"Ahhhh!" I screamed as we started falling from the intense height.
I felt dizzy and terrified, clinging to his leather jacket. He looked at me with a smirk, his fangs gleaming. He whispered in my ear, "Don't worry, baby girl. I won't bite…yet."
The fact that he used the word 'Yet', didn't escape my notice. But I was too busy falling from an intense height and trying not to die, than to care about his words.
The wind whipped my hair and clothes, making me shiver. The city lights blurred into streaks of color below us. I felt a surge of adrenaline and fear, mixed with a strange thrill.
He held me tight, his body warm against mine. His breath on my neck sent a jolt of electricity through me. I heard his heartbeat, steady and strong, in sync with mine. I heard his breath, hot and sweet, in my ear. I heard his voice, low and seductive, in my mind. I closed my eyes, waiting for the impact.
