Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

An Overwhelming Power

~~~(POV: Darth Marr)~~~
~~~(Location: Treasure Vaults of the Rakata, Belsavis)~~~

"I can't say that we're happy to see you, Nathan. I was worried that you and I would run into each other again, and it couldn't have happened at a worse time..."

My attention shifts to the massive doors behind me, and my Imperial Tech Officers are still doing as much work as they can. Buying time with idle conversation seems the best option at the moment.

"You must be Darth Jadus. I've heard much about you... And standing in your presence now. I'm a little disappointed. The power surrounding you was supposed to be overwhelming and suffocating."

Darth Jadus is unaffected by the insult, and that's expected. All three of us are different. We're not affected by petty insults, but we're not above using them. It does prove to be interesting entertainment.

"I don't have any information on the two subjects known as Darth Marr and Darth Jadus. Are they friends of yours?"

The droid standing next to Nathan grabs my attention. It's not something I've ever seen before, and I have no clue what Nathan is doing with a droid. He works alone, always.

"They're members of The Dark Council. They're the real power behind the Sith Empire. That pathetic Emperor only hides away. These are some of the most important people in the galaxy."

As Nathan speaks, the droid looks to be listening intently. There is an uneasy feeling I get looking at the droid. A warning from The Force... That she'll be trouble... Maybe not now, but eventually...

"Before you buy too much time for your Imperial lapdogs, why don't you tell me what you're up to on Belsavis. I could tear your mind apart, but neither of us wants that."

Darth Jadus immediately draws his Lightsaber and ignites it. No sense in talking anymore, I suppose.

I do the same and get into an Ataru Gaurd.

"Ahh... It seems that you're both ready. Buying time to get into that vault is pointless. But I look forward to testing my Lightsaber skills against people of your talent and stature."

He has every right to be arrogant. When you have power like Nathan, you can say anything you want and get away with you.

His right arm lifts, and he holds his hand out. His Lightsaber hilt flies off his belt and into his hand. The droid is lifted off the ground and placed safely behind him.

"Let's not waste any more time with idle chatter."

~~~(POV: SCORPIO)~~~
~~~(Location: Treasure Vaults of the Rakata, Belsavis)~~~

Both The Dark Lords leap toward Nathan, but he stays calm, and right before they reach him, he ignites his Lightsaber. His blade redirects Darth Marr's strike, and he ducks and spins under Darth Jadus's attack.

The is no wasted effort in his movements. Darth Marr doesn't take long from the redirection and locks blades with Nathan.

Darth Jadus tries to take advantage, but Nathan deactivates his Lightsaber and moves out of the way of Darth Marr's falling body.

The unexpected move causes Darth Jadus to hesitate and almost halts entirely. But the blunder is already seen, and Nathan uses a parry and cuts off Darth Jadus's hand.

"Gah!!"

The man lets out a grunt, and before anything else can happen. Nathan unleashes white Force Lightning from his free left hand. The Force from the attack slams Darth Jadus into the wall and makes him unconscious.

Leaving only Darth Marr and Nathan.

"It seems like Darth Jadus has focused too much on Force Power and not enough on Lightsaber Combat... Such narrow-minded focus will lead to weaknesses."

Darth Marr is already back into his guard, but the motion to cut off Darth Jadus's hand and use Force Lightning on him was so fast that Darth Marr hadn't even spun around yet from the near tumble he took.

"He's making us look like amateurs..."

Darth Marr's words aren't wrong... I would've expected more... But he's doing what he's intended. The door he wants open is almost that. Open.

"I must admit that I'm a little shocked, Marr. I would've thought you gained more power since Hoth. But you feel the same as back then as you do now."

He's unaffected by the jab from his lack of growth, but I can sense that his team is almost done.

"Perhaps it's that your power has grown so much you can't feel the difference anymore..."

That's a fair point, but not one I'm going to debate.

"Are you going to kill us, Nathan? Cause if you aren't, I hardly see the point to all this talking..."

He's gotten smarter.

I don't intend to kill them.

Marr plays a very important role. But not Darth Jadus.

"Not you, Marr. I won't kill you... But Darth Jadus... I'm undecided."

I sense a wave of curiosity and surprise from Darth Marr.

To be expected, given how much I've changed since I learned the truth about myself.
