A group of Spec Ops operators are saved from the jaws of death by the intervention of the Supreme Law of Time. After waking from a coma, the team's leader finds himself bound to an alien symbiote. And thanks to the symbiote, the team is thrust into the hidden world of Will awakeners; individuals who use their Will to harness superhuman abilities. As if that wasn't bad enough, the team accidentally uncover a conspiracy by a powerful shadow organisation which then puts them in the central position in the fight against the organisation and their nefarious plans for the world. Thus, begins the journey of the Soldiers chosen by Time!

'Gorgeous!'
This was Mary's opinion when she laid eyes on the Sea of Energy.
Though not as sensitive to Energy as Champion, an Essence Energy purist, but as a designer she was able to appreciate the beauty and complexity of the entity a bit more than her husband.
The myriad of different energy types existing together in one place created an immensely chaotic sea.
However, within this chaos was also order.
Incompatible energy types conflicted with each other in specific ways while at the same time, compatible energy type supported each other in specific ways.
It created a rise and fall of many energy types within the Sea of Energy.
This semblance of order in the chaotic sea created a sort of beautiful chaos in Mary's eyes.
Her mood eased to become stable in the face of the impending trials that would determine whether she progressed or not.
