"Care to explain yourself, Demidog?"

"Hah? Demidog?"

"Yes."

The door opens again and Blade, who just happens to walk in, muffles a laugh. Claude gives him a punch.

Violetta supports her chin on her hand while enjoying the dog fight. Claude gives a punch, immediately shoving Blade at the back of the door, while simultaneously closing the door with Blade's back. However, the fist was caught, so it just looked like an epic way to close a door.

Meanwhile, Blade uses his other hand to cover his tearing eyes as he laughs. It was unsure if he is laughing because of how Violetta degraded the demigod to demidog, or Claude's overreacting, or both.

"Stop laughing dude… and you, princess excuse mE, but I'm a demiGOD so please do not call me names," he puts on a somewhat proud expression.

"Be grateful that they have the same letters."

"Excuse me?"

Claude crouches down with mixed emotions. He really felt like chucking this princess out the window. She's so annoying!

"I was at least a wolf! Not a dog!"

"They're both 'Canis Lupus' so it's basically the same."

Blade sighs with his stone serious face, as he listens to the weird conversation, "I love how you guys just forgot about me here."

"Oh, you were here?" Claude asks sarcastically.

He then turns back to look at the princess, "How did you know about 'Canis Lupus'.

Violetta inwardly curses, 'Sh*t, this isn't Earth.'

"I… read it… somewhere… I think."

"How weird. This information should be classified to only those of the Demigod Society right now. It looks like we should do a thorough inspection to see who leaked it so that even a sheltered princess would know," he gives a model response of how one of the society should respond, however one glance at his eyes and the other two people knew that he didn't believe someone leaked.

"Anyways, Demidog, please explain yourself," Violetta changes the topic quickly.

"... well…"

He looks over at Violetta only to be greeted with a stern look.

"... I didn't want you to recognize me before… so I changed my appearance…"

'Hmm, makes sense, but not that a sheltered princess would really recognize anyways. I guess my personality change was too sudden and stuff.' Violetta sighs as she recalls, 'Life just got so much harder.'

"Ok then. Also, what was that thing that attacked me?"

Both Claude and Blade's faces immediately darken and become serious.

"It's dark magic. We apologize for the accident. The Demigod Society will compensate you," Claude bows and Blade follows.

"..."

'Oi, this kid's mood change is literally on par with my acting. *Inward clapping…'

"..."

"How is your wound? What did the mages say?" Claude musters out, breaking the silence.

"The magic or whatever they tried didn't work at all. The dark thing is still here as you can see," Violetta monotonously responds.

"Hm… I guess it's a very advanced dark magic spell. My light magic should help," Claude steps closer.

A warm light quickly surrounds Violetta before she could say a word. Luckily the Demidog didn't touch her or else, this infirmary would probably turn into a battlefield. Violetta watches with surprise and interest as the soot seems to shrink until it turns into a small circle on her neck and fades away.

Claude heaves a sigh as sweat drips down his forehead.

"Thanks."

"No problem. How do you feel?" He asks like a doctor.

"Same as always?"

He looks at her with surprise, "Wait, don't tell me it still hurts?"

"No? Was the spell supposed to hurt?"

"..."

'What a monster… her pain tolerance must be super high!' Claude thinks in amazement. Unfortunately, this was quite the misunderstanding, since Violetta really didn't feel pain at all.

She looks at him in confusion and thought, 'What? Was it the spell really supposed to hurt? It didn't at all though…'

After a moment of silence full of contemplation, Blade and Claude head towards the door.

"Anyways, rest up, we'll come visit you later to check on your condition."

Violetta nods and smirks, saying, "Goodbye, demiDOG."

Hah, this one word immediately pissed off Claude, "GOODBYE, little kitten."

He storms off.

"Little kitten?" Violetta inquires of the remaining person, Blade.

"Dunno, come to think of it, he also said that before but never explained…" he replies thoughtfully, "Anyways, see you later princess."

"Bye, laughing kid."

Blade walks out with a chuckle.

Tic tock tic tock, time passes as Violetta looks around boringly. The light of the magic stones are created by inserting magic into special crystals, most likely. The color symbolizes the type of magic entrapped in it, which she figured out in her free time. Water magic is blue, fire is red, wind is gray, earth is green, and light is probably white, but she hasn't seen any to make sure. Dark magic... well we don't need to consider that, do we?

She even figured out mana-calls are most likely water magic based, and the wolf ears and tail were light based illusions. But why was it that she could touch them?

Just when she was debating whether to sleep or not, a knock came from the door.

"Come in," Violetta calls out in a gentle voice.

A mage apprentice opens the door and stands by the side, allowing the people behind him enter first.

The water mage tending to her, the Supreme Demigod, Claude, Blade, and Kate walk in.

"Your supremacy, Supreme Demigod," Violetta slightly bows her head in respect and compliance.

'Tch, how come you've never shown me this respect before huh?' Claude complains in his heart.

The Supreme Demigod puts up a kind smile, " I apologize, princess, for the accident. Allow us to compensate you."

Violetta easily gives out an answer with no greed or hesitation in her eyes, "No need, I'd also like to ask a favor of your supremacy."

"Go ahead, we owe you compensation anyways," he responds.

The next words gave the people in the room a little startle.

"I'd like it if everyone were to not spread the word out about my accident, especially not to my family."
