How could he not see that the two times Fatima took action were a show of force on their part. It was like Korede was showing how easy it would be to destroy their forces. He only needed to send one person.
Also, the air of mystery around the man himself made Alberto wary of him. He didn't believe... or rather, he couldn't safely believe Korede was any weaker than Fatima. The instinct Alberto honed after many years wouldn't allow him to believe it.
