A group of Spec Ops operators are saved from the jaws of death by the intervention of the Supreme Law of Time. After waking from a coma, the team's leader finds himself bound to an alien symbiote. And thanks to the symbiote, the team is thrust into the hidden world of Will awakeners; individuals who use their Will to harness superhuman abilities. As if that wasn't bad enough, the team accidentally uncover a conspiracy by a powerful shadow organisation which then puts them in the central position in the fight against the organisation and their nefarious plans for the world. Two weeks quickly passed quietly.
The Alpha Squad's vacation ended and they had to get back to work.
Well, it was not like they weren't working during their holiday in the first place.
Korede had visited the Villa in Abuja to deliver the 'Alzheimer's cure' to the president. Subsequent test showed that indeed the cure had worked.
President Isong was beyond elated to get rid of the Damocles' sword hanging over his head.
He told Korede to ask for whatever he wanted and he would make it so.
When the Alpha Squad leader replied that there wasn't anything he wanted, the president explained that his request would be treated separate from the two live favours the President owed.
President Isong confessed that the request now would be more for his pride than it was for Korede. He just wanted to compensate Korede with no strings attached.
