Chapter 465 ( Yorkshin City - I )

Another week had passed since Cloud had completed the first phase of his technique, and his personality was returning to how it was during the first world he had traveled, a change Kyoko appreciated with a smile.

The group had used this momentum to be able to hunt down as many criminals as possible.

"Then I'll give you the information we have" - said Menchi calmly - "I'm sure you'll find some interesting people"

"If I didn't know you, I'd be thinking that you're 'controlling' me to eliminate that group of criminals" - Cloud said while giving the [Gourmet Slayer] a look.

"I'm sorry, I just can't hold back the emotion when I think about the death of those bastards" - said Menchi while frowning.

"What's the reason for your hatred towards them?" - Cloud asked while raising an eyebrow.

"They haven't done anything to me, but they have hurt too many people" - Menchi answered seriously - "And as a slayer, I can't allow it".

"I see" - Cloud nodded, though he quickly lost interest in Menchi's words.

"Anyway, we'd better go to the hotel, we still have some places to check, and treasures to discover, don't we, Mimi?" - Kyoko said as she stroked Mimi's head, who was now resting on her shoulder.

Since the past 5 days, Mimi had fully recovered, and now there was no need to be with Cloud all the time, although he was still her special person, as well as her source of food.

The [Pixy Dragon] were creatures that consumed mana from the environment to survive, which is why their race was so small.

Sora for her part was now sleeping in Cloud's arms, though every now and then she would open her eyes to observe the surroundings curiously.

"Excuse me, I'd like to know how much for that strange little rabbit" - said a man as he stood in front of the group, only to gawk at the beauty of Kyoko and Kyōka- "Uh"

"I'm sorry, but Sora is not for sale" - Cloud replied while shaking his head.

"Kyu!" - Sora looked annoyed at this unknown man's clear intention to separate her from her new family- "Kyu Kyu Kyu!"

"I offer you, 100,000,000 for that rabbit" - said the man, who seemed unwilling to back down.

"It's not for sale" - Cloud replied neutrally - "Now I ask you to back off".

The man was about to say something else, when he felt the weight of the world fall on his shoulders.

Slowly, he looked up and noticed how Cloud was watching him with clear hostility, so without a second thought, he grabbed his things and ran away.

There was no need to think about calling his subordinates to capture the group, after all, he wasn't stupid enough to do so.

As an inhabitant of [Yorkshin City], he knew that there were people he shouldn't bother or underestimate, and Cloud was clearly one of them.

"Well, at least he's not stupid" - Cloud said as he noticed how the man running, had not shown any kind of hostility against them - "That's interesting."

"Well, this city is not as simple as it seems, so it's better for the inhabitants to know how to recognize when they are in front of someone dangerous" - replied Menchi while shaking her head - "If it were another city, possibly he would have called a group of men to come against us with the intention of stealing Sora, and possibly capturing Kyoko and Kyōka."

"You would be a target too, Menchi-san" - said Kyoko with a smile - "In beauty, you're no slouch."
