Operation Orwellian Roswell: Part One

In the twilight hours, the skies became littered with hundreds of warbirds and bombers. The Ghost and the Enola crew were flighting higher than everyone else, concealing their presents. The orders were simple, radio silence, when lights go green jump and begin the fight.

"Jarrin, how are we looking?"

"We're on course, let's just hope this bomb works."

All of the new arrivals from the moon had landed on the West Coast, and knowing the clans didn't know what an airplane was, the Ghost was throwing everything he had in his arsenal at the enemy. the sun began to set in the west, the lights went green. Liberty Bell, and the entire Remnant of the United States was deployed. The Old Guard lead by Barbara launched the first attack with rockets and SAMs.

"Let em have it!" yelled Barbara as missiles and rockets left their launchers rocking Roswell, New Mexico

Bombers made their run on the old Area 51, the enemy response was scrambled, the experimental aircrafts had been taken out giving the Americans the advantage. The 451st began their assault raining fire from the air and flamethrowers from the ground.

"They've taken the bait, fire up Hephaestus IV."

The space dwellers revealed a type of super cannon, powered by the sun, it opened fire super heating the causing the Enola to low altitude rapidly.

"Jarrin, your plane, my bomb."

"Roger that."

The bomb bay opens up and the bomb falls out, way off target, however, using the Bombardier Flight Powered Armor 100 or BFPA-100, the Ghost jumps after it. Grabbing ahold of the bomb, the Ghost begins to guide the bomb down. The armor was painted to resemble the Enola Gay and had twin radial Pratt and Whitney R-2800's instead of a jet pack, allowing the user to fly distance. The Ghost and the bomb punched through the clouds now visible to everyone. "Clear out, you have three minutes." radioed the Ghost

"Jesus Christ, as long as he's attached to that bomb all he can do is roll and evade. That armor wasn't intended to be used like that."

As the Army and Airforce cleared out, the Ghost detached from the bomb, and pulled up hard, flying away from everyone as the bomb made contact with the ground. A flash of light blinded everyone, the Ghost included, they all seemed to be frozen in place, as if time had stopped.

"I'm truly sorry, but you must try this again." a booming voice sounded as time seemed to resume.

"Time to start over."
