My first level up(s)

[Day 2]

"Kyuuuu~" I yawn and stretch as I wake up. I sleepily look around just in case it was all a dream, News flash, it was not. I let out a sigh and just decide to not do anything today, yesterdays events were a bit much for my tiny human brain and I am stressed the fuck out.

First I wake up in another world as a dragon no less, leaving behind my only friend, all my dreams and goals, all my hard work and effort to be a better man than my father was, only to just lose it all and wake up alone in a damp and dark cave.

And then I have to fight for my life against giant acid-spitting frogs, I have to level up this useless appraisal skill just so I can feel even slightly confident against any enemies, and then I run into a personification of my worst fears and have to run for my life because its way too big, fast, and strong for me to beat, absolutely crushing my pride and making me feel like a coward.

All this bullshit, in one day, all this fucking shit that I have to deal with and I've had no breaks except for when I slept. So yeah, it's been a day, So ima just stay here where I feel safe and warm for a while until my mental state is back at acceptable levels.

*BOOM*

But, unfortunately, the world just wants to absolutely DICK me over!

The wall behind me just burst open, and I had leaped away from the origin site as rocks and debris were sent flying into my nest destroying it almost completely.

*Sigh*

Seriously? I just made this place, and you just come around and destroy it? Are you fucking serious right now? Can I not catch a break? First I died and am now a dragon, and now I can't even relax? Why does the universe hate me so Goddamn much?

A low growl could be heard from the cloud of dust and a red glow could be seen as well, and not long after what looks to be a six-legged wolf with ash grey fur comes into view glaring at me while snarling.

Me, not really giving a fuck and still pissed about my home, charges at the wolf first who howls loudly and then matches my charge with its own. We meet in the middle and it swipes its large paw at me intending to split me in half, but I'm faster than it and duck under the attack, then I jump up, hitting its chin with my head.

It recoils in pain and stumbles back disoriented, and following up, I spin around and whip its mid-section with my tail, or at least that was the plan because instead, I hit nothing but air, the mutt having regained its senses and backed off before I could land a solid hit.

By now we are just staring each other down with it glaring at me harder than before, and me still trying to find ways to skin and flay this thing after I kill it. Suddenly it jumps back onto my large rock/my bed and its eyes glow a blueish color as it starts looking down on me?

OH HELL NO!

I run at the wolf wanting to knock it down a peg, literally, but before I could even get close, it opened its mouth and spit out a stream of high-pressure water at me that made an impact right at my mid-section, sending me flying back into the ground.

'What the hell!? Since when can dogs shoot fucking water jets out of their mouths?' I think as I decided to use appraisal, maybe I can get some useful information right?

'I mean, it's at least better than last time' I muse as I get back up in time to dodge another stream of water. By now I'm on the defensive and have to constantly back away and avoid each attack without gaining any ground as the wolf keeps me on my toes and away from it. It seems to know that it can't beat me in a physical battle so it's opting to instead be an asshole about it.

'Just' I dodge to the left and another stream misses me by a hairs breath this time.

'Fucking' I leap back and the ground below where the beam hit cracks and shatters.

'Stop' I move to the right and the wall behind me gets hit and chunks of rock come off.

"KYUUUU! (SPAMMING!)" I yell out loud having had enough of this bullshit. Wanting to end this as quickly as possible I decided to fuck all defensive measures and power through the beams instead. I run at the wolf who shoots the beam at me once again only this time I take it head-on, my charge is impeded slightly but I am still going strong.

I can feel the fur on my face getting ripped off slowly as I walk through the attack not minding the pain as my mind is too preoccupied to care, and the wolf seems shocked, but it didn't last long as it increases the amount and pressure to even higher levels, because that's a thing and I'm slowed down even more, but I'm still heading towards it.

The burning sensation on my face lowers to just a low sting.

Now, a lot closer than before it growls at me and its eyes glow blue, just like before so I'd assume it's going to use another water-based skill or something, but before that happens the water suddenly just stops coming and I stumble forward at high speeds not expecting that, the wolf's eyes go wide as I crash into it and it gets sent flying into the wall.

Its impact had made the cave shake slightly and a bit of the ceiling came down on the wolf and crushed it into a paste. Huh, that was Kinda anticlimactic in my opinion. Oh well, I just look at the spot where it died with an impassive gaze but I am still slightly disappointed. 'There goes my mat'

Suddenly my body starts to heat up, not in an uncomfortable way but just the feeling of being next to the fireplace on a cold winter night instead, and after it's done I can feel invigorated and stronger as well. There is a connection with the grass and flowers around me that I didn't notice before, no it's more like I couldn't notice it before, but with this level up, I can.

Then a huge list of skills appeared in my vision, like a shit ton of skills. Too many to list out as it would take way too long to finish even half the list, and most were just kinda shit, to be honest. But there were a few ones that seemed good enough.

Also, if you're going to judge me for getting stab resistance, then how about YOU try running away from a giant fucking spider monster, then we'll see who has PTSD. Anyway, now that I know for a fact that I can level up in this world, then I should probably get to it...I should, but I'm feeling really lazy all of the sudden and I still have to rebuild my nest so instead ima just nap here instead. Yeah, that sounds good.

*Grumble*

"Kyu (Shut up for a second)" I comment half-heartedly as I just breathe life on its body and smother it with grass and plants. I quite literally suffocated a giant wasp with a mass of plants. Huh, I never thought I could kill with this skill, I mean its whole purpose is to just make life and now I just ended life, with life? That's confusing, but also awesome.

Hold on a minute, if I had trouble with that frog, and it was at least 10 times weaker than me, shouldn't I be able to take out that Arch? I mean reasonably if I use my huge roster of skills to their fullest I should be able to. Am I going to though? No, probably not.

I use my new skill plant magic to create a magic circle over the wasp corpse and wrap it in a cocoon of plants and grass, Why you may ask? It's because they taste like shit and Id rather cover them with something I can actually stomach. But on another note, the skill plant magic is immensely useful for my build, my physiology revolves around the green so any skills that I get that involve nature seem to be more potent than if not, because I'm pretty sure with level 2 plant magic I shouldn't be able to tie down a.

With flimsy strands of grass, this huge snake that was able to crush giant boulders with its head alone, Like this thing can gulp down a full-grown human with ease, and yet my green is keeping it tied down to the ground? That's fucking OP as shit and I can't even deny it at this point.

I walk over to the snake who is trying to thrash around and escape but can't move at all and as it opens its mouth to hiss at me I breathe life right down its throat. "Kyu, Kyu (Heh, that's what she said)"

The snake tries to close its mouth but its airways are blocked up by a mass of plants so it can only slowly suffocate to death. I may or may not have a fetish for choking my enemies to death. Because this is the...1...6...9...18th foe today that I have killed via this method.

Alright, I think that's enough grinding for one day. I wrap the snake up in a bundle of plants as well and slowly drag it back to my nest, any other creatures mostly stayed out of the way when I was traveling, it's probably because a little ass dragon is hauling around a giant snake, but I could be wrong about that.

Anyway, it doesn't take long for me to get back to my nest, the snake can't fit inside so I just use it to plug up the walls in my dome-shaped home, and refill my place with nature before heading in too exhausted to care about anything else and sleeping for the rest of the day.
