Kakuzu II

"AHAHHa!" My usual calm and expressionless face wasn't present. I could tell that Kakuzu was a strong opponent and this got my blood circulating.

It was also because I was so used to fighting with Jigen almost every day, but ever since I left I hadn't been able to let loose a bit. You could say that I was feeling sort of cooped up.

My battle-hungry attitude started to take over, but luckily I stopped myself.

I took a deep breath and calmed down my raging emotions. I deactivated my Susanoo and charged at Kakuzu with my sword in hand.

'What was that, a forbidden Jutsu that grants him a temporary shield, if so how long can he keep it active' all these thoughts were running through Kakuzu's head when he was pulled back into reality by my nearing figure.

He grabbed a kunai out of his ninja pouch and got into a defensive stance. We crashed into each other, I didn't use any of my Chakra coating techniques as I wanted to engage in a good fight, I didn't was to overpower him and win two easily because I liked a challenge.

We exchanged blows, with the frequent attack from his pets intervening, they were watching us and waiting for a chance to strike me without hitting Kakuzu.

It was clear who had the upper hand as Kakuzu was constantly getting pushed back. He had always been confident in his strength and body physique, but in this fight, I overpowered him in strength, perks of having my body strengthened from Jigens training, and the Chakra fruit.

Also, my smaller physique made me more nimble and maneuverable. It wasn't that I was small, as I was six foot, but compared to Kakuzu who was six foot and seven inches, I was a hard target to strike.

Jumping at Kakuzu I held my katana upside down in my hand and I did a downward slash. He blocked it with his kunai, so I twisted and sent a roundhouse kick straight to his head.

He parried the kick with his other arm, but I used this chance to spin in midair and send another kick to his chin. He flew back a few meters but thanks to his hardened and durable body he got over the kick and repositioned himself mid-air and landed on his feet sliding back a few meters.

using this moment when he was temporarily disabled, I shot a fireball at the animal that controlled the lightning element.

I did the hand seals with one hand in quick succession. 'Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu: Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu'.

I shot the flames out my mouth, his pet didn't have time to react and it destroyed the mask almost instantly.

'Did he find out the truth to my forbidden technique' Kakuzu felt one of his hearts get destroyed. 'He's too powerful I need to retreat'.

I saw Kakuzu hesitating and lost in thought, 'he's probably going to retreat' I could see it in his eyes, I was too great of a threat for him.

Kakuzu made up his mind and recalled his pet that controlled the wind elemental. Then I saw the animal that controlled the water element was charging up a strong attack.

I jumped back thinking that the attack was meant for me, but to my surprise, I saw Kakuzu jump up into the air and he crossed his arms across his chest ready to defend against something.

I then saw what he was planning to do, his animal shot a powerful jet stream of water at him, when he was was currently in mid-air.

Kakuzu took this attack head-on and was sent flying back. 'Ahah what a shameless bastard' I thought as I watched him fly away, to be honest, I was quite amused at his shamelessness.

While he was mid-air he also used his wind element animal to shoot a wide-area attack and propel him back further. He was pretty much flying at this point, pretty much like Team Rocket after having their ass handed to them by Pikachu.

I watched him slowly disappear into the sunset. I then turned my head to his water pet beside me. He stared at me practically waiting to be killed, because Kakuzu was too far to give it orders.

'Such a shameless bastard isn't worth my time' I quickly finished off his pet and sighed. 'Hmf, I thought he was something special to be able to survive against Hashirama, but I guess Hashirama probably had pitied his weak strength and let him go'.

I would say that Kakuzu was almost a low Kage level so compared to Hashirama, his strength was weak.

I sighed one more time before sheathing my katana and turning in the direction of Konoha. I still had about half a week until I would reach the borders of Konoha.

It was an enjoyable fight for the most part, but I had no use for weaklings like him who would run away at any chance they had when they saw they were losing.

I could have chased after him, but it would take time and effort. Also, I saw no point in doing so. I know he saw my Susanoo but I only used it for defense and at the weakest stage. Also, there aren't any records of me and the technique that I used so he wouldn't be able to find out even if he knew.

Besides I had other things to do, like reach Konoha and find out about my past, this was something that had been bothering me lately, and I was quite curious.

