Chapter 14.

Finally settled in my new spot I had got ready to host my housewarming party and gender reveal. I had found this dope lady Shayla to decorate for the event. Inside the living room she had set up everything so nicely. It was pink and blue balloons everywhere. A big chair sat in front of the table. The table had decorations on it. From snacks, finger foods, and games. Inside the kitchen I had this chef whipping up all my favorites. I'm so glad I saved up all my money because this shit cost a good grip no lie. The music was on but not to loud as I heard the door bell ring. Going to answer I stood there taking a deep breath. In my white dress and pink slides I opened the door. It was Ava and Harold and with gifts. I knew they were going to be the first to arrive, they were more excited than anybody. Hugging them both I stepped aside and let them in. Ava looked surprised. "Oh my goodness this is such a beautiful home." She said looking around. "Thanks." I said walking them to the living room. The bell rings again. It's my parents this time. My mom hugged me so tight. "Hey baby we finally made it, can you believe that traffic it's hectic." She said. "Stop complaining. Hey baby girl." My dad says to me finally hugging me. "Damn this crib off the chain!" He says looking around. I laughed he silly. "Right Rein it is lovely and looks expensive." She said. I'm thinking don't mind my business just enjoy the view please. They join Carmelo's parents in the living room and start small talk. I start eating and the bell rings again. This time my mom runs to it and get the door for me. She do know I'm not handicapped right I thought I can get my own door. Since she insisted I continue to eat. In walks Cher , Malcolm, and Gino. My mouth hits the floor. They all got gifts but I'm like so taken back. Only because I didn't know anything about Gino coming to this event. Cher comes over to me with a smile. I'm thinking no bitch how dare you. "Hey girl. This is nice for real I'm jealous." She says ignoring the fact she done brung this man to my crib. "Yeah right meet me in the kitchen." I say as my guests get comfortable and grab things off the decoration table. Once we got in the kitchen I looked at her. "What were you thinking bringing him here?" I asked seriously. "What? Rein you need to chill. He overheard and wanted to bring you a gift. Stop being so fucking mean honey, okay just relax." She said. "You know what bitch I hate you for real. I'm going to be cool but we got a problem." I said. "No we don't. You need to get a damn grip and ease up tight ass. Life goes on and you need to suck it up and enjoy yours while your still here." She said seriously. The chef cleared his throat as we looked at him. "Mind your business." I told him as I moved us back to the living room. My mom started up the baby games and I relaxed a bit. Everybody was having a good time even me. After the games we all then ate some food. Once we got done eating I opened up all my gifts. Baby belies had clothes, shoes, pampers, and etc they went all out. Once I finished opening gifts I grabbed my gender reveal shooter and told everyone to meet me on the patio. They all rushed in excitement to find out the sex. Holding it, it let off and blue flew everywhere. Everyone was super excited as they hugged me. "I knew it." Cher said hugging me the tightest. No lie this the best day ever in a long time. Things went as planned and I truly enjoyed myself. Once we cleaned up everyone was getting ready to leave. Passing out cake I stood there all smiles. Then Gino who haven't spoke at all stood back while everyone else was leaving. No lie it made me super nervous. Considering the fact I didn't invite him to begin with he should of been the first somebody out the door. Looking at him he looked at me. "Here Rein I was holding this for you I hope you like it. I didn't want to put anybody's gift to shame." He said with a chuckle. Grabbing the gift bag I opened it up to find two jewelry boxes. My eyes lit up no he didn't try to go all out. Opening it up I found this gold chain with a locket attached to it with words craved inside of it. "Baby belies & mommy." It was so nice. I smiled I was impressed. Then I opened up the other box. It was two gold bracelets. One had baby belies on it and the other had Rein on it. My mouth dropped, he really didn't have to go through all that trouble. "You like it?" He asked. I was speechless. "Yes I love it. Thank you Gino." I said hugging him. He hugged me back. For a minute I stayed in his embrace. He smells so fucking good and his arms felt so safe to be in. Letting go I blushed as he looked at me. "I'm glad you like it love. I guess I'll get going I'll see you around." He said kissing my cheek and leaving out the door. Well damn I thought standing there in my thoughts. Once my house was back clean I looked at all my other gifts which were the housewarming gifts. From pots to pans all the way down to plants I was grateful. I cleaned up and got ready for bed. Laying down I was super exhausted and so overwhelmed. Laying there I then drifted off to sleep.
