Soul Land -Auxiliary System

Ning Rongbing, son of the former princess of Nine Treasured Glazed Tile Clan awakened a degraded martial spirit and was kicked out of the family. Along with his mother, he went to a different city and started to improve himself as a soul master to slap the faces of everyone who despised his mother about his birth. This was a fanfic of the novel Douluo Dalu by Tang Jia Shan Sho. The theme of the story follows the first series of the Douluo Dalu with some of my own elements. The world setting of this story was based on the donhua version of the novel: Soul Land and was dated to the years between the first and second books of Douluo Dalu. This was my first time writing fanfic so please forgive me for any mistakes and please help me improve myself with your comments and reviews. Chapters will be uploaded once every two days. Thanks for your support. You can also support me with a power stone as a token of appreciation. Thank you have a nice day.

Awakening

In the land of Douluo Dalu, the martial souls decide the future of a person. The martial soul can vary from a pen to a sword. It can be of anything.

Anyone to live in the world might awake a martial soul and today it was Ning Rongbing's turn to step into this awe-inspiring world.

"Ning Rongbing," a deep masculine voice echoed throughout the hall snapping him from his trance. Looking around he saw that he was next to go on stage.

The hall was very huge, nearly hundreds of people were standing and watching their children proudly. The chattering crowd became silent just by hearing this name.

From the crowd, a six-year-old boy with black hair and bright eyes walked to the stage. He was very energetic. Looking around the group he wasn't at all nervous. Pride, arrogance, fear, anxiety... nothing can be seen on his face but his steady footsteps made people feel him create a miracle.

Walking out of the crowd he walked onto the stage. A white-clothed elder was standing at the center of the stage while a few stone-like things were laid on the ground before him in a circle shape.

"Stand in the center of the circle," the elderly man invited him in a nonchalant way. Not paying a mind to his words he turned back to the crowd, laying his gaze on a woman. The gracious woman standing in the crowd adorned with clean and expensive clothes responded to his gaze with a smile and a nod.

Smiling back Ning Rongbing stepped inside the circle and closed his eyes.

The elder was slightly surprised by this behavior. He has awakened many children throughout the years but everyone will be very enthusiastic about their martial soul. Why does this kid doesn't show any reaction?

Having no idea, he started to circulate soul power and let it flow from his body.

Inside the circle, warmth filled Ning Rongbing's body. Opening his eyes he saw a golden ray enveloping him. Suddenly he felt the urge to open his right hand.

Raising his right-hand midair he opened his palm. Golden light surged from his palm, a beautiful three-story pagoda materialized in his hands.

The golden light dimmed and the glass-like pagoda appeared to everyone triggering a huge wave of noise from the crowd. There were laughter, boos, and many remarks from the crowd but Ning Rongbing didn't seem to mind and once again he turned to look at the crowd with the same energy but with a smiling face.

The woman in the crowd smiled back at him and slightly tilted her head indicating she was happy for him.

"Keep your hand on this ball and try to summon your martial soul again." The elderly voice sounded again but this time it had a hint of annoyance. To tell the truth, other than the woman who smiled at Ning Rongbing, none had a friendly look at him but ridicule. It was as if some evil being was punished.

Ning Rongbing extended his hands and touched the transparent ball and a faint light lit at the center of the ball. If not for the sharp look of the elder it would have gone unnoticed.

"Half level of soul power. You can cultivate to become a soul grandmaster," the elder stated impatiently and called for the next person. Left unanswered for his questions yet to be asked Ning Rongbing walked down from the stage.

Looking at everything in the huge room from the corner of his eyes he walked back to the woman who always smiled at him. Seeing him near the woman bend down and caressed his cheeks.

"Let's go," she said.

"Mm..." nodding to her he held her hand and walked out of the huge room.

"Mother, are you sad for me?" after coming out of the awakening room Ning Rongbing asked the woman accompanying him.

Ning Rongrong is a name that belongs to a powerful and former chief of the Nine Treasured Glazed Tile Pagoda Clan. She was the only one with the martial spirit Nine Treasured Glazed Tile Pagoda. When Ning Rongbing's mother was born she had innate full power, so the previous clan master named her the same name as the now Nine-Colored Goddess.

Ning Rongrong bend down to her son. "Little Rongbing, you have a bright future ahead. Why should I be sad for you?" she asked him smiling.

Hearing those words really calmed Ning Rongbing. Even if Ning Rongbing was only six Ning Rongrong knew he wasn't simple as he seems he is. He was smarter than people of his age so she have to be very careful if she wish to cheer him up. Useless talks like 'don't worry' will increase more pressure on him.

As a mother, she knew this more than anyone else. Want to cheer him up she acted as if she wasn't sad but her heart was fully covered with thorns. What kind of mother doesn't want to look at the future of her child? To be able to see the future just by a look was really painful.

The Nine Treasured Glazed Tile Pagoda was now actually just a Seven Treasured Glazed Tile Pagoda but still, it has seven stories. The number of stories on the pagoda indicates the number of levels you can cultivate. It wasn't the case for every martial soul but for a terrifying martial soul like this, there should be fairness. As for this fairness, only people with Nine Treasured Glazed Tile Pagoda were able to cultivate their martial souls till the end.

As for others, they should have to stop midway. Even though the cultivation reach bottleneck and will be unable to be cultivated no one in the continent would dare to neglect this martial soul. Even as a seventh-level martial soul it was comparable to a ninth-level martial soul.

Unfortunately for Ning Rongbing, he can't even cultivate a seventh-level martial soul. He was destined to be struck at the third level forever.

This one wasn't an instant idea by was inspired a long ago. After thinking for a long time I decided to write this story and show my thoughts to everyone. Thank you for your time. Have a nice day.
