Sold

"Hello," she said with smile. She walked closer. She was wearing branded clothes and it was obvious she was rich.

Her hazel eyes stared at him brightly as if she was a kid receiving candy for the first time. Behind her, another woman stood. She was wearing a professional suit as she stared at the other woman weirdly.

"Ria, what do you think about my choice?" The woman with hazel eyes asked the one with professional clothing.

"It is wonderful madam," Ria answered. Truthfully, she wondered what her boss was thinking. Buying a man?

"Mmmh." The hazel-eyed woman touched his face, running her fingers downwards to his neck.

Kyle was annoyed. The fact that he was sold was not going well with him. If only he could move then he would have ran away.

A man came into the room. He seemed to be a worker there. "We are happy to pronounce that you are now the owner of one of our best products, Kyle Farenight." Product? Kyle was not happy about being called that.

Something cold was put around his neck. "This is a collar that can be controlled with a bracelet we will give you. Please note that the products have signed a contract so no legal steps can be taken. There is no refunding as per the contract you have signed. Thankyou for doing business with us, Mrs Jasugh" the man bowed and left.

Kyle did not remember signing any contract but he could guess such people had their ways.

Mrs. Jasugh opened the locks that were keeping him onto the stand and his body immediately fell into her arms. He was temporarily paralyzed.

Ria then gave him a white substance and within five seconds, he could move again. How weird.

"We are going to have so much fun?" Mrs. Jasugh whispered in his ear making him realize that he was still in her arms. Quickly standing up straight, he spoke,

"You are insane woman!" The fact that she bought a man meant that she was more than crazy. Seriously, who does that?

Kyle did not wait for a reply as he pushed her aside and run towards the door. However, just as his hands touched the door, the colar tightened in an instant.

He fell on the ground as he pulled the colar. "I guess you're not as smart as you look," Mrs. Jasugh said with a smile holding up the bracelet that controlled the colar.

Kyle frowned, it was the second time someone said he was not smart in one day. Wait, was it one day?

A gas emitted from the colar and he felt himself fade into the darkness, again. Why did everyone suddenly want to make him faint?

"Did he not please you madam?" Ria asked.

"When we are alone you can call me by my name, Ria," she and her were close.

"Okay," Ria paused, "Calista."

"Good. I know you're wondering why I bought a man," Calista said knowingly. 'Yes!' thought Ria, but couldn't say it out loud.

"It's none of my business, ma... Calista."

"It's okay, I'll tell you. I'm looking for something to vent my anger, in this case, someone." Huh? Ria suddenly wished she didn't know. "I know it's quite rude of me but..." She sighed. She hated men but she had never shown it.

Everyone has a sad story to tell as well as a happy one. The difference is the length of each.

To Calista, the biggest part was the sad one. She was one of the best CEOs, so everyone thought she had a perfect life.

Only, she knew she was broken. They say broken people tend to pretend everything is fine and it was not different for Calista.

Her difficulties led to her hating men more than ever. She led her mind into thinking they were all the same just like the women in movies and novels, only she would not change her mind because of some male lead, or so she thought.

Her hatred grew everyday and she could no longer hold it in and pretend it was all fine. She wanted to vent like everyone else,but privately.

That's why she, Calista Jasugh, one of the richest CEOs, bought a man.

"Let's leave now. The smell of disgusting men is starting to annoy me," Calista said holding her nose. Ria could only sigh her head. She wanted to remind her boss that she bought one of those men.

One of Calista's men took Kyle to her car and they sped off.
