Isabelle was pissed they hid it from her. Okay yeah they tried to protect her, but it wasn't their job. She wasn't theirs and she had to remember that. That in the end they were still alpha's no matter how kind they would be. They would show their true selves and be assholes. Punching the brick white wall she winced in pain a small splatter of her blood dripped down the wall.
She wanted to trust them she wanted to need someone. She wanted to be that little girl again who watched her dad walk out only to be taken in by the alpha's, but it was to late. She was to damaged, too much of a flight risk and a danger to stick around. Something she learned long ago is if you love something you need to let it go. For once since her accident she found love, true love but she would be gone by morning. Into the wind, in another town knowing they wouldn't follow her why would they they had everything here.
Paying attention to the rest of the city she didn't notice a glass appear on the table. Turning around to go inside she saw it and walked up to it. In the whipping cream was the word sorry and her heart melted. Why couldn't they have met her before the world convinced her that it was war? Sitting down she sipped the glass and closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. Dreaming about a world where she was happy with them. She would take turns every night wearing one of their shirts to bed. Go to the pool, drink wine and dance around the house. All things she wanted in another life having no clue that the real world was turning into a terrible mess. While Isabelle slept the man she thought was one of the alpha's wasn't her drink was spiked and she was carried to a rental car. Laying in the back seat they drove off into the night with the alpha's waiting patiently inside to apologize trying to give her time.
"I can't wait in here anymore....!" Dylan said throwing his hands up standing up in a quick motion.
But Chase held him back confusing the other two alpha's. Out of all of them Chase would have been the first one up out that door and yet he seemed the calmest.
"Chase how can you be so calm after hearing she was sold as a kid and is being chased by the owners?!" Dylan was pissed Chase did whatever he wanted good or bad but tried to make Dylan sensible no not this time.
Chase stayed silent staring at the floor without blinking.
"What's going on Chase?" Cole was calm he loved Isabelle just like the rest of them and he fell fast and hard, but he knew how it was for the them last time. It almost broke them it couldn't happen again, but the face Chase made, made him question everything was it already to late, did they really fall that hard?
Dylan calmed down realizing that Chase was stuck in a trance.
"Something is wrong I don't know what it is but I can just feel it something that doesn't make sense."
You got that right no one else in the room knew what Chase was talking about, but before they could ask Chase got up and walked into Isabelle's room and back out carrying the book. Chase sat on the sofa and held the book without saying a word.
"This don't you understand this is what's wrong don't you get it?!"
But just like before the other two did not just stared at Chase wondering what was wrong Chase didn't like that and got angry.
"This Dylan, Cole can't you tell why this is important?" Turning the book over Chase looked at the bottom and his suspicions were correct well some of them. Laughing Chase couldn't help but laugh it wasn't a good laugh not that something was good but that this couldn't be happening. It couldn't be this reason it was just too much of a coincidence but it was true. Turning the book towards the Alpha's Chase waited for them to say something. " Guys look at the logo doesn't it look odd like we've seen it before?"
That's when Cole and Dylan really looked and their eyes grew. Of course they knew what this logo meant it's a logo from a store a long time ago that the owner betrayed them. Not just them but many many people it couldn't be that no it couldn't be...
"Cole upset got up calling is Isabelle's name but there was no answer nothing at all. He wanted to give her space and time but with this news this couldn't wait they had to know the truth. Where had she got it, was that the only one? Without hearing a word from Isabelle Cole open the door with the other two right behind him, but the terrance was empty.
"Frantic Dylan and Chase called for her but she wouldn't hear them. They knew that and started looking for clues, How had she gotten past them? Did she sneak off the railing it couldn't be it was to far down, but then where did she go? The clues that they found did not add up. There was a coffee cup on the table which neither of them remembered putting there, and they were watching Isabelle and knew she didn't bring one out with her. Maybe it had just been there from the night before. What made them worry was the blood on the wall. How could they leave her alone? How could they leave her to have this happen? Was she alive, was she okay? They had to find her and find out how somebody could keep getting into their house.
