The clear sky seemed to be covered with a thick layer of gray fog. Dark thunderclouds suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and lightning could be seen among the clouds. Rain began to fall.
The weather in the Scottish Highlands changed in an instant. Just when others were confused, the two groups of people who were confronting each other in the field all turned their attention to Sean.
Reinhardt, who was constantly talking nonsense and mocking, looked at Sean and suddenly changed. He is different from other wizards. He has a good sense of danger, which is a gift he has had since childhood. Right in front of him, Sean had brought him a great sense of threat.
He had never experienced this feeling from his principal. Reinhardt's expression became serious.
Sean waved his wand slowly, "A fool like you will never understand the difficulty of creating a spell of your own, especially when you create a new spell completely different from existing ones."
The bird he summoned disappeared, only the thunder in the sky became more deafening.
"Flocks of birds are not useful." Sean explained, "However, Hermione's flocks of birds can already be used as a full-fledged attack spell, and besides..."
He tugged on his collar.
"The power is determined according to the summoned birds."
The Durmstrang group stared. At some point, several huge flying creatures appeared right above the field. They hovered freely, and with their movements, the thunder became more and more intense.
They were a few eagle-like creatures covered with golden feathers with a pair of huge wings. They made angry hissing sounds, and lightning flashed on their feathers. Most of the students present were middle and senior students, and they recognized these creatures at a glance.
"Thunderbird!?!" a Durmstrang student exclaimed. "Impossible. How could a Thunderbird appear in England?"
Except for smuggling, this kind of bird native to North America is impossible to appear in the UK, and this is not a low-risk magical animal that is allowed to be raised. A magical animal with an XXXX danger level can easily kill a group of adult wizards, and above the Quidditch field in front of you, there are four Thunderbirds.
Reinhardt's eyes shrank suddenly, his senses frantically reminded himself. The target of these four Thunderbirds was him. Reinhardt suddenly turned his head to look at Sean, his eyes full of disbelief.
Sean waved his wand casually, "As I said, you have to pay for your insult to my friend. It's a pity that I can only summon a few birds, and I'm not as proficient as Hermione."
"But this should be enough." Sean pointed his wand at Reinhardt expressionlessly.
Before Reinhart could curse out, a huge sense of threat came from the air roaring down. The four Thunderbirds uttered a terrifying roar; they spread their wings, the tail was shaking violently, and lightning flashed. The people around were horrified to find that there was even static electricity in the air. But this is nothing compared to what Reinhardt has to feel.
He felt that the four terrifying magical animals had completely surrounded him. The ability to create storms was even more terrifying than the thunder and lightning spells used by wizards. He could even feel that the Thunderbirds created the storm entirely for him.
Thunderbird's storm shouldn't be able to attack a certain target. But this thought flashed through Reinhardt's mind, and a thunderbolt exploded! The tiny electric current entangled Reinhardt like it was alive, and a strong sense of numbness spread all over his body at once.
Reinhardt, who had no time to react at all, had already half-kneeled on the ground, trembling. His wand had just been drawn out, and he hadn't even had time to lift it up. He tried his best to lift his body, but his vision was pitch black.
Four Thunderbirds rushed over.
With so many dangerous magical animals suddenly appearing, Durmstrang's students took several steps back, even putting down their wands. Krum also watched all this in shock and reacted when the Thunderbird was only ten meters away from the ground.
"Wallup, make your birds stop attacking."
Sean was lazily holding his wand, and the magic power poured out softly and formed an umbrella. The rain brought by the Thunderbird hit the magic umbrella.
He touched the water and replied with a smile, "An excellent spell is being performed right now. It's not a big deal."
Under Krum's horrified gaze, the four Thunderbirds flew straight down and attacked Reinhardt. Their talons and beaks were sharper than a sword, and Reinhardt was knocked down in an instant. The red blood spread along the rainwater, and several deep wounds suddenly appeared on his body.
The Thunderbirds roared down, circled up again, circled the field, spread their wings, and continued to aim at Reinhardt. However, the pain seemed to break him out of paralysis. His face was covered in blood, and the veins near his temples were bulging.
