Solo Levelling: Perception

World: - Solo leveling Main heroine: - Sung Jinah Harem: - No **** A guy died and was granted skills and some mission to get reborn in the world where resides his fictional love and so he jumped without hesitation. He was trained to hone his skills and was left in the world of dungeons and monsters where death was as common as a daily sale. Yet, the boy found a way to live his leisurely life with his girl and see this world burn for all it could. ***** A/N: - This is a chill story and I would upload as much time as I get. No promises. There would be centric romance and would only turn harem if I get enough response. Skills would be cliche since I am not a true weeb but know my shit to write some decent fiction. English isn't my first language so expect some mistakes and if you want to criticize, then please make it worth checking. If I get enough responses, I would do a poll for harem members but no Cha Hae-In tho. Sung Jin Woo would die single that way.

Chapter 21- New game?

"Despite you saying it like that but you won't be making me any divine being right?"

Haru was clearly told and still remembers that the goddess told him to choose skills that wouldn't raise the bar high enough to match her existence. Haru didn't know what the goddess' actual strength was but on an average scale, he thought it might be above Anos Voldigoad or maybe she was a truly omnipotent being?

In all honesty, Haru himself didn't seek godhood either since he knew how boring it would be to become almighty and such. He just needed some more strength and abilities to deal with the upcoming catastrophe and live a happy normal life.

[True, you won't ascend since your desire doesn't lie in that part of reality that you might have been able to attain.]

Haru didn't comment on that but was somewhat surprised to hear that he has the potential to become a divinity. Letting the silence as a cue, Haru heard the blond beauty continuing.

[The Gates which have been assigned for the Chosen One would assist you to become something better and more prepared for the calamity which would befall your world and might bring risk to The Supreme One's wishes which they seek from you to be fulfilled.]

Haru knew the almighty deity or whatever, who made his reincarnation possible, had some motive behind providing Haru with this wonderful new life, and in all honesty, Haru was kind of unprepared for it. Well, it was a mission from the one above all so it was destined to go down hardcore.

But the Gates the blondie in front talking about was still a mystery. Fortunately, Haru didn't have to wait to gain the full knowledge, as the being in front continue.

[Ten stages, ten prominent skills. Each stage would provide you with a scenario and you would be given a task to fulfill with enough time slot and all your skills intact. Once you fail a mission, the skill attached to that phase would no longer be available for you to have your hands on. So I request, The Chosen One, please be discreet with your decision and only step through the doors when you really find yourself in a position to go for the absolute victory.]

That was the last of the words Haru heard before his consciousness began fading or better to say, his mind began to wake up the source of light draped over his lids, bringing a frown over his head before the teen finally walked out of his mindscape.

Sitting on the bed, Haru rubbed his eyes which were still slightly drowsy. The Six Eyes worked as diligently as ever, with his perception growing exponentially but by now Haru has gotten used to it so he didn't rush for his blindfolds and checked the weird mail sign hanging in the corner of his vision.

'Ugh...don't tell me, this is some BS system or sort... '

Without even assessing it Haru knew this mail notification was something not physically could be touched but rather needed a command to be pried into.

Haru didn't ponder on it much and numbly murmured, "Open mail" before the notification took a larger portion of the six eyes wielder's vision. The image drew closer before a popup prompted and a screen with light green illumination showed up...

[Gates of Divination]

[Purpose: To strengthen the Chosen One]

[Stages: 0/10]

[Skills obtained: 0/-]

[Festures/Cautions: -

1. Once the host enters a stage, there would be no way to retreat until either the Host decided to forfeit the stage or completes the objective. Once a stage is aborted, the skills it carries would never be available for the Host to attain.

2. The host can take any one companion with them on the missions but if the said companion assists the host in the objective when there is caution with the stage which forbids any external assistance, then it might hinder host's progress.

3. If the Host dies in any of the stages then one of the skills would be erased by the Host's choice.

4. Any weapon is allowed.

5. There would be a period allotted for the host to prepare and decide his course of the plan after he enters the gate and gets notified of his mission and the scenario in which he has to finish the job. The preparation period may vary from 30 minutes to three hours.

6. The skills obtained through Gates would not only be applicable to the Host but to anyone or anything regardless of their attribute or race.]

[Floor 1: The Sky Descendents]

[Difficulty: Normal]

[Suggestion: None]

"Hmm..." Haru hummed as he read all the information along with the features he got. The last one was intriguing but he didn't ponder on it for now. The concerning factor was the death penalty which made Haru ponder on the situation of 'what if'.

If he really ends up dying out there then what skill he would most likely give away...better if he doesn't think about it since Haru had no intention of losing anything and only to gain from this new game, the Goddess has created for him.

As for the companion part, then it was no hiding that the first and only person who came into his mind was a certain beautiful teenager who he was going to see today. But because Jinah was just a normal human, Haru didn't think it would be ideal to ask about it. It was too damn risky.

"Difficulty normal huh..."

Haru pondered a bit as a thought emerged soon after. The idea was to dive into high-ranking dungeons and see if the difficulty goes down. But since those years of practice were only able to bring him to the normal difficulty stage then what a couple of dungeons would change?

'Well, not like it's gonna hurt... '

Haru shrugged off the matter for a later period as he got up from the bed and went to get ready for his library date(?) with Jinah. They have decided to meet at twelve and it was already eleven which made Haru rather startled since he barely slept this long.

*****

Entering the public library was never a hard part for anyone except for the socially depressed ones but as soon Haru walked in, his body froze, and his usual demeanor dimmed quite a lot.

Reason for the sudden change?

Well, the woman Haru has ever allowed himself to love was currently smiling. Well, it was a good thing since Jinh's smile always made him feel refreshed. But the fact that this smile was caused by a random guy who was sitting just beside her with their shoulders touching...yeah, his mood was ruined.

'I wonder how being a murderer feels like~'

A/N: - Now people will comment Creep, and yeah, he is. But people don't complain when a woman go all yandere. I mean every man has a possessive side to them, well most have and in this fic, I am for the first time writing it down from a male's perspective of how it seems to be yandere.

If you are wondering then no, I am a guy and still find it no strange writing male yandere. I mean it's kinda off but I find it cool as well for being possessive to someone you truly love.

Don't try this in real life tho...
