Monarch's Scheme

A few hours ago, a large amount of social media chat throughout the Korean server, spreading the rumors about a mysterious boy was founded Inside the Gate, alive within, without any harm to him.

The people are starting to wonder if the rumors they've heard were all true. At night they were massaging each other on social media talking about rumors they heard.

-Have you heard the rumors

-What rumor?

-About a normal kid who was inside a Gate filled with strong monsters

-That rumor, I had a hard time believing that, is that even true?

-I don't know man if it's true then... the kid must be lucky, he must be able to survive inside a Gate by himself

-I don't know man sometimes rumors are just rumors, there not true, if it's true then the kid must be lucky

-I know right, if I were there am dead by now

-Come on Guys those are not true, sometimes people have given us false information about it and it spread the whole of South Korea with lies, Man stop believing lies even though, there not true

-What if it's true just like Sung Jin-woo Rumor, who was awakened E-rank to S-Rank Hunter, and now everyone believes that Sung jin-woo became the strongest hunter in the whole world and now... Is that the kid was founded Inside a Gate

The Rumors grow intense, more and more people spreading them to the whole of South Korea about a certain rumor.

At the office of the Ahjin Guild, Yo jin-ho the vice guild master of Ahjn guild, read the comments from social media on his computer, talking about the most top and hot topics throughout the Korean server.

He began to be curious and kept reading the whole massages while waiting for someone to arrive here and then...

Someone appeared behind him. The boy didn't notice a thing due to his curiosity, reading the comments. The man behind him said something to him.

"Hey, Jin-ho what are you reading?"

"AAAAAAHH HYUNG-NIM!!..."

"Sorry I didn't do it on purpose"

"Hyung-nim don't scare people like that, it's creepy"

"What?"

"Where did you've come from anyway Hyung-nim?"

"I was raiding a Red Gate"

"A Red Gate?!"

"Yeah, you don't have to worry about that"

"No am not worried about you, well your capable of doing anything, well your skills and abilities are off the chart so I have no worries about it"

"Did I interrupt something important?"

"Information? " he said in confusion.

"it's about a rumor... they found something inside a Gate"

"A rumor? What did they find inside a Gate, is it an Item?" The Shadow Monarch asks.

" No, Hyung-nim, it's not an item it's a person, and not only that, it's a boy"

The monarch's eyebrows raised high across his forehead while his mouth hang. He had a hard time believing it so he said.

"A kid founded Inside a Gate hah?"

"I know right it sounded weird for once but now am curious"

"Jin-Ho, What else do you know?"

"Well the Kid was founded Inside a B-Class Gate"

"B-Class Gate hah... it's similar to my father. who was founded Inside the A-Class Gate at the last scene of U.S.A" Sung jin-woo thoughts. thinking both similar incidents were peculiar suspicious due to his father returned as a monster from the but this time it's very different on what they found inside the gate, it was a boy.

"What else?" the Monarch asks.

"Well, they say that the hunters inform the association..."

"Wait the association?" he was surprised.

"Yes, why?"

"Wait for a minute ok"

The door creaked when he pushed the door going somewhere.

"OK Hyung-nim"

The S-rank male hunter left from Ahjin guild and called out the Chairman of the Hunter Association walking at night for fresh air. He strolls among the crowd side street, staring at his phone waiting to be answered. Some people perceive notice at the man in a hood leading to elsewhere then it came.

"Hunter Sung Jin-Woo? Why are you calling me at this hour?" the Chairman asks.

"I have meaning to ask you something? " The Shadow monarch response.

"Oh, really is it because of the rumor"

"You catch on quickly"

"Well they did inform the association first and then the guild"

"What guild? "

"It was the Hunters guild, Hunter Sung"

" Ok, then what"

"They say... they found him lying behind the giant crystal but suddenly they were afraid"

"Afraid?"

"According to the report from the hunters, When the time they didn't know the identity of the boy. they say it was a dark small figure with a shadowy aura lurking among the darkness itself"

"Shadowy?"

"What is the matter, Hunter Sung?"

"Nothing"

"Well... probably just some illusion what the hunters encounter him so probably true or false"

"Haha think about it"

"OK then, is there anything else? "

" Did you find his parents perhaps? "

"We did track his family but we have no clue who is the owner of this boy"

"Seriously"

"Yes... We were looking for his information all this time. there was no trace of any information coming from this victim with no birth certificate at all"

"It sounds to me that kid has to be a monster"

"No worries, the kid is confirmed human said by the doctors"

"How old is he anyway? Chairman" Sung jin-woo ask.

"Two years old or so, hunter Sung"

"Are you joking?"

"No am not, am serious"

The Hooded man remain silent from his phone looking arousing to his serious eyes. he said.