"Wallup!"
Reinhardt didn't even think about defending. He raised his wand, and a red light rushed straight at Sean. This time, a large flock of yellow birds appeared in front of Sean's eyes. They chirped and surrounded each other.
The Thunderbird roared again! It was another round of attack, and Reinhardt knelt down on the field powerlessly. He had already turned into a deadbeat. The rain kept washing the wound, and the pain inflicted his senses.
"I want you to die." He raised his wand tremblingly, and a stream of magic power condensed.
Sean narrowed his eyes.
"Enough!" Krum growled.
He held up his wand and ran in front of Reinhardt. A transparent barrier appeared, and the Thunderbirds who rushed towards him collided head-on with the Protego Charm. The conflict lasted only a second, and Krum and Reinhardt behind him were pushed away.
He half-kneeled on the ground; there was a tear in the clothes on his chest, and there was a faint white mark on the muscles.
"Are you going to start a war between the two schools?!" Krum yelled.
Reinhardt not only had a lot of deep wounds but even several bones were broken. Without the defensive magic item that Professor Karkaroff gave him in advance, he would've died long ago.
However, without giving him much time to think, the Thunderbirds were circling again. Sean was still holding his wand and umbrella, with one hand in his pocket, like an old-fashioned gentleman greeting an old friend in the rain.
"You Durmstrang students are such a nuisance." He said, frowning, "Your friend is a mistake, and insulting my friend with the most vicious words out there didn't stop him in time. Now you're trying to stop me?"
Sean smiled, "It was the right choice for Hermione not to accept your invitation to the Ball."
Krum was startled, gritted his teeth, and lowered his head. The Wesley twins echoed.
"Do you think that even though Reinhardt was beaten badly, the person with the worst attitude towards Sean is Krum?" Fred said.
"I think so. Sean now looks much like his girlfriend, who has been treated badly and is upset." George nodded in deep agreement.
Fortunately, the two's voices were quiet enough, and Sean was busy with the two Durmstrang students. Otherwise, he would have had to ask the Thunderbirds to shock these two, too.
Looking at Krum, who was still standing in front of Reinhardt, Sean raised his eyebrows. "There should be another one, right? That guy named Leon? Is that his name? I am curious. Where did you get the courage to compete with me in the tournament?"
"Even daring to attack my team secretly. I'll accept any challenge from all Durmstrang students, everyone, no matter whether they are the contestants or not, no matter what grade they are in, no matter what means you use."
Sean directly stated the purpose of this coming and said that he no longer had his usual gentle appearance. He wants to show enough arrogance since they like to hide in the dark.
Moreover, Sean's provocation seemed reckless, but he had put a lot of thought into it. It was just a fight between students, and it wasn't two big groups of students attacking each other with spells; it was just a personal struggle between him, Reinhardt, and Krum.
While provoking Durmstrang's students with words, Sean observed all the magic power in the field. As long as there was any trace of magic power about Obscurus or a Sin, he would immediately lock the target. While Durmstrang's contestants are the most suspicious, the others cannot be completely ignored.
However, although he was happy to bully others, the other Durmstrang students seemed completely overwhelmed by him. In front of Sean's performance, no one dared stand up and face him.
After all, the power of the four Thunderbirds is too frightening, especially since Reinhardt was already knocked out. Sean scanned the crowd, but no one dared to look at him.
Too bad that Leon didn't come. As he continued to raise his wand, he was ready for the Thunderbirds to deal the final blow to Krum. Krum raised his head.
He pursed his lips bitterly, his face full of defeat, "It is Reinhardt's fault. He shouldn't have said such things to your friend. I want to apologize to you, Hermione, and your friends on his behalf."
Sean raised his eyebrows in surprise. This was really a once-in-a-thousand-years event, especially since the person in front of him was a world-renowned Quidditch star.
Just when Sean was hesitating about whether to accept the apology from the other side, a voice was heard.
"What are you doing here?!"
It was Karkaroff.
