Son Kihoon, the captain of Hunters Guild's second raid team has never felt death from this close.
They have somehow defeated a bunch of high orcs just now with the help of some external source who chose to not show up their identity, but now, there are over fifty high orcs ready to slay the team the very next moment.
All the mages were damaged by the curse magic the boss monster of the red gate used and the healer wasn't in the condition to patch them up. Almost every team member was tattered and in no place to fight these A-rank monsters.
[Krrgh...choose...follow my men....or die by them...]
The dungeon boss who was talking through this soldier gave the team tank and leader a proposal. Something Kihsoon couldn't decline even though his team members were reluctant.
How can he fight these many monsters when he originally wasn't able to deal with one of them until that mysterious assistance appeared?
In the end, Kihsoon yielded, "We will follow you."
Lost in hopes, he could do nothing but follow the monstrosities.
"Mr. Hunter." Addressing the porter whose name Kihsoon remembered to be Sung Jin-Woo, the raid captain continued, "Once we reach near the boss we would strike with our all and that would be enough for the boss to waver in his spell over the gate. I want you to make a run for it and inform the main raid team."
The guild master and the vice-guild master are the last hope to deal with this dungeon.
"By the time, the main team would arrive, all of you would be dead. Are you planning to throw your life?"
The porter asked something which was completely natural to question but Kihsoon already have thought about it which brought his answer without any hesitation.
"We are hunters who get paid to risk our lives. So this can be counted as a part of our job."
Naturally, no one would sign for such gruesome death that these orcs could bestow but Kihsoon was blessed with such a team who was in this with him without a single protest.
Well, protesting wouldn't have helped them either.
"Please take this with you and hand it over to my family. It's my will, so please keep it safe." The healer of the team requested something of her personal interest as the group made its way deeper into the dungeon.
"What the hell is this place...?!" Someone muttered from the group and such a reaction was natural to have when something this unbelievable appears out of the range of expectancy.
A whole court field with more than a thousand high orcs was crowding the either side of the aisle and the throne was occupied by a huge high orc that easily reached the highest degree in the ranks.
'These many can easily destroy a massive part of the main town until the main team arrives... '
Kihsoon gaze sharpened as a resolve formed inside his mind. They at least need to strike the boss so the Porter could report the attack force.
However...
[Do you fear me, humans?]
Terror.
It was all the raid captain could feel as for a second he felt that death could have been better than experiencing this.
The sheer magic force the boss was excluding was overwhelming enough to bring the raid team to their knees.
"Why...? Why did you bring us here when your men could have killed us back then?"
Kihsoon asked with his trembling tongue somehow able to form words and shout them out.
However, he never expected the answer to be this... repulsive.
[For entertainment. I just wanted to have someone to perform a good show for my men.]
**ROAR**
The cheer from the crowd or the slow muttering of the boss didn't matter to Kihsoon anymore. The fact that they were being treated like mere toys was annoying enough to provide him with the adrenaline he required.
"Don't screw with me!!!"
Shouting at the top of his lungs, the raid captain marched forward. He was aware that due to being terrified his team members were not following him but it was too late to turn back now.
'It's now or never...huh? '
Advancing toward the boss, suddenly Kihsoon had to halt his feet since an unexpected arrival of a young boy obstructed his path.
"Now, now. Let's not be hasty, alright?"
Kihsoon was bewildered seeing the relaxed expression of the boy who was strangely wearing black glasses inside the dungeon!
How weird this kid could be?!
"Step aside! This is not a place you should b-"
"So, you finally decided to show up, huh..."
Before Kihsoon could have finished his words, a familiar voice resounded from his right. It was the porter, Sung Jin-Woo.
"Well, can't remain dormant forever, right? And these guys look quite beaten up to put up any interesting fight."
"Haru...you shouldn't be rude to them."
"Yeah, yeah."
Kihsoon couldn't comprehend what's been happening all of a sudden. A moment ago he was on his way to risk his life and now these two men were conversing like this place was some kind of cafe where they were hanging out without any reason to feel stressed at all.
"Hey, what-" Kihsoon didn't get to complete his words when the younger boy interrupted.
"Team Captain, Son Kihsoon. This is a one-time offer so think carefully-"
Kihsoon eyes widened since one of the high orcs from near suddenly raised its battle axe to strike the boy. The speed of the assault was so quick that Kihsoon was unable to shout to alert the boy at all.
However, against what he thought the battle axe didn't travel toward the boy after a certain distance. Like it was frozen some inches away from the boy's head.
The said boy casually lifted his arm and with a simple strike with the back of his clenched fist, destroyed the high orc into hundreds of bits and pieces.
'H-how...terrifying... '
Kihsoon didn't get to remain shocked at the overwhelming strength of the boy since the said party soon proposed his offer.
"Can I clean this dungeon up, in your stead?"
Without even realizing Kihsoon found himself nodding his head.
In the end...he was too powerless to do anything rather than rely on someone else.

After the raid captain return to his comrades, Haru could be seen slightly stretching his body, like he was preparing to go full combat mode.
"How about it, sunbae? You get the right side and I get the left. The one who finishes first would treat the dinner?"
Jin-Woo raised his brows at the confidence of the young man which might have felt a little over the board if not for the strength Haru just displayed.
"But what about that one? Would it let us kill its men just like that?" Pointing his thumb at the boss, Jin-Woo asked.
Jin-Woo was intending to let his shadow soldiers fight the mob while he takes on the boss. Since this boss was more powerful than any of the bosses he has faced in the demon castle, Jin-Woo felt this might be the right opportunity to gauge his limits.
However, what transpired next made even Jin-Woo perplexed.
"Well, you don't have to worry about that one. Until it doesn't move, no spell of that thing would reach us."
True to his words, the dungeon boss has been sitting on the throne with a troubled expression for some time now, seemingly unable to do anything.
Jin-Woo decided to keep an eye on the boss as he accepted Haru's challenge.
"I am craving some sushi tonight."
"I know the right place sunbae but that might be a little heavy on your wallet. How about..."
From afar the hunter team couldn't believe that these two were planning dinner at a place like this.
However, soon the raid team would realize why these two seemed so casual about this situation from the start...
