The second floor, actually quite empty.
Nan Mengqian had only used one room for her work, and the rest had not even been renovated.
After touring the second floor, Ji Yun couldn't help but shake his head.
It felt like stepping into the last century, inside a dilapidated castle in Europe...
For a house like this, hiring a run-of-the-mill renovation team wouldn't necessarily do a good job; after all, many materials used in this house were very particular, meant to last a hundred years.
"This house of yours could be rented out for European-style script murders, or even to film companies... and the rent wouldn't be cheap," Ji Yun said.
"I've already returned the apartment given to me by the school," Nan Mengqian said.
"You could rent this place out and find a high-end apartment in the city to live in," Ji Yun suggested.
"But I quite like it here," Nan Mengqian said, hiding behind Ji Yun, clearly afraid something else might fly out of the house.
