Spirit Chronicles: Tale of the world's strongest Jaeger

A mistake by a team of researchers opened the gate to the realm of Entomorphia, releasing giant bugs called Entomorphs. The sheer number of Entomorphs and their immunity to metallic weapons pushed humanity to the brink of extinction. But humanity was saved by another alien species called spirits. These spirits were living among humans, posing as different animals. Seeing the Entomorphs massacring humans, they extended their arms to them. Making contracts with them, humans used their spirit powers to fight against the Entomorphs. One day the MC, Ray Foster comes across a cat with bruises all over her body. He decides to take her home and take care of her. What he didn't realize was that the cat was a spirit. As thanks for taking care of her, the cat makes a contract with Ray, turning him into a spirited. Thus the journey of the world's strongest Jaeger begins.

Battle of the Delhi Border - 05

Ray gets to the fight and stops next to Yuki. Yuki was standing before an unconscious Captain Lee. Puppeteer was standing before Yuki with a few meters of gap between them. Ray glances at Captain Lee and tells Yuki to get Captain Lee and Tessa to a safe position.

Yuki gets anxious and says, "You can't fight him alone, master. Even for a prime, he's too powerful."

Ray doesn't move. He reprimands Yuki, "Just do what I told you to."

Puppeteer was standing silently. But suddenly he says, "Listen to your master, kitten. Let's see what you've got, boy. Your eyes look interesting."

Yuki stands there silently for a moment glancing at both of them. Puppeteer was smirking while Ray was fuming from anger. Yuki picks Captain Lee on her back and runs towards Tessa. Ray watches Yuki go.

Ray turns back towards Puppeteer and runs towards him. He gets close to Puppeteer in an instant and punches him in the face. The punch sends Puppeteer flying towards a building's wall. Puppeteer's body hits the wall and breaks it. Puppeteer gets buried under the rubble of the broken wall. Puppeteer tries to get up from the rubble and the moment he looks up he sees Ray before him. Ray picks him up and throws him to the ground. Ray stands on top of him and starts punching him in the face and the body. Ray kept punching without a stop but he felt his disadvantage as he felt his punches getting slower and having only his left hand was troubling too.

Suddenly Puppeteer kicks Ray in the stomach. The kick removes Ray from Puppeteer. Ray lands a few meters away. Ray was panting from exhaustion. Puppeteer feels something on his face. He touches it and realizes his head's bleeding.

Puppeteer gives a satanic laugh and says, "Well done, Tiger boy. I like you. Come on, let's keep playing."

Puppeteer tries to run towards Ray but suddenly a bunch of string entangles Puppeteer and pulls him away. Ray tries to pursue but falls. He feels completely out of strength as his vision fades away.

Puppeteer finds himself being carried away by a giant spider with its upper body being that of a female human.

He also sees lots of spider entomorphs heading toward the battlefield.

Puppeteer says in an annoyed tone, "Why did you pull me out, Silk? I was just starting to have fun."

Silk says, "Idiot, you've got so immersed that you didn't notice what's coming?"

"Jaegers."

"Almost a thousand of them. Anyway, What did you find?"

"Nothing. Most of them are weaklings. But there is one. A tiger boy. He's interesting."

"HUH!! Let's go back to base. You'll elaborate there."

Thousands of entomorphs flood Delhi in the next few hours. Even though the Jaegers from Lost Eden arrived at the battlefield, due to the sheer number of entomorphs, they had no choice but to retreat with the injured ones in tow.

In the battle of the Delhi border, around 250 Jaegers were KIA, and the 69th Test Platoon was totally wiped out. The humanity border was pushed back all the way to Ghaziabad.
