Solo Levelling: Perception

World: - Solo leveling Main heroine: - Sung Jinah Harem: - No **** A guy died and was granted skills and some mission to get reborn in the world where resides his fictional love and so he jumped without hesitation. He was trained to hone his skills and was left in the world of dungeons and monsters where death was as common as a daily sale. Yet, the boy found a way to live his leisurely life with his girl and see this world burn for all it could. ***** A/N: - This is a chill story and I would upload as much time as I get. No promises. There would be centric romance and would only turn harem if I get enough response. Skills would be cliche since I am not a true weeb but know my shit to write some decent fiction. English isn't my first language so expect some mistakes and if you want to criticize, then please make it worth checking. If I get enough responses, I would do a poll for harem members but no Cha Hae-In tho. Sung Jin Woo would die single that way.

Chapter 14- Protective brother?

A/N:- I have read Solo leveling Novel and manhwa both but the prior one only once so I don't remember detailed information. I am currently following the manhwa for the fiction so there would be things that would go against the novels since in manhwa there were things that were not thoroughly described and I would be using those to write my own further scene. Anyway, enjoy the chapter and leave comments and if you are liking the story, then leave a review as well.

-----------------------------***-----------------------------

Early in the morning, a tall young man could be seen wearing a deep-neck t-shirt over a pair of black trousers which had a white strip running vertically on the sides. His handsome features and sharp grey eyes currently looked at the scene in front in surprise as he voiced out his thoughts with a sigh.

"You took a cab in those...? I was thinking of picking you up."

Upon hearing Jin-Woo's reaction to his current outfit, the young man with brownish custard-shaded hair which was trimmed at the lower end on either side, responded in his all-time ambitious tone.

"How can I make Hyung-nim come pick me up when you are already helping me this much? Let's depart now~"

Hearing his sponsor, Yoo Jinho's response, Jin-Woo felt like sighing once again. Just what is with that helmet and ladder like a bag on Jinho's back? Not like they were raiding some high-level gate.

"Wait, we have to take someone... actually two people with us."

Hearing his hyung's reply, Jinho tilted his head in confusion before jerking his equipment bag to get a better grip as he opened his mouth to ask whom they have to take when suddenly, a voice popped right beside Jinho.

"I hope I am not late..."

"Hiick!"

Jinho jumped like a scared kitten from his spot and rotated his body to see who suddenly spoke up when Jinho didn't sense anyone approaching.

There stood a cool-looking teenage boy, younger than Jinho, wearing an oversized black t-shirt that looked actually good on him and a pair of black jogging trousers along with a pair of white sneakers. Although the boy looked good in the outfit, what piqued Jinho's attention was the blindfold obscuring the boy's vision.

Jin-Woo yet again noted that Haru could walk within someone's blind spots but this time, he was able to track the blindfolded boy's movement.

Considering Haru's physique and nondetectable movements, Jin-Woo concluded that he must be suited for an assassin class. Jin-Woo still had no idea what those blind foods do but in today's raid, he would evaluate everything about the boy.

"Haruka, this is Yoo Jinho. My raid partner and friend. And Jinho, he is Haruka Nanase. Jinah's friend."

"Oh, so you are a high schooler huh? Well, hyung-nim if you have told me then I could have made room for another person in the raid team."

Jinho considered that Haru was also one of those who wanted to have the reward for being counted as a person involved in the raid. But Jin-Woo's shaking head made the equipped guy, confused.

"Haruka would not be included in the outsiders, Jinho. He will be raiding with us, today."

****

"Good morning Oppa-wait! Haru?! Why are you here?"

The next stop where the van halted was near an apartment complex where Song-Yi lived. Since she was also involved in the raids, Jin-Woo decided to give her a lift.

But entering the car, the girl was greeted by an unexpected person sitting at a side and waving at her.

"I am also participating in today's raid."

Song-Yi blinked once and twice before she smiled and climbed inside to sit beside Haru, opposite Jin-Woo.

"Were you able to see last night, Song-Yi?"

"Not really. After all, it was a new experience last night for me."

"Well, get some rest in the car for now."

The conversation between Jin-Woo and Song-Yi was something that the two and Haru who already know the plot, were able to understand. But the driver who was ignorant about the raid in which the two participated last night, was having a near seizure hearing all the misleading words.

Turning his face stiffly, Jinho spoke in a stutter, with his face devoid of human shade.

"Hyung-nim...Han Song-Yi is a minor you know right?"

Jin-Woo tilted his head in confusion but soon dismissed Jinho by telling him to focus on the road. Even Song-Yi was unable to comprehend why Jinho suddenly brought up her age in the matter all of a sudden.

As for Haru, then he was just inwardly sighing at how ignorant people can be for the things they say.

"That reminds me...I heard from oppa that you and Jinah were on a date yesterday?"

Song-Yi poked Haru with her elbow as she raised the query, with a cheeky grin spreading her lips. She knew that Haru had a thing for Jinah considering how attentive the boy was toward her, but in the past months, Haru never tried to take any initiative toward her.

But now when Song-Yi just dropped out of school temporarily, a love story was already on the way to budding.

"Well, you can say that was a date but we were unable to shop for anything. Maybe we will go sometime the next weekend."

Jin-Woo narrowed his gaze at Haru for a second which the latter totally ignored since it was not like Haru was going to ask Jin-Woo's permission for something like this. Not like he was going to marry Jinah without telling her brother so it was cool.

Song-Yi raised her brows at how fluent and unwavering Haru sounded even though he was talking about the person whose brother was just right in front of them.

"Then...where is Jinah. At home?"

Jin-Woo was about to respond when suddenly Haru interjected.

"She's studying at the library near the school. I will join her in the evening."

Jinah called Haru to ask whether he could join her in studies but since Haru had to go with Jin-Woo, he had to sadly reject her. It was disheartening for Haru to hear the slight disappointment in Jinah's voice when he denied the proposal but he had to go with Jin-Woo today for some unspoken reason.

Thankfully, Jinah seemed a lot better than yesterday, more so when Haru promised to meet her in the evening.

"We have four raids remaining to do today. I think it's better to tell Jinah the truth that you won't be joining her today."

Jin-Woo's grim voice made Song-Yi and Jinho's startled as they subconsciously straightened their back. And indeed the current Jin-Woo was anything but seemed pleased with what Haru said earlier.

However, the person in question was not affected in the slightest as with a smile he spoke in a serene tone.

"Don't worry about the time, sunbae. After all, I am stronger than I seem."
