Chapter 70

(Tana's POV) 

Insinz and I were locked in an embrace, lips pressed together so tightly I could feel every inche of his body pressed into mine. I was slightly out of breath, both from enduring his toxicity levels and from the intensity of the kisses when there was a knock at the door. I pushed him away, got up, and unlocked it. Raijian was standing outside my door with a mischievous smirk on his face. He probably got the gist of what was going on behind the door.

"We're watching a movie downstairs... if you both want to join us..." His tone was teasing so I nodded then closed the door in his face to hide my blushing. Insinz's clone was smiling and lying on his back in the bed.

"Wow... that was... fun." He muttered. I do feel stronger but his reaction is making the situation feel even more uncomfortable for me.

"Do you want to watch the movie with everyone?" I offered.

"Can't." He replied quickly.

"Why not?" I sat down beside him and he responded by rolling over and moving his hand up my thigh, onto my bottom. I smacked it away, causing Insinz's clone to sigh.

"I'm out of energy... you really were trying to swallow me whole. You sucked all the life out of me." I blushed,

"Don't phrase it like that! and of course I did, I am in a hurr. We have to finish this step as fast as possible." I retorted in frustration.

"Faster isn't always better, Tana." He replied in a mocking voice,

"Stop flirting with me!" He sighed again right before whispering,

"I'll have to return to your necklace... to restore my energy. I'll miss you." I closed my eyes and looked away so my heart couldn't be swayed by who he looks like. A moment later his hody disperse into it's gaseous form and was absorbed by the heartshaped stone around my neck.

I joined everyone else downstairs after that, still feeling flustered but intesrested in seeing this movie thing Raijian has suggested. Valin, Innoccence, Aluma, and Raijian were all there.

"Did... Cera not want to join?" Raijian shrugged,

"He went home to say his goodbyes to his boyfriend." I sat beside Raijian and smiled,

"Wow even Cera has found someone!" Such unexpected news! Coming to Earth proved to be a good thing for Cera and Zai, at least from a romantic standpoint. He chuckled from my reaction then reached out and patted my head.

"That's right." Raijian quickly retracted his hand and Aluma hugged his arm from the other side as the movie began. It was a comedy about a young female reporter who fell in love with her city's guardian. They were both clumsy, especially her who seemed to break objects in every scene. He was clumy with his words, often upsetting her by trying to keep her safe. It will most likely end with them together but ... I'm not sure if the writer knows what Infaniyans really look for in a partner. Especially a human one... mutual trust is the major factor and the way they argue, it seems like there's barely any there. They both lie a lot too.. I guess it's meant to be funny. We have plays on occassion in the palace and this reminded me of one of those, but instead of watching actors it feels more like looking through a window into another world.

"She's injured 5 people just by existing!" Valin noted while laughing then he nudged Innoccence who was at his side, she looked up at him and blushed. This likely her first time actually noticing him. She tried to return her focus to the movie and then he offered popcorn to her and she nodded eagerly, dug her hand deep into the bag, and crammed handfuls into her mouth. Halfway through the movie Valin's phone rang and he got up to answer it.

(Valin's POV)

"Hey..." I could hear Lisa take a deep breath before raising her voice to say,

"Where are you? I need to see you?" I felt a quake in my heart.

"I'm... at my brother's." I heard a door close, a few hurried steps, then a car door opening and shutting. "What are you doing?" I asked in a shakey voice,

"Nothing until you tell me where you are! You think I'll let you leave without a kiss or embrace or you seeing my expression when I promise you that I... just tell me where you are Valin!" My hand was shaking...has she... accepted me already? I'm sure she doesn't understand what being with me entails, there's no way she fully gets that. "Valin!" After she yelled, I gave her the address and about 15 minutes later she met me outside. Her eyes were red and tears were still escaping them... Has she been crying the whole time? I didn't want her to cry... I don't know why it never occurred to me that she might. She rushed to me and held my cheeks, pulling my face down to hers for a kiss. "I love you Valin..." I blinked in surprise then as she pulled away I leaned forward so our lips could reconnect. She released a moan which almost made me lose my senses and f*** her outside on the porch, so this time I backed away and covered my mouth to hide my devious grin.

"I love you too..." I replied, now that she was at a safe distance from me. She pushed my hand away then hugged me and laid her head into the crook of my neck.

"Your eyes... Even though the sun is still up, I clearly saw them light up." I was so thrown off by my lustful impulses I didn't think to hide my eyes... It's fine now that she knows what I am "I want you too..." Why is she doing this to me?!

"I don't know when I'll come back." I stuttered out, still struggling to hold myself back. I need to make the situation as clear as possible for her so... she doesn't get my hopes up just to run away later.

