The Answer

The apartment was quiet except for the sound of the ceiling fan. There was only a reading lamp that was burning out to provide enough illumination for the book Sonal was reading. It was titled, “Shakteya Lineage – The True Men”.

The Shakteya Royal Line dated back to the Satya Yuga also known as Krita Yuga. That had been the time when dharma walked on four legs. The first Shakteya king was Harishchandra Raya. The first kings did not have the prefix ‘Ugra’ before their names then. They were known for their respect for dharma. They were the most righteous people on earth. They always led by example by walking their talk.

They were known to worship goddess Shakti. Hence they were called the Shakteya monarchs. The kings of this line were known to respect women greatly and were always the first to defend them in times of crisis. They taught martial arts to girls and women enabling them to defend themselves. They also contributed a lot to educating women.
