Chapter 56: Vampire War Start

"Is it just me or does this place scream pretentious prick?" Adam said as they followed the maid past the double grand staircase that lead to the upper floors.

The floor tiles were made of marble and the grout was golden. Expensive paintings and artwork was everywhere, there were quite a few men and women all around doing various things. Some looked to be guards, others were partying it up, some were even having orgies.

"No I am getting the same feeling as you, do you think he is compensating for something? It's as if he needs us to know how rich he is or something." Yelena responded as she studied the interior of the estate.

The maid continued to walk forward, her face contorted in anger after hearing what they were saying about her master.

'Just you wait, master will charm you into his pet bitch, while I devour your man in front of you. You'll be our covens plaything until you are broken, then we will drain you dry.' The maid angrily thought as she quickly hit the anger away.

"Is there a bathroom on the way? I need to powder my nose before we meet the host of this little party. And what is the theme? I think I've seen just about every kind so far. There was the Toga room, Masquerade, what looked like a Fratt party, orgy or swinger party which looked fun, hopefully we can do multiple ones." Yelena asked excitedly.

The maid snorted lightly but put on a fake smile and stopped by a door, "Of course you will be able to join whichever you wish after the host is done welcoming you both inside. You can use this bathroom here. Just make it quick, he has a lot of guests to feed and entertain."

"Perfect, I'll be quick. Don't start without me love." Yelena said while giving Aiden a peck on his cheek.

Adam just smiled at her antics, not knowing if she was doing it to rile him or the maid. Yelena entered the bathroom and used her suit to scan the room, locating the camera that was hidden, she used her suit AI to project a false image to the camera and then proceeded to dismantle the casing around the camera, then plug a hacking AI into the security cable.

Once it uploaded she replaced everything back the way it was, then walked out, "All done, lets go meet this gracious host."

As they walked Adam watched as Eve began to get all the files, security codes, bank information, the blackmail files and locations of businesses and blood farms that this coven owned and operated.

'Well did we get what we needed?' Yelena asked thru the mental communication.

'Yea, so whenever you want to start the massacre we are good to go. Steve and the others are heading to the Blood Farms now, Coulson is sending teams to take over the businesses, Fury is on the storage facilities that house the blackmail files to see if we can use it ourselves and see if anyone is compromised.' Adam replied.

'Not yet, I am curious to see what this host wants.' Yelena replied with a smile.

'That's easy, he probably wants you, vampires can charm or hypnotize and that may be what this Kraven guys ability is. It's a rare skill outside the Siren Sect, but not unheard of.' Adam explained.

At the mention of mind control Yelena's face hardened and her eyes showed hesitation and fear, she instantly thought back to the Red Room.

Her and her sisters were mind controlled for years. They had an aversion to anything related to it. This was why Killgrave was killed not long after Adam arrived.

When the widows gained knowledge of his existance, he was killed without receiving an order.

'Don't worry, using the Mind Gem, I have shielded yours and all the widows minds from all forms of mind control. So no matter how powerful they are, they won't be able to control you. Your minds are your own, you all suffered too much.' Adam said comfortingly, he had seen the deep fear of losing the freedom she had gained since being rescued from the Red Room.

As soon as Adam said that, Yelena felt her heart flutter, she hadn't realized that Adam had already thought of her and the other widows. He did everything to make sure they didn't suffer fates worse than death and protected them.

'Just you wait Adam, I will not hold back any more.'

"The master is here. Please enjoy yourselves to the fullest." The maid opened the door.

Inside, the room was dark and eerie, candle light was the only source of light for the room, so the shadows seemed to jump here and there as the flames danced above red wax candles.

There were soft moans coming from the dark, the sound of a chain clinking from subtle rhythmic moving.

Adam had no trouble seeing what was going on, Kraven had women chained to his back wall, their eyes were dull, as if they were not there. Their bodies were covered in bruises and bite markes, their skin was pale as ghosts due to no sunlight and weak due to blood loss.

