chapter six. friends?

My mind wasn't at all in English class. I kept on looking around for ji-hun but he didn't seem to be in class. Just then the bell rang.

Mrs min grabbed her things and left the class after a quick good bye. I got up leaving the class and going down the opposite way of the hall crossing over to the other hallway which led to the school lunch room.

Students were all filled up in the canteen. Well it's  lunch hour soo... I walked to an empty lunch table and sat down on the seat, that is after ordering my food.

" hey " . Su-yeon said dropping her food and sitting down across me.

I chuckled. " I thought you were mad at me ".

" I still am but, your my bestie so I forgive you.... Partially ".

I smiled taking a bite of my hamburger.

I felt someone sit beside me. " hey buddy ".

" ji-hun". I said mouthful. Su-yeon stared at him. Okay did I land in an opposite universe. I swallowed. " did you hit your head ".

He laughed. " no silly, I'm fine ".

" hyung  ". Su-yeon called. " I thought you hated him ".

" I..... "

" no he doesn't ". Ji-hun cut me off. " I mean we just had a real good talk at my house yesterday ". He chuckled. " right jeong-wu ".

Ji-hun looked at me. I could see the obvious play - along look he had in his eyes.

I smiled dropping the burger back on the plate. " can I talk to you? " .

" yeah sure ".

I turned back to su-yeon. " excuse us".

I grabbed ji-hun by hand pulling him towards the exit not really minding the people staring at us.

" what do you want!? ". I asked him immediately we were in the silent of the hallway outside the lunch room.

He smiled. Not a cool friendly smile - more like a evil payback smile. " it's obvious you love your dad so much and I love him too".

I raised a brow. " where are you going with this? ".

He chuckled. " I'm gonna fire your dad ".

" what? ". I shrieked. This guy is evil. He said it like he's gonna just trash a rubbish. " but you can't do that, you just told me you love him ".

" I do but I can just find another better person ".

I stared at him transfixed. I couldn't let this happen. Dad is already really happy with the job and it's paying enough, if dad looses this job it'll be hell finding another one. I can't let this happen.

" you know ". Jeong-wu started snapping me out of my trance. " I hate disrespect especially when it comes from people like him ".

" but ji-hun he's been so good to you and your damn family, he loves you".

" but his son disrespected me ". He stuffed his hands into his pants pocket still maintaining his evil smile. " it still counts as him, right? ".

What? All this because of a seat. Whatever, I couldn't let dad pay for what was totally my fault. " ji-hun don't do this ".

Ji-hun took a step closer. " get on your knees and beg me ".

I sighed. I can't believe I'm about to do this but for dad, I can do anything even if it means begging a snub like Kim ji-hun. I fell on my knees, at this point I felt desperate. " ji-hun please don't fire my dad, I beg you ".

Nathan smirked. " I won't, on one condition ".

Off course. There is always a condition. " what is it? ".

" you'll get to know soon ". He said then walked out. Away and down the hall

Well I don't know if people will eventually start reading this book. It's discouraging you know, writing a book and just seeing that no one is reading it. It makes me just wanna give up on the one thing that makes me feel loved, whole, human, I get the message about love yourself but I don't know wat love is. Huh well if I can't love myself I hope I help others too,  and again no one is gonna read it.
