A group of Spec Ops operators are saved from the jaws of death by the intervention of the Supreme Law of Time. After waking from a coma, the team's leader finds himself bound to an alien symbiote. And thanks to the symbiote, the team is thrust into the hidden world of Will awakeners; individuals who use their Will to harness superhuman abilities. As if that wasn't bad enough, the team accidentally uncover a conspiracy by a powerful shadow organisation which then puts them in the central position in the fight against the organisation and their nefarious plans for the world. Korede switched off the television in the DSS's Counterinsurgency unit's office after watching the news.
The others had gone out to rest elsewhere after pulling an all nighter in the office to get the paperwork done as soon as possible.
The Major who had rested ahead of the others decided to watch the morning news while he waited for the others to return to the office.
Korede had thoughts about each of the stories reported on the news.
The initial story about the arrest of the high-ranking officer left him with realisations.
'The Ministry is already doing damage control for the 3rd Division and the Army. They are phrasing the story as if the Army was involved in the investigation from the onset, and used it to purge itself of its bad apples.
