Solo Levelling: Perception

World: - Solo leveling Main heroine: - Sung Jinah Harem: - No **** A guy died and was granted skills and some mission to get reborn in the world where resides his fictional love and so he jumped without hesitation. He was trained to hone his skills and was left in the world of dungeons and monsters where death was as common as a daily sale. Yet, the boy found a way to live his leisurely life with his girl and see this world burn for all it could. ***** A/N: - This is a chill story and I would upload as much time as I get. No promises. There would be centric romance and would only turn harem if I get enough response. Skills would be cliche since I am not a true weeb but know my shit to write some decent fiction. English isn't my first language so expect some mistakes and if you want to criticize, then please make it worth checking. If I get enough responses, I would do a poll for harem members but no Cha Hae-In tho. Sung Jin Woo would die single that way.

Chapter 4- Sung Jinah!

"Haru...? Are you even listening to me?"

The time when I had my vision liberated, what greeted me was a beautiful Asian face I had seen before but the fact that it wasn't in reality but in a digital form told me that I indeed have reborn and come into this world.

It was a weird sensation to finally descend into this world but somehow I wasn't panicking. Maybe because of the training I was provided, but it also helped me to think and judge my surrounding.

Short black bob cut hair and a beauty mark under her left eye...yes, she was Han Song-Yi, one of the short appearances in the manhwa who was also the best friend of 'her'.

There were very less students around, considering that it must be lunch break or sort since there was no professor around. It took me time and thanks to my six eyes, I was able to think a minute's worth of thought in a moment.

First of all, I got memories of this body and they were pretty much acceptable and aligned to the best of what I could have asked.

I had no parents and I was a transferred student in the second year of high school. I was originally from Japan but lived my life in Seoul from the start and now was living alone and commuting to school full time without any major thing going on with my life.

I was not an anti-social kind of guy, the proof was this girl currently talking to me and with my good grades, I was fairly known in the school.

'Let's see.... '

Turning my gaze I saw the girl once again and found her cute, to be honest. I have read fiction in my past life but indeed seeing Song-Yi in real, I can tell, that the manhwa didn't do justice to her. But well considering she's only E-rank, I can't blame them, can I?

Recalling the thing we were talking about at the moment, I replied in a neutral tone, uncertain how I should be sounding.

"I am...but I am confused, why are you so obsessed to take me there as well? You know I don't do any hunter work right?"

It was weird for me to speak in Korean when I was never taught so in my past life or during my training, but following my instincts made it so natural that I believed I always has been a Korean native.

In this world, I was awakened just like Song-Yi but never got evaluated since I had no previous hunter working experience as per the world's knowledge and in actuality, this body has never killed anything in the past.

I have no idea why my past self never took interest in hunter's work even though I had this vast mana surging currently, but not like I would be maintaining this no-kill streak.

"Why am I obsessed you say...because they pay freakin 3 million for nothing but just to wait outside some random gate. I can't invite non-awakener and you are my good friend, that's why I proposed."

Even though she tried to hide it by turning her face, the small bulge on her cheek didn't go unnoticed as Son-Yi complained. She was basically nagging me to come over to a place where a rich businessman's son was offering money to picnic outside a dungeon gate and nothing else.

Well, it explains that the plot was at the grinding phase of the protagonist Sung Jin-Woo. And Yoo Jinho must be the sponsor of these trips and manager of the funding to the leisure heads who were assigned to fulfill the clause of the minimum requirement to venture into a dungeon.

That means Jin-Woo must be close to his Class selection and from where the main plot would begin.

"Umm...when is the parents-teacher meet again?"

I asked casually like I forgot about the date which made the girl make a dumb face because of the sudden shift in topic. But to merge every detail of my past, I needed time and peace which could only be provided in a secluded location, not here.

Song-Yi gazed at me for a long second before she replied in an uncertain tone.

"It's...tomorrow. But why are you asking this suddenly?"

My brows instinctively rose as I concluded that Jin-Woo must be already in the dungeon to get his necromancer class and have Igrit in his army. It was one heck of a moment to see the two fight but I have no way to interfere with the system so I would just stay put.

Returning my gaze to the girl who was still confused, I spoke in an amused tone.

"Be prepared, since the teacher is going to have a word about your hunting job."

The classes were about to resume so those who went outside to have their lunch or just hang out with their friends, returned in a haste to not get scolded by the teacher.

Just like others, a certain brownish-black-haired girl with a cylinder figure walked inside the classroom and began walking toward her seat which was by the window in the first row.

"Hey, Jinah. Where were you all the time?"

Someone called for the girl who goes by her full name, Sung Jinah before Jinah replied with a wry smile.

"Just went to make a call."

Responding to her best friend Han Song-Yi, Jinah thought about the call she made to her brother but to no avail, since his phone was unreachable. Since she has gotten used to this because of his hunting jobs, Jinah didn't bother for long.

'Again...why... '

Passing by a certain desk where sat a particular individual with a black fabric tied around his eyes, Jinah felt a weird sensation for some reason.

This transfer student... Haruka Nanase...was someone who made Jinah slightly uneasy since she had a feeling that behind those blindfolds he was able to see everything and whenever she went across him, he would look at her for some reason.

By nature, Haru wasn't a bad kid since Jinah talked to him on several occasions, and given his grades, Jinah really liked to talk to him about studies and stuff. But still, this sensation of being eyed behind some dark curtains was somehow disturbing.

'What am I whining at...not like he looks at me only.... '

Shrugging off her thoughts, the girl made her way to her seat and opened the book for the following class to have a look over the content which would be taught.

She was particularly not interested in any guy or girl other than her best friend, but this particular boy Haru was simply mysterious for Jinah to entirely ignore.

But the fact that she had various things already going on with her life, didn't allow Jinah to think anything otherwise. She just wanted to do her best and make her mother and brother proud.

'I should check on mom after school... '

Little did the girl know that her uncaring behavior toward that mysterious guy was about to shift so drastically, that all she would be able to think would be about him...
