Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

Ancient Temple of Lothal I

{If you want to read ahead go to my https://www.(p)-(a)-(t)-(r)-(e)-(o)-(n).com/easyread}

~~~(POV: Nathen Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Outside Ancient Jedi Temple, Lothal)~~~

"I've never seen a Jedi Temple this big. Not even the one on Coruscant can compare to this. How long has this been here?"

Nella steps forward as she talks. Turning her head up to see the true size of the temple. The spires of the temple reach into the sky. It's a dirty marble color. It's not made of marble, but it has the color. The sand is slowly falling off still.

There is a long stone staircase that leads to the entrance. I start walking forward and pass Nella. She follows behind me, and SCORPIO behind her.

"There is trouble coming from inside. I can sense it. I don't know what's inside, but I know for sure they're not going to be civil. Their bloodlust and hunger are clear. Creatures that have been trapped down there for time immemorial."

It doesn't take us long to reach the top of the stairs. There is a long stone pathway that leads to the entrance of the temple. There are multiple large broken statues that line the path there. Unlike the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, there are no statues at the door.

"I get a weird feeling from this place. Like The Force flows through it, but it's mixed between light and dark."

My Apprentice has a keen sense. Her high potential in The Force is showing. I sense the same thing. This place is balanced between light and dark, which is rare.

"You're right in that. The Force is balanced here."

We make it to the massive door, and I hold out my hand as I move them. There are large creaks and stones falling from the old ceiling at the ancient movement of the doors.

Light floods inside from the entrance. There are deep growls as creatures fade from the light. Being trapped down here for so long means, everything would be blind. My lightsaber flies into my hand, and Nella grabs hers from her belt.

The Yellow glow of mine lights the path as we go deeper and away from the light of the entrance. Nella's Blue lightsaber is helping light up the area.

"I'm getting heat signatures ahead. Whatever's down here, some of them are here."

I'm sensing what she's describing. Soon, there are monsters that are long and run on four legs attacking us. I've never seen them in the Star Wars games or comics. They've got jagged teeth and red glowing eyes. It's like they're a twisted version of giant lizards.

My lightsaber is easily cutting through them, and Nella is handling herself well. I'm having to help here and there. SCORPIO is using her talents in killing to their potential.

"Why are there so many!?"

Nella is right. There are way more than there should be down here.

"Just keep cutting through them. They'll stop eventually."

My lightsaber is cutting them in half and cutting their limbs off. I spread out my senses, and I grab all of them in The Force. All fighting stops as I crush the creatures. Sickening sounds are given at the action.

The monsters are dead, but I feel more ahead.

All of a sudden, all the sound is taken from the world. And I hear something that I know I've heard before.

"Over here..."

The voice is feminine, and it's familiar to me. It's not Abeloths. It's not my mom from Earth. It's not Lillis. But I know I've heard it. I start walking in the direction I heard the voice, and I use my lightsaber to light the way.

"Follow my voice..."

Again, it reaches my ears. My heart is racing for some reason. I don't know why.

"Beloved Prince of The Stars... It's almost time..."

I blink, and I'm no longer in the darkened halls of the ancient temple. Now, there is light and people walking around. Jedi. Windows are letting the light in and the sounds of people talking. But they're muffled.

"Keep going..."

Her voice echoes through the halls and in me. But no one else hears it. I reach out to touch someone, but I go through them. It's a recording in The Force.

The path ahead is clear, and I follow it. I eventually reach a heavily guarded area. One with Sentinals in every corner. A strange, yet familiar doorway is at the back of the room.

"You're almost there..."

I look behind me, and I don't see Nella or SCORPIO. I stretch out my senses, and they're not anywhere near me. They're not here at all.