'Guilty.' Spectre's voice resounded within Adam's head. The Spectre wanted to be released upon this coven of decrepit vampires.

Yelena walked in confidently, her eyes hadn't fully adjusted to the new lighting conditions, which this amused Kraven greatly. He enjoyed breaking strong women the most, they resisted the longest and become the greatest of pets.

"Enter my dear. Come greet your new master." Kraven said as he stepped forward into the light, he was as naked as the day he was born.

His skin was a ghostly ashen white, his hair was a black that seemed to match the color of the void when contrasted with his skin, his eyes shown a blood red color as he was activating his mind control.

Yelena felt him try to enter her mind and exert control over her, she walked forward as she heard what he said, she was going make him pay for trying to control her as others had done.

"Yes, you are a pretty one. Very strong willed, good, the last one that came wasn't very strong willed at all. She became obedient much to quickly. I'm going to enjoy tasting you...." Kraven suddenly started choking and couldn't talk.

"Shut up you pathetic overcompensating prick, I have had enough of your prattling on and on." Adam said as he used the power of the Spectre to remove his voicebox.

Then using the reality gem he created soft lighting that illuminated the back wall that had nine women with nothing but a collar around their neck.

Their eyes said it all, they were unmoving, unfocused and inattentive. Yelena then radioed in for a medical team to transport the women back to the Infinity.

Yelena then walked over to Kraven who was trying to shout, use his power to control Yelena to do his bidding. To Kraven's horror, Yelena's dress changed into a combat uniform, he recognized the uniform.

"Perfect, I don't have to explain, I am going to have fun with this. Do you know that me and my sister's hate mind control powers, especially scum that abuse others using such powers."

As Yelena began to torture Kraven Adam also equipped the commander uniform and set up a few automated turrets.

Adams HUD showed heavy numbers of vampires en route, "Yelena calm down, I understand what you're going through, when I regained my memories it made my usual controlled temperament vanish. I prided myself on being able to remain calm and in control. I had to redirect those emotions, that's what I need you to do now, redirect it on the hundreds of blood suckers on the way. If you want to get these women out safely we need to clear the house first and foremost."

Yelena pulled a regular gun out and aimed it at Kraven's groin, "Understood, allow me to show you just how painful being raped is, once we handle your friends, me and you will be having a nice discussion."

Yelena emptied the magazine, which just had regular bullets, Kraven let out a really high pitched scream as his groin was turned to swiss cheese.

"Feel better?" Adam asked as he had his suit create his weapon.

"A little, wow what is that? I haven't seen that in the databanks for weapons." Yelena said as she admired the alien gun in Adam's hand.

"Its called Loathsome Thing. It is a modified Z-180 CCR/AEM, basically it is an energy weapon to which I have modified the ionized particle ammunition to emit Ultra Violet light and radiation."

The Z-180 Close Combat Rifle/Asymmetric Engagement Mitigator was 45.5 inches long, 4.2 inches wide and 13.4 inches in height.

It was a piece of Forerunner technology that worked off energy already, so instead of using UV bullets, he wanted to see how it would do against a horde of vampires.

"Can I try? That gun looks so cool, it's looks simple and elegant yet intimidating." Yelena asked, fireworks were practically shooting from her eyes.

"Just be careful. These aren't anything like what you have used. Eve, grant access to the Z-180 series for Yelena." Adam responded which earned him a kiss.

"Getting more bold are we? Well lets get to work. They will be here in sixty seconds, while medical evac is set to arrive in three minutes, so should be fun." Adam said with an eye roll.

Taking out a grenade belt Adam then threw it down the long corridor that the Vampires would have to run down to get to them. Yelena did the same, they then placed the detonator on the ground so that they could keep their hands free. If they began to get swarmed they could step on the detonator and blow big chunks out of their numbers easily.

"Steve how is it on your guys end?" Adam asked as he took aim.

