Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

First to Arrive

~~~(POV: Nathan Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Fort Garnik Cantina, Ord Mantell)~~~

The day and night have passed quickly, and I'm enjoying the solitude of my room here. Satele and Theron should be arriving soon, and that'll mark the beginning of a meeting where Satele isn't going to be in my way. She's here to help me find information about The Star Cabal. Theron will be a great help with his skills and connections.

I lean up from my bed and roll my neck, releasing some of the stress I've been holding in with the action. My Holo-communicator beeps, and I take it off my waist, and as I do. I feel Satele enter the Ord Mantell system from hyperspace. She appears and has her hands behind her back. "Where are you located?" She's cutting right to the chase.

She waits for my response, and I take a shallow breath and squint my eyes slightly. "I'm in Fort Garnik's Cantina. I'm waiting for you here, and when you get here, we'll wait for Theron." She nods her head a single time and turns off the Holo-call. I can sense conflict within her, and it's about Theron. I don't think Theron is bad, but her feelings might be an overreaction.

She blames herself greatly for what's happened to Theron. It's normal for a mother to think that. Even a Jedi one. I stand up from my bed, making my way towards the door and leaving towards the bar. I take a seat in my usual spot, and the air in the room shifts. People know who I am, and they're walking on glass because of it.

Most of the people in Fort Garniks Cantina are Soldiers, Smugglers, and Rebels. The bartender comes up to me and pours a glass of water. Not asking for payment or bothering me further. I sense trouble coming, and it walks through the entrance of the Cantina. "Well, there he is." I want a day without someone confronting me.

I turn to see who it is, but the person The Force has warned me about isn't coming towards me. The man in the tough armor is heading for a Human male in the corner. Why would The Force warn me about this person? "Gael! You didn't think you could get away from me forever, did you?!" Sounds like a disgruntled employee. Common given this is Star Wars.

Yesterday I didn't get to see the end of a fight, but this time there won't be any interruption. "You didn't think you could come here and claim The Black Suns Bounty on Nathan Opal after all the work I put into tracking him down without me?!!" Ahh... That's why I got the warning from The Force. Gael, the one getting yelled at, stands up in a fury.

He probably changed his mind once he saw me yesterday cause I didn't sense any threats. "You idiot, Jeaaso! He's right over there!! I gave up, and now he knows!!" Jeaaso turns and sees me at the bar. My hood up and watching patiently. I watch the fear set in and the storm of emotion coming from both of them. They both slowly reach for their blasters.

I raise my right hand, and my lightsaber flies into it, and everyone clears out of the Cantina, and I'm left with only these two, but I sense Satele making her approach. "You've killed us both, Jeaaso... Now you won't be able to see your little girl grow up, and I won't be able to see mine..." The old me wouldn't care, but that was before I got my memories back.

Before anyone can say or do anything, Satele walks into the Cantina and sees what's going on. She looks towards me and sees my lightsaber in my hand, and the other two men have their hands on their blasters. "Get out of here. You're both lucky I arrived when I did." They waste no time and leave, and she looks at me. I lift my hood off my head and put my lightsaber back.

She walks over to me and doesn't really know what to do. "Take a seat. It's not like you'll be getting drunk." A Jedi doesn't know how to act in such places, but she takes a seat. "I take it Theron should be here soon?" She nods her head, and I can feel her pain. Jedi and their emotions are a major fault with them, if only they knew there was more to it than forbidding it all...
