*Read the Author's/Creator's Thoughts

Alex is currently reading a book on the balcony while waiting for the "big event" to start.

Despite the cool breeze from the sea, he does not seem bothered.

Alex yawns, feeling sleepy.

He wanted to nap, but for some reason, his body moved by itself.

He found himself afar from the chair he is sitting earlier.

He saw a man in a black cloak use his dagger to destroy the chair he was sitting in earlier.

The man vanishes on sight, but Alex knows he is already at his back.

Fortunately, his ability allows him to escape death and avoid the attack.

Without further ado, he rushes towards the man, pulling out his weapons from his inventory app.

A light sword sweeps across the man's body.

It made contact, but the wound was not deep, allowing the man to attack him again.

His ability is activated once more, and he dodges the attack.

Everything in his vision appears to slow down abruptly.

He noticed a couple of red cracks on the man's body.

Without knowing what to do, he follows his instincts and uses his light sword to trace one of the red cracks.

When his vision returned to normal, he saw the man split in half.

The word "surprised" is insufficient to describe his current feelings.

Despite his confusion, he realizes that this must be related to the description of his ability, which states that the more he dodges the attack, the more he may see his opponent's weakness.

He felt like he was now one of the overpowered protagonists he had read about in the past.

He shook his head, thinking that now is not the time to be amazed at himself.

Something might have happened to others, so he must hurry.

He rushes to the hallway and comes across the bodies of the maids and butlers.

The numbness, the fear... He felt his stomach turn upside down.

He could not keep it together any longer and vomited.

He could not stop vomiting until he calmed down.

He looks at the corpse again to see and learn what happened to the others, and when he sees that his sister and her friends are not present, he sighs with relief.

However, he noticed a significantly larger pool of blood.

He has no idea who died here, but the body appears to be missing.

He decided not to look for any unwanted clues and ran towards the exit.

'They might have already left the mansion.'

*Shing

In a flash of light, he saw a fast attack coming to him while walking down the stairs.

He couldn't move.

He can see it's coming but his body couldn't follow his brain.

His arm got cut.

He panic at first but he immediately felt weird since it doesn't feel hurt like he anticipated.

Now that he looks again, there's no blood on it and he can still feel his hand but the same arm is on the floor.

He decided not to think about this.

He put his cut arm on the top of the near cabinet and exit the mansion.

He is much worried about the girls more than himself right now.

His eyes widened.

He saw his sister is fighting but she still in a good situation compare to what he saw to others, especially to her friends being surrounded while they are in a weak state.

The man raised his hands, ready to stab Monica.

With his full force, Alex run as much as he can and fortunately, he was able to catch up and blocked the attack.

"Alex!"

He heard the shout of his sister but suddenly her expression turns pale.

"WHO DOES THAT?"

Like a Saiyan, she burst an aura out of her body.

Despite it giving a holy aura, it actually gives the opposite effect.

For some reason, he can feel that his body is getting heavy.

Looking around, he saw that the black cloak guys are also the same.

They all felt like they are carrying a heavy rock.

They immediately try to retreat but with a blink of eye, those guys become a meat paste.

The four girls falls unconscious but after he check them, he learn that they are just sleeping.

Seeing that his brother is alive, Alicia sighs in relief.

Alex immediately come to her side to help her.

Alicia accept his help and lean to his shoulder.

Although she's very concerned about his arm, she's grateful that he is alive.

No matter what is his condition, she will stay beside him.

Now that they survive, Alex decided to care about his arm.

Will this became permanent?

His arm moves the way his mind command but they are not connected to him.

For some reason, this reminds him of a certain anime about a rubber man because one of the characters has a power with similar effect.

Alex can use his ability to heal her but he decided not to because he couldn't answer if she will question him.

As they approached the unconscious girls to help them, a man appeared out of nowhere.

It is literally out of nowhere because they just blink, and he is there, near the four girls.

Alex immediately raised his guard, concerned for the safety of his sister's friends.

Alicia can still move, but another fight is not a good idea given her condition.

Regardless, they are holding their weapons and prepared to attack the moment the man lowers his guard.

*Shing

Alex realizes who the man is based solely on the speed with which he slashes.

A blonde man dressed in a white cloak.

He does not know him personally, but he recognizes him as the mysterious person who cut his arm.

The reason?

In the blink of an eye, his other arm falls down.

Alicia was about to erupt in fury when the man appeared in front of her and slashed her head.

Unlike Alex's arms, Alicia's head falls down as a spurt of blood emerges from her neck.

Alex's eyes widened as his heart palpitated and he felt a surge of rage emanating from within.

He slashed his sword using his mouth at the mysterious man without hesitation, but he missed because he disappeared.

He appeared next to the four girls, making no noise.

"No…"

Alex tried to beg for mercy, but before he could, he saw their unconscious body being sliced like a vegetable.

He did not see how the man did it, but he is aware that this man is far stronger than him.

Why does he need to go through this?

He is supposed to be an overpowered transmigrator, so why is this happening?

He has cheat ability, but he was unable to save the others.

For goodness sake, his name is Alex, not Subaru!

Despite having only met them this morning, he is the type of person who can easily become emotionally attached to someone but will always deny it.

However, he could not deny it at this point, as his tears streamed down.

He accidentally made them fall in love with him, but he could not keep them safe.

Is he still qualified to have his own harem if he cannot protect them?

The answer was obvious, but he could not accept it.

Falling to his knees, he looked up to see the man in front of him.

"Why?"

Alex says his final words as his vision darkens.
