Enlightenment State <C7>
"So level 5 isn't maxed level for skills."
Jun looked at his Skill system and saw that his Slime Bullet had reached level 6 and his Aim skill was level 4.
Thanks to his hard training, all the battle skills were improved in a few days. Of course, the training also improved his Acid Bullet rate.
He could fire 5 bullets in a second and 2 of them covered with Acid but he had to mind about his body mass after each use, lose too much would end his life.
He did think about increasing his size but he decided to have at least 200 mana before trying to have a bigger form.
That was one problem among the problems he had right now.
One problem was about how to fight an Elite if he met another again. The Elite monster had high AGI which could dodge his bullet pretty easy. Even if he had an Acid Bullet, it didn't mean he could win against one.
There was another major problem that he already thought a way to solve it but it would require a lot of luck and time.
The problem was that what if he was attacked by a large group of Giant Centipedes, he was 100% sure that he would be killed. He could maybe kill 1 or 2 normal ones when came to direct battle thanks to Acid Bullet. But if there were 10 of them or worse, a bunch of Elite, what could he do other than dying.
So his plan was to "create" more him...or in a simple way to say, trained other slimes around to do the same as him, shot Slime Bullets.
Yes, it was a dumb plan but what else could he do?! This was his only home and if the monsters came with numbers, the whole group of slimes couldn't do anything and just waited to be meals.
So he either trained himself to a level that he could defend the place himself or got a bunch of slimes like him. Both were impossible to achieve because of the short time and no luck whatsoever.
But he rather did something than waited for some miracle to happen. Right now, he already got a perfect candidate to test on.
"Bob, see this. You can eat this if you can do like me"
He showed a mana stone inside him for Bob who was starving for a long time.
When he got Bob's attention, he demonstrated the Slime Bullet skill then he waited for Bob's reaction.
Unfortunately, Bob didn't do anything and just stared at the stone.
"Sigh...here your food." He spat out the stone and Bob rushed to eat it.
This was Bob, the original Bob, and he chose it because it was easier to keep checking the slime he wanted to train. Also, Bob was the first slime he met so it came first in the list of slimes.
What he did just now was a simple way to train pets. By rewarding the pet for doing something, it would help the pet to follow his order.
However, he failed. He thought that a normal slime INT was enough (INT: 1) but he underestimated how dumb the slime was. The slime literally didn't have a brain and they only followed the rules that set by the cores inside them.
He was different, he still had his memories and his core wasn't the master but his soul was.
"What makes you so special?! Why can you create a slime but can not make it smarter?"
He checked the Magic Core, this core taken from the waterfall not too long ago.
This was his second part of his "impossible to achieve" plan, how did the Core create a slime and could he use the Core to help him?!
Up until now, he didn't get any useful result and he wasted a lot of time on it. He did observe the creation of a slime but it took at least 6 hours. The process was the exact same as the description but it didn't mention the time, maybe it was different between slimes.
"Cmon, give me something...Anything?" He kept looking at the core but it seemed like there was nothing left for him to discover.
"Damn, what a waste of time." He picked the Core with his body and ready to spit it back to the waterfall.
Magic Core?! What so magic about it? It couldn't even create a good monster, just a slimy thing that moved around, a mindless being.
"...Magic!!?..." Suddenly he realized something, what created him?! It was magic and what is magic?! It was Mana and he had Mana.
And with Mana, he could see much farther, he could create Acid, and he could become bigger. Science couldn't explain it yet but why would it need to explain? He could just use Mana inside, he could try to use his mana outside his body.
"Focus now. I have it so I can use it." He concentrated to control the mana and tried to direct it to the surrounding.
Slowly he felt Mana was drained out of his body and it spread, affected everything near him.
Some rock pebbles gently started floating up around him while the Magic Core, which had felt out of him, was getting brighter and madly absorbed the mana.
But he didn't care what was happening around, he was in a deep state which would even shock the gods.
A slime with an INT of 12 was in Enlightenment State, a state that even a being with INT 1000 couldn't achieve.
In this state, he was learning basic knowledge about mana with an unbelieve speed which could take up to 5 years to learn normally.
But damn, entered this state just to learn the basic. If any gods or supreme beings knew about this then they would die in shame, lose to a slime with INT 12.
After a while, the mana around stopped and the core went back to normal. As for Jun, he looked like he had figured out something.
He reached out the core with his "hand" then picked it up.
A hand?! He grew a 3 fingers hand out of his body by controlling mana inside and used it as a real hand.
This was the result of the Enlightenment state but he didn't know about it and felt like the knowledge was already in him.
Should he complained or looked into it?! Maybe, but right now he was enjoying himself.