"This is definitely strange don't you think"

"Yes it is... why would anyone left a boy inside a gate at such age"

"I'm gonna find out soon enough"

The chairman went silent while listening to his said inconspicuous way. 

"So where is the kid held captive?"

"They brought him to the Hunters guild building"

"At this time?"

"Yes"

"Are they planning to babysit him without knowing...why didn't you take him as custody?" the Monarch said.

"Well...It was my employee mistake for giving him back to the guild"

"I see,  it was first-timers, who joined your association last week Isn't"

"Perhaps you can say that way"

"Ok then... did Choi jong-in knows this?"

"Yes we did called him a few hours ago then later on now we have no answer yet"

"He must be sleeping"

"Hahaha, you're right about that... So do you have other questions, Hunter Sung?"

They ended the call. Sung Jin-Woo was very curious about the kid so he called his summons.

"Arise"

6 shadows came out from his shadow while kneeling before him.

"I want you guys to look where the kid is we're being held... If you found him tell me"

The shadows nodded

"Alright, don't forget about the original order I have given you guys... Now get started"

The Shadows start sprinting to the surrounding area while hiding among the shadows.

"Well I should be heading home it's already late, I'll text Jin-ho to go home, he's been working hard recently well good thing I have a good friend... Shadow exchange"

...Morning...

Early in the morning, the blonde woman slowly woke up from her slumber on her bed till she saw a boy sleeping beside her, staring and said.

"Mama"

 She was very uncomfortable being called mom coming from a boy she doesn't know. Her frustrated mood came out from her head erupt towards her guild master for forcing her to do it.

"Damn you sir!" her thoughts.

She left her bed with the boy proceeding to the kitchen preparing for a meal. then she notices that a first-timer woman who doesn't know how to feed a baby boy. 

"Actually how do mothers feed their children, cuz I'm a first-timer for taking a boy with me just to babysit umm.." She grabs her phone and search.

She searches on Google for baby boy needs. She kept scrolling to her phone until she know the answer so she decided to go to the grocery store with him this early. 

"Alright then..."

She moved her feet going to the shower but a notice occurred to her mind.

"Come to think of it. How long was he stuck there? I think I need to take him a shower and a change of clothes" her thoughts.

The pretended mother took him in and strips his clothes. She wrapped his body with a towel in his waist while doing the same thing to herself. (Hah suckers N/A:p)

"Alright kid, Let's take bath ok because we're buying groceries this early"

He nodded.

Both of them take a shower together cleaning their dirty stench away from their bodies. 

... Few minutes have passed...

The woman and the boy walk on the street this early morning, searching for the nearest grocery store as possible.

The woman wore her white plain shirt, blue jeans, and a pair of pink rubber shoes while the boy wore the same clothes as usual.  Both of them found a Grocery store and went inside. 

Ding!, Dong!

The moment they enter and grab the basket. People saw a female hunter buying a grocery with a kid passing by. They whisper to each other while looking at them.

"Is that Hunter Cha hae-in?"

"Yeah?"

"And who's that kid with her?"

"Maybe her nephew? "

"Hunter Cha doing groceries with a kid? "

"They look adorable together don't you think"

The people continued to whisper to each other about them. The S-rank female hunter Didn't mind at all the opinion of all the people what they think about them. 

Later that time, Her mind pop out of nowhere, She remembered that she didn't know what's the name of this nameless boy, she ask.

"Sorry for asking, what is your name? I've just forgotten to tell me about your name on our way"

The boy look at her. he was very silent and didn't answer with a confused look so he look away with no reply.

"So you don't have..."

She noticed something on his back of his jacket, a trace of word behind near his hoodie so she look closely then She saw a name written on it.

"Su-ho? "

The boy looks at her again.

"So that's your name Su-ho"

Su-ho nodded repeatedly.

"What a wonderful name you have there Su-ho" she smiles beautifully and is sweet.

His eyes glow like sparkle the moment she smiles. Back then in the future, his mother was smiling like that like the sun and she was very beautiful too. So he smiled like he usually does, He said.

'Mama'

"What is it?"

Su-ho pointed out what he wanted. She stare in the pointed direction. The young boy wanted milk.

"Milk?"

She doesn't know the specific kind of milk for children because she's quite inexperienced when it comes to this kind of stuff so she didn't know what to do.

"Is that what you want? "

He nodded.

"OK then?"

She was about to grab the milk but an unexpected encounter from someone, she feels familiar with grabbed the same thing.

"Oh! it seems we're after the same thing" The older woman said.

"Yeah it was a coincidence isn't it, "Cha hae-in said.

The moment they stare at each other, they felt awkward and familiar with knowing this person.

"Oh, why do I have a feeling that I know you from somewhere?" The older woman asks

"I have the same feeling as you do" the female hunter answered.

" Oh, Really?" the woman replied.

"Yes," the blonde woman said.

"So you also wanted this too? "The woman said.

