Deep Concern

Deep within Death City, where the elite meisters resided, a new mission had surfaced—one that required the expertise and skills of Spirit Albarn and Marianne Albarn. It was a dangerous assignment involving an investigation deep within witch territory. The stakes were high, and the couple knew they had to face it head-on.

Endo's heart filled with worry and concern as word of their mission spread through Death's Kids orphanage. He couldn't shake off the unsettling feeling that something had happened to Marianne during Maka's early years, something that was not depicted in the anime version of their story. Though his suspicions were ungrounded, they grew stronger with each passing moment.

Endo, determined to protect his newfound family, approached Marianne and Spirit with his request.

Endo: "Please, let me go with you. I may not be as strong as you, but I can't sit here while you're in danger."

Marianne, taken aback by Endo's earnestness, immediately denied his request.

Marianne: "Endo, you're still young and inexperienced. This mission is far too dangerous for you."

Spirit, silently observing the interaction, wore a somber expression. Nevertheless, he understood Endo's concern and knew his request came from a real place.

Spirit: "Marianne, I think we should consider Endo's request. He has never asked for anything before, and his concern for our safety is genuine. Perhaps we can find a way to involve him without putting him in harm's way. He already has the strength of a 1-star meister at 8 years old. His stealth skill is just as strong as his combat ability."

Marianne hesitated, torn between her motherly instincts to protect Endo and her understanding of his unwavering determination. Finally, after contemplating, she reluctantly agreed, realizing that denying Endo might only fuel his worries further.

Marianne: "Alright, Endo. You can come with us, but promise me you'll stay close and follow our instructions."

Endo's face lit up with gratitude and determination. He understood the weight of his promise and vowed to do everything possible to assist without becoming a burden.

With their decision made, Spirit, Marianne, and Endo prepared for their mission. First, they arranged for Ryoku, Black Star, and Maka to be looked after by a trusted babysitter, ensuring their safety in their absence. The babysitter arrived, a responsible and caring individual who would provide the necessary care and attention to the children.

Endo felt a mix of nerves and excitement as the three left Death City. He knew the journey ahead would be perilous, but he was determined to make a difference. He had faith in Spirit and Marianne's abilities and believed that they could overcome any obstacle they encountered together.