*At the borders of Konoha*

Minato teleported to where the recently found Kumosquad were, they consisted of Unruly A, Killer Bee, and their sensory ninja called Ronin.

Minato appeared, "wait that's the Yellow Flash, right," Ronin said, "then we've gotta get out of here".

"Rumours say that you are extremely fast yourself." The bright Yellow-haired man said. A took a fighting stance and got prepared.

Killer Bee had absolute confidence in his brother as he said "with brother and me, we're gonna get you, fool ya fool!".

Minato didn't waste any time, and he reached into his pouch and took out a handful of marked kunai and scattered them around the forest. "I'll take care of this he said to his teammates behind him"

A took this chance to try and catch Minato off guard with his speed, as he cloaked himself with lightning chakra, like Izunas ability, then he charged at Minato with his fist aimed at his head.

He was so fast all you could see was a streak of lightning heading for the yellow-haired man.

Minato was completely calm and watched as A's fist got closer to his face before he flicked up the kunai in his hand, and teleported to a different Kunai stuck in a tree.

He used the chakra on his feet to attach himself to the side of the tree like a frog. A's fist connected with air and he continued to travel, but what he didn't notice was the kunai that Minato threw up before he teleported, was directly behind him.

By the time he realized this, it was too late as Minato teleported back with the kunai raised above his head ready to bring it down.

Just as Minato was going to stab A, an octopus tentacle came flying out of know where and took the blow of the kunai instead, and it completely shocked Minato. This allowed both A and Minato to retreat to their groups.

The people behind Minato began to talk, "no way!" "Is he… the Eight Tails' Jinchuriki". They were all completely shocked.

The Jinchuriki, Killer Bee then spoke "this is child's play!" He was trying to act tough and not show his fear by spitting some terrible rhymes, "Eight Tails' is the cool Killer Bee…. that's me!".

Minato then turned around to look at them, "he possesses something more precious".

"Huh!" A was confused at Minato's change in attitude, one minute he was ready to kill him, then he was talking to them as if he didn't want to.

Then Minato said "Ay…. You have a fine family, if you don't figure out what your little brother considers most precious to him…. he will be neither Jinchuriki nor a human".

A didn't listen to this but took another chance to strike, not wanting to lose he charged up his chakra coat and thought 'if I can figure out which one he'll pop up at, I can get him using my top speed'. Then he charged at Minato again at top speed.

The same thing happened where A's fist was going to hit Minato, but he vanished. A then thought "Now! Which kunai will it be" and he began scanning the kunai lying around the forest trying to see where Minato would pop up next.

Minato did appear but to everyone's surprise, he appeared right behind Killer Bee with a kunai aimed at his head.

The sensory ninja Ronin saw this and was shocked, he then saw the teleportation seal on the tentacle that Minato cut before. "One the Eight Tails' tentacle…. There's a teleportation Jutsu Formula!".

When Minato stabbed Killer Bee's tentacle, he tagged him with a teleportation seal. This was the same seal that he had on his kunai. This seal allowed him to teleport between them, this technique was called the Flying Raijin Jutsu.

This Jutsu was created by the second Hokage called Tobirama Senju, but Minato was the one that perfected and finished this Jutsu. It was a rank-S Jutsu and the user had to have a high affinity with space-time Ninjutsu, this is why they are the only two people to learn this technique.

Killer Bee was shocked, but he was prepared and had a knife aimed at Minato behind his back.

They both paused for a second before Minato said "you are my foe…. But I like you. You definitely got the moves of a shinobi killer."

Minato retreated to his squad, and he and his team retreated, he had hoped that their small fight could act as a warning to Kumogakure not to get involved with the current war.

Minato wasn't a heartless shinobi that would take the lives of his enemies without reason, he himself had a wife and a team which he considered family, so he knew how precious they were to people. That's why both sides stopped the fighting and retreated.

Minato also retreated because if he killed the Raikages, son, it would start another fight and Kumogakure would join the war. Konoha was already at war with the two nations, Sunagakure and Iwagakure.

It would be problematic if a full fight happened between Kumagure and Konohagakure. So he didn't want to spill unnecessary blood if it could prevent a war.