"Well... yes for him actually"

"Oh... I didn't know you have a son?"

"He's not my son, His my nephew"

"Oh, I see... sorry about that, I was just jumping on conclusions"

"It's ok mam"

"So is it ok for him to drink this kind of milk? "

The woman glance at her current situation and said.

"I see... it's your first time babysitting a boy are you?"

"Well, the moment I saw you, your quite inexperienced when it comes to children... Don't worry I'll gladly help you"

The woman pick the best choice of milk and gave it to her.

"Here... This is the type of milk for him, only pure milk no sugar"

"Thank you, Mam... sorry for the trouble I caused you"

"Don't mention it, my dear, I'm just helping out another fellow mother that's all"

"Mother?... Am not-"

Another unexpected someone ran forward at both women talking to each other in a friendly way. The girl in uniform shouted at them.

"Mom! "

"What is it dear?"

"Let's go, am going to be late for school"

"Ok let's go then..."

She noticed the woman beside her.

"WOWOWOW IS THAT HUNTER CHA HAE-IN!" the girl in school uniform shouted.

"Pardon?"The older woman asks.

"Do I know you from somewhere?" she asks.

"Nope... but however you're very close to my Oppa"

"Oppa?"

"Well to tell you the truth am Sung Jin-woo's little sister, Jin-ah," She said with a smirk.

"Really?!"

"You know her very well Jin-ah," the woman said.

"Of course, Everyone knows her mom because she is an S rank Hunter, The best female hunter in Korea, Cha hae-in"

"Really so that's why I feel awkward all the sudden," The Woman said.

"And not only that Mom, She was also dating Oppa at the park last week"

"Oh," She grin.

"It's not like that" *Blushing*She became flustered when jin-ah said it.

"I didn't know my son has a girlfriend? So young and gorgeous..." The Mother asks.

"Ummm... Am not... Not... his... Girlfriend, we're just friends that's all" *Blushing*

"Really, to me you're the perfect match with my Oppa"

Then another encounter was coming to the women but this time it's the same person who has the army of shadows with him and the older brother of jin-ha.

He heard the conversation between women so he pinch his sister's cheeks at her face.

"SUNG JIN-WOO IS HERE TOO!"She said in her thoughts.

"Ow, ow, ow!"

"don't tease her like that," he said.

"Son don't pinch your sister like that"

"Sorry Mom, It was very unpleasant to tease someone, who she doesn't know"

"Hey Stop it! you could kill me accidentally if you don't let go of your hand"

"Here"

He frees his hand to her face.

"Hey it was very dangerous to use your hand to pinch your own sister, your gonna get me killed, Oppa"

"Don't worry I won't hurt you"

An unexpected voice came in front of him.

"Hi Sung," She said in nervous.

"Hey Cha" He puts his hands behind his head while the other arm puts it on his waist also nervous.

Both of them were nervous to see each other. They even have a hard time speaking. Then his mom notices something about the two.

"Both of you are really a couple" she grin.

"Mom it's not like that" he replied.

"Hey Jin-woo, You were buying Groceries with your family"

"yeah. ... you?"

"Yeah am as well"

"Really who was it?"

The man looks behind the blond woman and notices a child on a cart minding his own business by playing with his teddy bear.

"Is it him you talking about"

"yeah"

"There's something off about him, it's like am watching my own aura to my mirror "his thoughts

"Oh is that your secret Child or something"

"Jin-ah do you want to get pinch again" 💢

"Mom protects me from this horrible monster name Oppa" she hides immediately behind her mother's back.

"💢"

"If I heard it correctly, you supposed to go to school right?"

"OH YEAH... MOM LET'S GO!"

"Ok, ok don't shout when we're at the grocery store... Cha hae-in if you ever wanted to visit our house your welcome at any time, ok"

"Ok, I'll think about it, bye" she waves to his mom.

Then the both of them left going to the cashier.

"What about you?"

"Well I should go too, am going to drive my sister to school"

"Well you mention it, can you just teleport there, just like gymnasium"

"Well I can't do it right now because this skill takes a lot of time to cast it again so I can't waste it yet"

"Oh"

"What about you?"

"Well I still need to buy something for him"

"OK then..."

Both of them were still nervous and quiet for a few seconds. Then he asks.

"Are you free tomorrow by any chance?"

"Well... Maybe if I can, why?"

"Would I come to your house for once"

"Sure your welcome at any time e"*blushing*

"OK well see you tomorrow"

"Bye" waving

The blonde woman continues her buying grocery with su-ho while the shadow monarch and his family left the grocery store.

He drove going straight to Jin-ah school but then his summons Whisper the shadow monarch ear.

[My liege]

[There's something wrong with me]

"What's wrong Beru?"

[I don't know my liege but when you met that boy there was  something wrong with him, my liege]

"You mean the boy from the grocery store with Cha hae-in?"

