Chapter 7

Addy

Addy woke up to find herself in her own apartment, well at least she wasn't alone after that knock out from Deborah. She was hoping to find Harley to her rescue, though it turned out to be the least likely person she wanted to see her ex-girlfriend Lisa Winters. Getting off the couch to fast and fell back down, that isn't how it is supposed to be after being punched and knocked out for at least a day.

"Baby, don't get up to fast, Deborah knocked you out right on the ground." Lisa said.

"First, I am not you're baby you ran off with Reba after being broken up for not even five minutes. Second, Deborah will be the one to get her ass kicked next." Addy replied flinching in pain.

"Babe, trust me, Reba died in a car accident they had the funeral today but I didn't go because of you being in pain and very sore. I needed to take care of my wife-to-be." Lisa responded smoothly.

"I am not you're babe, baby or wife-to-be move the fuck out of my way. I am heading to the bar in respects to Reba for her death, otherwise I didn't care for that woman as much as you. Also, I am getting Harley one way or another so if she shows up that is where I am at." Addy replied grabbing her purse, keys, and anything else she needed. "By the way, you better be out of here when I get back."

"You can't do this to me, we belong together Addy. Addy, please stay." Lisa begged.

"No, now get out of my apartment." Addy replied then slams her apartment door.

Making her way to the bar, Addy dreadfully hated the way she treated Lisa but she didn't want her and didn't even want to marry her. Once again, Lisa got in her way with a smile.

"I want to keep the apartment since neither you nor Taylor ever return to it." Lisa said with a grin.

"No, where am I going to live? Plus, I just paid rent on it." Addy replied with saddened eyes.

"That is for you to figure out, princess. I am not here to rescue you since you have no care for my feelings. So, hand over your key and I will tell you're landlord that you have a new place to live." Lisa responded.

"Once again no, that is my apartment." Addy replied keeping calm.

"You want you're apartment? You ain't having it bitch. Now give over the key." Lisa responded in fury.

"Fine, here. Now, leave me alone." Addy replied walking away.

Addy walks into the bar seeing Ariel waiting for her with a drink in hand. Making her way to the bar stool, she sat there alone as Ariel came to her in a cheerful mood.

"Isn't it little misses sunshine Addy?" Ariel asked.

"Yeah, I am here. Just dreading another evening here since Lisa took my apartment." Addy explained.

"Are you kidding me? Lisa stole your apartment even though she has her own place this is so screwed up." Ariel replied pissed off.

"I know, it is fine though being homeless isn't a bad thought." Addy sighed.

Next thing Addy heard the bar door open loudly echoing the inside she knew at this point it was Lisa coming back to demand her peace or Celeste wanting her attention some more. Celeste sounded like a better conclusion compared to Lisa. Being lost in thought she felt a hand on hers.

"Do you wish to explain to me why you are in a bar alone?" Harley whispered into Addy's ear.

Addy took a big gulp, she hadn't expected to hear her voice and hold her hand as they held hands.

"H-Harley?" Addy gulped again.

"Yes." Harley whispered with a soft s into Addy's ear.

Addy shivered as she finally looked at Harley's brown-eyes that made her want to smile at ease but she can't not quite yet. Addy still held her hand tightly though she knew that she had to tell her once and for all that she is done with Lisa.

"I-I left Lisa because she demanded marriage again, I can't do it not now, I need time." Addy rushed out her words.

"Deborah cheated on me while I was in sorrow over my mom Reba and no word on my sister Celeste, have you heard anything?" Harley asked.

Addy shook her head just looking at Harley with questioning on what could be wrong with Celeste. Granted, she could care less about Celeste but she is all Harley has since their mother is now gone. Addy saw Ariel come back over with a grin.

"I see you two have finally gotten together. Took you two long enough. Harley, your sister is fine. She is in a mental ward for care, she did try to hurt herself but Melissa got a hold of law enforcement in time." Ariel said with a wink.

"That is some good news then at least I won't be attending two funeral's the same week." Harley replied smiling.

"Agreed but in that arrangement you two will be living in the apartment above the bar since you're exes have kicked you out. You will both be expected to pay rent equally. Unfortunately, I only have one small bedroom apartment left with a kitchen, living room, dining space, and one office room. If that is an inconvenience for you both then you will need to find someplace else. I don't care what you do as long as you keep up with the rent. Now, the room number is 5 it shouldn't be that difficult to find. I am always working late hours here so don't expect any racket from us. Do we have an agreement ladies?" Ariel responded with a smile.

