Her chuckle made his frown deeper before the sound of her dropping her utensils reverberated. "There is no need to get so worked up, Mr. Trancy."
"You know who I am?"
"Indeed, I do."
His vigilance immediately shot up, earning a smile from her. "It's a shame you don't know me though. Makes me feel like my father isn't famous enough for you to even recognize her daughter."
"Am I supposed to know you? What are you talking about?"
"Do you know Mr. Modash, Trancy?"
"Don't call me Trancy, my name is Vincent," he corrected her. "And yes, I do know Mr. Modash. Is there a problem? What does that have to do with this?"
Rose's smile stretched wider. "He's my father."
Vincent's brow shot up immediately.
