"Thank you" - Kaori replied awkwardly because she honestly didn't know how else to respond.

"Did I say something wrong?" - The girl asked as she cocked her head to the side.

The group had decided to say that she had changed because of eating some strange object, and not because she had basically died, after all, they didn't want the others to worry.

"I understand, I guess you're right, although you need to smile a bit more, you're much more beautiful now than before, especially your silver hair" - the girl said as she retreated with her other friends.

Kaori was silent for a few seconds before she felt a hand on her shoulder - "Huh?"

"Do you want to talk?" - Cloud asked as he looked in a direction that wasn't as crowded.

Kaori maintained her silence before nodding - "Ok."

"Let's go" - Cloud said as the two walked towards a place with no people.

The students looked at each other, though they quickly decided to stay out of the way. They may not have known what was going on, but one thing they were sure of was that Kaori was self-conscious about something.

"I died... Right?" - Kaori said directly after sensing that there was no one in the place besides the two of them.

Cloud was silent for a few seconds before he shook his head - "No, you didn't die, although you were left in a coma so to speak."

"You don't need to try to embellish things, Cloud, I know I died when I saw my body" - Kaori sighed as she shook her head - "There's no way I survived with that wound."

Cloud sighed when he heard this as he grabbed the girl's hand because he could see that she was shaking.

The two stood in silence as they watched the stars twinkle in the sky.

"Will everything be okay?" - Kaori asked as she thought about how difficult everything would be now that Ehit was starting to make direct moves against them.

"Yes, everything will be fine" - answered Cloud as he closed his eyes - "That's a promise I'm willing to do everything to keep".

"Ok" - smiled Kaori as she gave the brightest smile she could give the boy she liked.

The two were silent again for a few more minutes before deciding it was time to go back to the others.

"Thank you, Cloud," Kaori smiled as she gave him a kiss on the cheek before running over to Shizuku.

Cloud shook his head before walking over to Yue and the others with a serious expression on his face.

"Dad!" - Myu exclaimed as she ran to the blond and jumped into his arms.

"Seriously... How many times have I told you not to do that because you might get hurt, Myu?" - Cloud asked as he shook his head.

"I'm confident that you'll always catch me, daddy!" - Myu exclaimed with a cute smile.

Cloud shook his head as his serious expression melted - "Thank you."

"Why?" - Myu asked as she blinked her big eyes.

"For being yourself" - Cloud replied as he directed her to go to Kaori and Shizuku because he had to talk about something important with the others.

"Ok" - nodded Myu as she ran to her older sisters.

"Do you want me to go with her, Cloud?" - Remia asked as she looked in her daughter's direction.

Cloud thought about it for a second before nodding - "If that's what you wish, you can do it."

"Ok, I'll go with her then" - nodded Remia before running after her daughter, and although she was curious about what Cloud and the others would talk about, she was more concerned about her daughter, after all, she had just seen Kaori almost die during this trip, causing her to gain a deep terror for her baby's safety

"Cloud" - Yue said as she nodded in his direction - "I suppose you want to talk about countermeasures to improve our security?"

"Yes, though it's obvious what we have to do" - Cloud answered seriously as he looked around - "It's simple, we have to train double, no, triple what we already do, we have to improve our control over our new abilities and push them to the limit"

"We also have to explore our [Bloodlines]" - Tio added as he looked at the young blond.

Shea was silent before clenching his fists tightly - "They're right.."

Yue and Shea also took out their alcoholic beverages, though they weren't as big as the two dragons'.

"Why are they drinking?" - Kaori asked as she walked over to where the group along with Shizuku, Myu and Remia.

"Because we are enjoying our last celebration before leaving for training" - replied Tio while she put the barrel aside and looked at the new arrivals - "I recommend you to do the same because from tomorrow hell will start".

"I think I'll refrain, besides, someone has to take care of Myu-chan" - replied Kaori while shaking her head. She wasn't ready to be able to do other things with this body, not when she wasn't adapted enough yet.

Shizuku decided that she had better accompany her best friend so she wouldn't feel lonely while she instructed Remia to accompany the others, besides, they weren't like Cloud or Shea, they didn't have the courage to drink alcohol being so young because they knew that their parents would punish them if they found out after they returned to their old dimension.

"I don't know..." - Remia muttered as she pulled a small bottle of alcohol from her inventory ring - "I haven't had a drink in years because I didn't want to set a bad example for my baby."

"Relax, we're just celebrating" - replied Yue calmly as she drank her alcohol calmly, which was a mixture of alcoholic drink with a bit of blood, it was a special distillate that her species created to be able to enjoy moments like this.

"You don't have to worry so much, besides, this is just the beginning" - Tio added with a slight blush on her cheeks thanks to the effects of the alcohol.