"Two down and two to go. The teams are already heading to reinforce the last two, apparently these other two were already attacked a few days ago which is why they put up a strong defense."

"Good, keep in touch with everyone, after tonight the Vampires will begin becoming desperate. So keep on your toes. Use the tools we have, bag and tag the trouble makers."

"Here they come." Yelena shouted and pulled the trigger. To her surprise there was no kickback, but yet several Vampires exploded into pools of blood.

"Hell yea, new favorite weapon." Yelena said as she continued to fire.

What made the Z180 series so dangerous was the fact that its projectiles could ricochet off surfaces, so even after it disintegrated a group, the particals would then hit the wall and scatter, taking out any others in the way.

Needless to say, due to superior weapons and technology, the Kraven Coven was brought to it's knees. The blood facilities were taken down and thousands of people were rescued, some of whom have been missings for decades.

This caused a major movement worldwide, now Vampires were known to exist, the UNSC had released the information on the blood factories, they were trying to find friends and family of the victims.

Peggy Carter had released the info to the public and had put all information on the internet on the people rescued from the few facilities.

This was the start of operations launched against the Vampires. Much like humans, vampires were diverse and segregated themselves, not just from humans, even from themselves.

There were several different Sects and Covens, some of which had very different ideals or vision for the future, so they would come into conflict with not just humans but each other as well.

Adam planned to begin to dismantle the various groups little by little, he needed vampires to band together before making any deals. He didn't want to deal with vampire groups seperately, so he systematically went after the worst of the worst.

As Adam worked on the Vampires, out in space, Frank Castle was waging a war against the Black Order. Thanos' adoptive children.

Frank along with the mercenary group became known as the Punishers. The men under Frank took the infamous skull and put it on everything; ships, weapons, bombs, helmets. They always went after the hardest of missions, making a name for themselves.

The UNSC Mercenary Division was officially named Dark Moon, but the Punishers became their more widely known name, Frank had been able to increase the number if mercenaries under him greatly.

Every captured pirate or smuggler was offered to be turned over to the people or government that paid for their capture, or join them and serve for a certain amount of time, which was determined by the crimes they had committed as well as having multipliers such as how many crimes, frequency, etc, if they survived their time they could continue work as mercenary and begin to get paid or move to a UNSC world and settle.

Currently Frank was looking for Vormir, the planet was not in any star charts, Adam also knew there was a chance that the stone was no longer on Vormir like originally.

Unlike the other stones, the soul stone could move around without any outside help. It didn't need to have someone find it and carry it off to relocate, it would move randomly by itself.

Even in the movie it was explained that the soul stone didn't find its way onto Vormir until around 1945, it got encased into a shrine and then Red Skull was made keeper of the shrine by the space stone.

The Soul Stone was the most mysterious and dangerous of the Infinity Stones, not even the celestials or elders of the universe knew the full extent of its abilities.

Adam had a little more information than most but even that was only just a little more than most.

Frank had learned that the Black Order was looking for the last Infinity Stone, their objective was to keep it from Adam and to try to use it as bait to get the other gems from Adam.

Thanos was on the backfoot now, this is what made Frank and his mercs so popular across the universe. Thanks to Frank, the Black Order hadn't been able to attack worlds like they did before. Thanos couldn't continue his slaughter of worlds as he did, killing half the life then leave.

Thanos knew he was lacking in strength, he had lost every stone he had gathered to date, inadvertently giving them to his enemy, now he couldn't afford to do what he used to.

All his population control plans had been put on hold, rather than his fleets attacking planets, they began searching instead. Although they weren't polite in their actions, the universe detected the changes in Thanos' forces, Frank and his group were accredited for this making them heroes of the universe.

Frank knew that this peace was only temporary, unless he could find the Soul Stone first, Thanos could do a lot of damage with the Soul Stone should he find it. So Frank had scouting ships and drones tailing every ship belonging to Thanos.
