Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

Landing on Ord Mantell

~~~(POV: Nathan Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Exiting Hyperspace, Ord Mantell)~~~

The console beeps rapidly, notifying me that my destination of Ord Mantell is approaching. It's been two days in Hyperspace, and I'm looking forward to walking on some ground for a change. More of my memories from my past life has been revealed to me. The most important is information about this era in Star Wars history.

I've learned that several places hold keys to The Star Cabal, and Ord Mantell is only one of them. By key, I mean clue to where they are and who they are. I know they have a base of operations, but I can't remember where. I'm sure it'll be revealed to me in time, but that doesn't mean they're always going to be there in the first place.

From what I remember, The Star Cabal has operatives and members all across the galaxy. "Exiting Hyperspace. Designation, Ord Mantell. Status, Civil War." The Navigation computer talks, and I stand up as the blue hue of Hyperspace stops and a green and blue planet appears. It looks similar to Earth from my old life.

I take a seat in the pilot's chair as my ship is brought down using the autopilot. Breaking through the atmosphere causes a slight rumble, but nothing I haven't experienced before. My ship lands on a landing pad located at the Fort Garnik Spaceport. "Warning: Unauthorized Landing in Military Zone." I shut off the computer before it could say anything else.

I stand up and make my way to the back of my ship, and the hatch lowers. Walking down the ramp, I can feel hostile Republic Soldiers approaching. I know that I'm the first to arrive. Satele and Theron won't be here until tomorrow. "Hold it right there! You don't have clearance to land here!" A squad of Republic Soldiers approaches me with their weapons drawn.

They either don't know who I am, or they're stupid. "You're under arrest for violating Military Regulation E7-233! A civilian is not allowed access to Military landing zones or outposts!!" Two from the group moves forward with blasters at the orders of the squad leader. Without moving a finger, the two approaching men are lifted from the ground and pinned to the ceiling.

This causes the squad leader to start firing his blaster, and others follow suit. All the blaster bolts are being stopped midair halfway to me. Force Stasis comes in handy more than any other power I've used. "Lieutenant! This obviously isn't working!! Did you clear his identity before bringing us here?" Now that was a rookie mistake.

Air command never got in contact with me, which is something I found off. "Your foolish arrogance has led to a situation you won't easily get out of." As I finish speaking, all their blasters are ripped from their hands and crushed into balls of metal. In the next second, I lift them all and pin them to the ceiling too. The blaster bolts suspended midair dissipates at a motion of my hand.

I walk forward, bring the squad leader from the ceiling, and have him floating in front of me. "My name is Nathan Opal, and this has been an interesting welcome. Grandmaster Satele should've informed people of my arrival. Surely you knew of this?" His face goes pale. Seems he's realized the grave error of his mistakes.

I'm not going to kill them. They're not threats, just idiots. And idiots like these can't be threats. It's probably why they're on guard duty and not in actual combat. "I'm sorry! I'm So Kriffing sorry!! If I had known, I wouldn't have acted so rashly!!" Some people never learn, but that's no consequence to me. It's why I work alone... For the most part.

I drop them all, and they come crashing down on each other. Letting out groans of pain and discomfort. They aren't mortally injured, but some have suffered some broken bones. "Get out of here before I change my mind, and when Satele gets here, tell her I'll be waiting for her in the cantina." The Lieutenant nods his head, and the squad limps out of the chamber.

Getting in the war between The Empire and The Republic isn't what I intended to do. But that was before I gained my memories. I need to give it some thought. Should I stay out of the war or help the Republic? Whatever I decide, it'll be my choice. Not driven by my anger or revenge.
