontal and below the lungs then if a miracle happens it might be possible," Julia said although confused as to why I asked.

"Now that you understand how good he is let's go meet him now. I will take care of what happened and make sure nothing like this takes place again," She finished.

"Great then vertical it is!" I said smiling.

*Snap*

By snapping my fingers I sent out a wind blade that exploded out and cut Sun right down the middle.

"Better make sure… that healer of your sounds pretty good," I joke.

*Snap*

*Snap*

*Snap*

Sun was cut in pieces.

The first one killed her on the spot by bisecting her.

From the top of her head down to her private it was a clean cut.

Both sides of her brain could be seen along with all her insides which were now outside.

The extra blades cut her up even more.

Her legs and arms were attached to the two halves of her body but now it was a different story.

Her arms and legs were cut in half then in half again. While the rest of her body was just a complete mess.

Guts were everywhere and the blood was in a bigger puddle than she could have formed with her water magic.

Satisfied I said, "Now this definitely won't happen again."

Julia just looked at the remains of her friend emotionless.

"This is the second time I've seen that look. You should get used to it," I say without empathy.

"Oh and if you didn't know by now you're going to need new staff at the jail," I said as simple as if I forgot to eat breakfast.

Finally looking up Julia asked, "what do you mean?"

"Let's go see that healer that you were talking about!" I say changing the subject.

Thanks to the torture I went through at the village not only did I no longer feel the pain from to wound but it also begun to heal.

Not that the wound was closing or my lost ribs and flesh magically grew back but the blood loss would end. This would change me from being in critical condition to fucked up.

Julia seemed confused as to what I was talking about but dropped it most likely because of the amount of trauma she had gone through.

"Follow me," she said quietly.

Taking my first step forward without my body functioning on anger I collapsed.

Even though I didn't feel anything and my body had started its healing process it didn't mean I was all good.

The blood I had lost was too much and without being blind with anger I couldn't keep myself up.

"Shit," I mumbled on the ground.

Luckily I hadn't lost consciousness but I couldn't move a hair.

"Want to call the healer to come to me?" I asked embarrassed.

Julia didn't respond for a while so I was starting to wonder if she would just leave me here but eventually I heard her sigh.

"I'll be back," was all she said before turning around to leave.
