A group of Spec Ops operators are saved from the jaws of death by the intervention of the Supreme Law of Time. After waking from a coma, the team's leader finds himself bound to an alien symbiote. And thanks to the symbiote, the team is thrust into the hidden world of Will awakeners; individuals who use their Will to harness superhuman abilities. As if that wasn't bad enough, the team accidentally uncover a conspiracy by a powerful shadow organisation which then puts them in the central position in the fight against the organisation and their nefarious plans for the world. CH157: SEAN ROGERS IS DEAD
Bang
The hearts and brains of the operatives on the scene stopped as they heard the Sniper rifle's shot. They turned around and saw Sean Rogers on the floor as blood pooled around him.
The operatives on the scene were pros. From the amount of blood around and the speed at which it pulled, they knew the bullet must have hit his heart. It was unlikely for him to survive. In fact, if he was lucky, he would have died instantly. If he wasn't, he would experience a few short seconds of silent agony before he finally died.
Either way, Sean Rogers was lost. He was dead.
The operatives froze at this thought.
