Three days of rest passed by as the group did whatever they needed to prepare. Clark had made certain that all of them stopped by a blacksmith stall and had Ralph rent a space to maintain any armor or metal works that they had. Especially the cooking tools and other things needed for their camping in the wilderness.
With this, came the fact that many of the blacksmiths that rented the forge as well had been attracted to the work that Ralph was doing. They found that he was using techniques that appeared to be a mix of others.
What no one, and even Ralph had not noticed was that he had been learning forging from multiple sources. He had also learned to forge metals that had unique energies. Specifically, he had tried to replicate what Clark could do with the eternal ice.