[Yes my liege]

"Tell me what's your feeling right now"

[My liege, I felt happiness coming from that boy and also I want to protect him at all cost]

"You want to protect him, what does that even mean and also happiness?"

[I felt the same thing when you chose me to be part of the shadow army]

"Same thing? Is the rest of the shadows felt the same thing as you do?"

[Yes my liege]

"Thank you for telling me you can go back now"

[thank you my liege]

"What is going on.. My shadows went crazy when they sense his presence... I need to be careful this time... I also need to figure out who is this kid"

Then they arrived at jin-ah's school. He drops his sister near the entrance of the school gate. His Sister went out of the car and said.

"Am going to my guild"

At the time Cha hae-in and Su-ho arrived home with the groceries. She also brought the clothes she chose for su-ho. she told him to wear different clothes.

"OK Su-ho let's change your clothes, alright because am gonna wash it"

The boy nodded and went closer to her.

A while back when she was still buying groceries with the young boy.

She remembered for he doesn't have clothes at home except for the ones he wore today, she decided to buy clothes for the boy for his clothes are getting dirty soon.

She went to the mall and bought baby clothes for him even though she doesn't have a taste in fashion so she tried her best to choose the best clothes for him.

"Alright su-ho do you like it"

He nodded happily.

"Am glad... I thought you might not like it because I don't know what suits you so I tried my best to find the best set of clothes for you... Good thing you like it"

The boy started being strange suddenly. He ran towards the under the couch, refrigerator, Closet, Kitchen, and so on. He keeps on looking all over the house, the pretended mother wondered about his doing so she ask.

"What's wrong Su-ho?"

"Mama"

"What is it?"

"My Bellion is gone... "

"Bellion?"

He started to cry out.

"Don't cry now, I will find your bellion, I promise"

He stop crying and became happy with a smile on his face

"Mama, thank you"He hugs Cha hae-in with a happy smile

"Your welcome" She hugs back

when they stop hugging. She looked at her surroundings.



her house was a mess. She became gloomy for she didn't clean her house last night and went to sleep immediately.

"I think I should clean the house when am done eating"

"Mama"

"Your hungry too?"

He nodded.

"Let's eat first Ok"

He nodded again with a exciting smile on his face then his stomach went bubbling and begun hungry so he ran immediately to the kitchen.

"I didn't know why kids were impatient this day when they're hungry... I was never liked that before but he looks adorable when I think about it*chuckled*" she said.

Both of them went to the kitchen to prepare to eat their breakfast and spent their remaining time.

At the time of another dimension, there were three beings were gathered in one spot. One monarch senses another powerful aura coming from somewhere.

"Did you sense that?" Monarch of frost said.

"Sense what?"Yogumunt ask.

"Another monarch" Frost Monarch replied.

"What the hell are you talking about?"Beast Monarch said.

"Am talking about another monarch, who appeared somewhere"Frost Monarch said.

"Are you crazy or something, monarch of frost"Beast Monarch said.

"Am not crazy, beast king... I did sense it"Frost Monarch said.

"What did you sense monarch of frost?"Yogumunt ask.

"It has very similar power to the shadow monarch but weaker" Frost replied

"Another shadow monarch impossible," Beast monarch said.

"Agreed... there is only one shadow monarch exist in this universe and it's a human being hold the power of death"Yogumunt said.

"?"The beast monarch and yogumunt became confused.

"I did sense another shadow monarch and I know its location" Frost Monarch said.

"Oh"Yogumunt said.



"Where is it?"Beast monarch asks.

"It's called Earth, it is where the Shadow Monarch lives"Frost monarch answered to the Beast king.

"Are you freaking kidding me!"Beast Monarch said with shock.

"Yes it's very freaky but it would be more worth it if we know his identity" Frost Monarch said.

"Would it be more dangerous if they work together as Shadow Monarch?"Yogumunt said.

"Don't worry as long the architect does his role we don't have to worry about the human shadow monarch"The Frost Monarch said.

"What about the other unknown one?"Yogumunt ask.

"Of course we shall put a gate near his location, "Frost Monarch said.

"What kind of monsters will you put inside that gate, monarch of frost"Beast Monarch asks.

"Minotaurs" Frost Monarch answered.

"Why?"Yogumunt ask.

"There the best being who can crush a human into pieces because of their insane strength similar to a giant..... so It's good enough to test someone strength... strong enough to kill a hundred monsters and one S-Rank Monster for the unknown shadow monarch"

"Don't think my soldiers are mere tools for your test" Beast Monarch said with a little fury.



"Don't worry, Beast Monarch... It is enough to kill that weak monarch because it is weaker than the human shadow monarch we know right if it can survive of course but we should observe for now... We have other plans to do"

"Agreed"