Addy stared at Harley, what about a date? This is to soon they can't move in together not now. She knew they belonged together by the quote that still follows in her head every now and then loving her beyond myself was never in the plans and it is now a reality if they can love one another. Does happily ever after exist for anyone? Would it for her and Harley? This is the battle she isn't sure she is ready for her. Addy needed space since her beat down with Deborah, Lisa still determined to marry her, and struggling to rise with society on who she is. Single and new town wasn't how this whole thing is supposed to begin. Addy didn't want trouble with Harley as they walked hand in hand to the booth in the back where they can hide. No music is playing, everyone had left finally, and it just so peaceful for them both. They had no words to speak, silence, a calm silence filled the room. Addy wrung her hands together in the booth with Harley doing the same thing.

"I do not know where to begin." Harley said.

"Begin, where?" Addy asked.

"On my feelings towards you." Harley replied.

"We got all night, I got ears to listen, and I am willing to bite on something good instead of evil." Addy responded.

"You have such a weird sense of humor." Harley replied smiling.

"You are just getting a taste." Addy responded grinning.

"Such a smart ass." Harley replies with a smile.

"One and only." Addy responds.

Addy wasn't expecting this to go as smooth as it has become. She needed more than just talking between them to convince her that Harley will ever be enough for her. Addy knew their love is strong and bonding that made her feel weak beneath her legs. She craved Harley but not enough that she would do anything right then and there.

"So, what is your favorite color?" Harley asked.

"Pink, yours?" Addy asked in return.

"Purple. Any type of foods you prefer?" Harley asking gently.

"Mexican especially Tex-Mex that is delicious." Addy replied feeling her stomach rumbling.

"That sounds delicious, I will see if Ariel can have the chef make us something." Harley responded walking away to Ariel to order food.

Addy didn't expect Harley to be so sweet but there is something off about her. It didn't feel right though same time it did. Addy saw Harley making her way back to the booth with a smile that is a mile wide. Addy sipped her drink watching Harley take a seat next to her whispering into her ear.

"Chef Marie is willing to make you something Mexican, Ariel will be the one serving us, and Celeste will be joining us with Melissa."

Addy wanted to hurl knowing Celeste will be sitting next to her with her own future wife next to her. Addy gathered herself as she saw Celeste walking in sashaying with Melissa following suit to keep up even though they were holding hands. Twin sisters in the same room and hormones raging between women this is going to be a mess.

"Hey ladies, so you are finally together that is terrific news." Celeste said excitedly.

"I agree, sis. How are you and Melissa's love life?" Harley asked.

"Wonderful, we are planning to leave this town and head on out to a whole new area that this world needs some fun, loving couple to know." Celeste replied holding Melissa's hand tightly.

"That is great news, sis." Harley responded holding Addy's hand just as tight.

Addy wanted to so badly excuse herself from the sister's conversation with Celeste mere inches made her so nervous. Addy felt the booth shift on her left hand side as she felt a warm breath against her.

"You look so tasteful tonight, I would gladly rip that dress off of you, and make you moan my name again like you used too when you were in love with me." Celeste whispered.

Addy shivered she knew this was going to happen again. Celeste being desperate for her in hindsight as soon as they were near one another. Addy looked over seeing Harley having an animated conversation with Melissa. This isn't a planned evening she had in mind. Addy felt Celeste hand crawl up her dress, she bit her lip, begging herself not to moan this isn't what she needed at the moment in front of Harley. Celeste hand reached her pussy and fiddled with it making her want to moan more holding her seat tight feeling herself being wet at that moment pleading eyes begging Celeste to stop. She didn't want this then she watched Celeste go under the table claiming to grab her fork that dropped and next thing she knew, she felt Celeste moist tongue on to her sweet pussy, she held on tight to Celeste head and bit her lip wanting to moan but being in a bar with her girlfriend, she didn't dare to even say her name out loud. Celeste finally finished making Addy feel so shaky beneath the table this time, she desperately wanted to get out from the booth.

"Harley, can I please be excused? I need to go to the bathroom." Addy begged.

"Yes, yes, of course my darling." Harley replied.

Addy felt relieved that Harley moved for her to leave and she rushed to the bathroom, she locked the door so Celeste wouldn't follow to get into her. Addy cried her eyes out feeling herself losing it, every time Celeste came within inches of her, she was between her legs making her feel so quake. All she wanted was to be left alone and be in love with Harley like she is supposed to be. A quiet knock sounded on the bathroom door as Addy held her breath waiting to hear who is on the other side.

"Addy, it is Harley, please come out or at least let me in." Harley said.

"Celeste better not be with you." Addy replied through sobs.

"No, no her and Melissa went on home noticing you weren't coming out of the bathroom." Harley explained.