"Talk to me... I want to understand what's going on." We sat down on the porch steps as I explain the politics of my planet and how even after the king is dead we have to put new policies in place to maintain order. Our plan to elect new officials to overlook different regions of Afaira instead of everything being decided by one ruler. We also have to establish peace with Infaniya somehow... I explained that even if the battle wraps up quickly, the other parts might take some time. She sat quietly letting me talk, then sighed.

"This all sounds so dire. If you're fighting him I'm sure the current King is extremely corrupt..." Lisa muttered, with a slight pout. "I wish I could be with you but... I'm just a liability as I am... When the fighting part is finished... Is it possible for me to come and be at your side as you handle all the formalities and paperwork?" My heart shook once again,

"Afaria isn't the best place for a human... most Afarions don't consider humans as an... intelligent species worthy of respect, you're more like food that can, unfortunately, talk." She took a deep breath and said,

"You wouldn't let anything happen to me and I... don't need the other Afarions to like me.... I just want to be with you." that's when I could no longer sit still, I scooped her up into my arms and rushed into the house, slamming the door open as I dashed upstairs,

"Hey Valin what about the no lover's rul... eh nevermind." Raijian said, clearly joking by his voice. Aluma has nowhere else to go, just like Snowe but either way both Jey and Zai had women in this house, so they can't say anything to me as I lay Lisa on my bed, rip off her clothes and $%#* her until she's screaming and %$##@*!~g so much she begs me for the mercy that I no longer have the capacity to give.

(Cera's POV)

Markis and I arrived at the mansion, when I came in I noticed the ceiling chandelier shaking and all the women having embarrassed faces while Jey had an exasperated one... I guess... Valin brought his girlfriend by since he's the only one not here... or maybe Zai and Snowe came back and rushed upstairs... but that would be odd since they have their own place. I pretended not to notice the mood and sat next to a human girl on the loveseat, while Markis sat nearby in an armchair. He bent towards me to whisper,

"Does it put thoughts in your head?" I blushed and tried to ignore him, "I've never been to your room in this house... could you show it to me.?"

"I know what you're up to and I can't do that since we are here for serious reasons. It would be disrespectful," I said as the shaking got louder, damn it Valin?! He's making my excuse sound weak! It was hard enough dealing with it when Snowe was here, so Valin soundproofed all the rooms better, but I guess he needs to fortify the floor too... it seems intense... is his human woman going to be okay?! Even I'm starting to get flustered. 30 minutes later, when the movie ended, Jey quickly played some music on his phone, and connected to the bluetooth speaker, turning it up to max volume and came over to me and Markis.

"You two wanted to talk right? Let's go outside." No matter how loud the music is I can still see the lights in the room moving around.

"Yeah please, let's get out of here." I stated, slapping my cheeks. Markis followed after us with an amused grin. As we stepped onto the back porch Markis handed his brother a map he had drawn out, detailing all the military bases and their leaders. He presented this first to show his usefulness before saying,

"I want to help... You can read my mind so you know... I worked with these people for some years and rose in the ranks at record speeds... A lot of them respect me so I'm sure that I can persuade some to our side or to at least help evacuate the citizens in the areas near the palace" Jey sighed and said,

"Your thoughts say you're honest... but they also reveal you're a filthy degenerate... I thought my thoughts were peverse but they can't hold a candle to yours." Markis's eyes widened, I expected him to be embarrassed but he smiled, unbothered and said,

"I guess you really can see everything... but how can I help it when Cera is standing right beside me?" I got goosebumps and turned my face towards the backdoor to avoid looking at either of them, "By the way... could you tell me where Cera's room is?"

"Why would he tell you that when he can clearly see what you're up to?!" I shouted turning to him and noticing he was erect. I frowned, "What's... why are you hard?" 

"... Ah..." He looked down at it and smirked "It must be because you're yelling at me." The heck?! Jey folded his arms, looking to the forest behind the house.

"I'm not in a position that I can be rejecting help... so you can come... I don't like you but... I don't hate you either... can I keep this?" Jey added, holding up the map. Markis looked up at him and nodded. "Oh thanks... his room is up the stairs, last door on the right."

"Why are you telling him that?!" Jey smiled in the mischeveous way that I've grown used to seeing on Markis,

"Because it's funny... Zai isn't here yet... there's time... and if you're busy I have an excuse to be with Aluma alone."

"You're too honest..." I muttered in astonishment.

"Well... I can't lie." He replied in return before heading into the house ahead of us.

"We..." Markis began, "Should go to your room, I can't return to the living room like this." he reasoned while lifting his shirt, I turned from him and yelled,

"It's your fault!" He bit his lip and smiled at me saying,

"You're right..." His reply made me twitch... and my chest felt warm....

"I guess... there's no harm since we're all still waiting anyway..." He stood behind me and held my waist,

"Lead the way..."