Addy got up from the bathroom floor then opened to see Harley looking at her confused. Addy is even afraid to tell Harley again that Celeste won't keep her hands to herself. Addy stood their staring at Harley unsure of how to even begin of why she has hid herself in the bathroom crying but she knew telling Harley that Celeste keeps going between her legs would piss her off because Harley fell in love with her, though they haven't even dated yet. Addy felt herself wanting to deny everything inside of her that the truth is Celeste will never be done torturing her no matter how far that her and Melissa move away it made her beg for one happy ending but with Celeste still dying to have her it ached Addy so bad. Addy felt Harley lift her bridal style to their new apartment being gentle taking her upstairs, she don't recall them eating dinner, or enjoying more alcohol though to make actual love that evening like most couples do when they fall deep for one another but that didn't happen. Addy watch Harley place her on their new leather couch, brushing her hair out of her face, and smiled down at her.

"Sleep, my love, sleep. We will talk tomorrow with better cleared minds." Harley said quietly.

"I can't sleep not with what happened again this time at the bar in front of you and Melissa even though I begged her not too in my mind." Addy replied.

"Begged who? Addy if my sister hurt you again, I will deal with her once more this is unnecessary even though I have been with Melissa myself but that was long before I met you. My sister doesn't need to be touching you in any way." Harley responded with fury.

"Harley, calm down, this is why I didn't want to say anything knowing you would be mad at her." Addy replied through sobs.

"Addy, I am not going to let her keep getting away with hurting you." Harley responded calming down and holding Addy in her arms.

Addy cried more and more unable to keep herself from breaking with knowing they have no way of stopping Celeste from keeping her hands to herself or in this case her tongue. Yes, Addy loved Celeste at one point but not in this case. Addy felt Harley lay her back down on the leather couch, bringing her some water, a blanket and turned on some soft music to make her sleep peacefully.

Bright sunny morning, Addy smelled the air of eggs, bacon, and pancakes with aroma of coffee that made her stomach growl loudly knowing she didn't eat at all last night. Rubbing her eyes, she looked around to see that she is in a gorgeous furnished apartment that had leather couch, chairs, and stools. Glass tables, wooden chairs, light blue walls surrounded the apartment it made her take it all in. Addy got up from the couch feeling her feet on the hardwood floor and making her way to the kitchen to find Harley sipping on her coffee at the table while reading a newspaper.

"Good morning, gorgeous. Did you sleep well? I have ended up sleeping in our room by myself but woke up early enough to check on you." Harley said.

"Good morning. I did sleep well, can't believe I am up before noon but this place is huge and amazing for any couple just starting out. I can say Ariel out did herself with these rooms." Addy replied.

"You are so lovely in the morning. I can't wait to wake up like this every day next to you." Harley responded smoothly.

"Thank you but let's take this slow please. I am still not even sure what I want in the future." Addy replied pouring her coffee and drinking a sip then sitting at the table with Harley.

"My future is right in front of me if she wishes to take it slow then we will." Harley responded placing the paper down looking right at Addy.

Addy rolled her eyes and kept sipping her coffee also looking out at the window at least they had one with a window so she can see some trees, a blue sky, and beyond what lies in her thoughts. Addy isn't no writer or anything but if she could, it would be about a country girl living in a city like area with her dream woman that she could call her wife and live happily ever after. Though those are just stories that any person can make but not her, she loves working in the library and helping others find stories that will unravel thoughts of their own imagination.

Addy wanted nothing more than to travel the world and see everything beyond apartments, moving to new places and constantly starting over. Addy's life has always face challenges in return of rapes, her heart being torn to shreds by loves in the women she always felt for, and settled for what came at her. Addy has once again settled this time with Harley on top of a bar in a gorgeous apartment. Compared to Lisa this is something more for her at least as a beginning for her to be happy for the time being though something will fall through it always has.

"What is so interesting outside, darling?" Harley asked.

"Oh, um, the beauty of the trees outside this apartment is gorgeous, and rolling mountains in the far." Addy replied.

"Rolling mountains, babe, we are in the city. I am not sure where you're mind has wondered but we aren't in the mountains and no where near trees." Harley responded laughing.

"We are?" Addy shook her head seeing that Harley is correct they are in a boring city.

"Yes, my dear. I am sorry for the disappointment." Harley replied.

"No worries, Harley. It is fine, I am missing home in the mountains it seems. I hated moving constantly to find my own happiness the only thing I got out of this is working in a library with people who love to read." Addy responded holding her cup tightly.

Addy got up from the table placing her half cup of coffee in the sink and walked away without a word to Harley. She needed to be alone away from the woman who is obsessed with her like Celeste it felt sickening that the woman she liked from kissing just once is now making her feel uncomfortable, she is hoping that it will pass. Addy went to the other side of the apartment where she could see and feel the breeze outside though that led to her being shown out to the city, luckily she still had on her dress. Addy felt Harley come up behind her and held her close then kissing her cheek and down to her neck. Addy wasn't ready as she pushed Harley off of her, she is in no hurry to make love to anyone including Harley.
