Two morons

"No. five, mine!" Akagi said.

"No. nine, here!" Sakuragi said.

"No. six, done!" Mitsui said.

"No. four, ok!" Miyagi said.

"No. ten, another moron!" Rukawa said.

"Shohoku is using one on one defense... it's always been the same since the competition started." Reporter Nakamura said.

"Yes, it's one on one probably that suits Shohoku the best.

The point guard position battle is sort of worrisome though... Miyagi and Maki's height's difference is quite big!" Yayoi Aida said.

"Takasago!" Maki easily pass the ball to their center.

Takasago is against Akagi, pounding his way to the basket while Akagi hold his ground and they stopped in the lower box.

Takasago is having hard time on Akagi's defense and he settle for a mid range jumper.

"Baam!!" Akagi used one of his signature moves, 'Fly Swatter' to block Takasago's shot.

"Yeah!!!" Akagi shouted.

"Nice block, Akagi! Kogure said.

"Gori!!" Sakuragi said.

"Captain!!" Miyagi said.

"Gorilla block!!!" Sakuragi's gang said.

"Let's go! Fast break!!" Akagi shouted, Miyagi got the ball and lead the rest to the back court.

"Ahhh! How come we have not scored yet?" a Kainan fan just arrived in the arena and saw the zero against four of Shohoku.

"Akagi's block is really scary!" a fellow Kainan said beside him.

"My goodness! Shohoku's attacking aggressively than before!" reporter Nakamura said.

"It's this kind of attack they also used in last game!!" Kazuchi Hasegawa of Shoyo said.

"This kind of fast attack always gives Shohoku the upperhand and their defense is also tight." Kenji Fujima said, the coach and also captain of the Shoyo team.

"It's Shohoku's best type of offense and suits the team like them: the run and gun is a fast, freewheeling style of play that features a high number of field goal attempts, resulting in high-scoring games!!" Yayoi Aida said.

"Offense!!" Haruko and Sakuragi gang were shouting.

Miyagi directed the traffic at the top w/ three other players and saw Mitsui arrived at the left wing 45 degrees.

"Mitsui!! Another three ball?" Coach Riki Takato said.

"Ahh! They're already defending Mitsui!!" Ayako said.

"Naïve people!!" said.

Kainan's Jin jumped after Mitsui is in shooting action, using this hesitation move to trick the defender and he dribbles twice to the left corner for a wide open three.

But Maki chase him in the left corner, he quickly raised his arms to shoot but Maki stick w/ him.

Rukawa was cutting to the basket; he was followed by Sakuragi and Akagi. He passes the ball under the arms of Maki.

"Boom!!!" Rukawa glides to the basket, after he received the pass from Mitsui and slam the ball hard since Maki also tried to block him earlier.

"Good job, Mitsui!" Kogure and the bench players were excited to lead the defending champion to six to zero early in the game.

"He doesn't only know how to shoot threes but also has passing ability is really good!" Miyagi said.

"Six : zero! Is this the level of defense of the defending champs, Maki?" Mitsui said, while showing an okay sign or six points like goggles to him.

"Tsk!" Maki thrown the ball to Jin and Kainan is on attack mode.

"It's two on two fast break!" Ayako said.

"You can't stop us, Rukawa!!" Kiyota and Jin is against Sakuragi and Rukawa in this play.

"Take Kiyota, Sakuragi!" Rukawa said.

"I know that wild monkey! Don't try ordering me around, Rukawa!!" he replied.

"Rukawa! Watch out for Jin's three pointers and he can shoot anytime!!" Kogure shouted to remind him of Jin's ability to score all around.

Jin was above the arc, while Kiyota cut straight to basket and a no look bounce pass to Kiyota.

"Nice pass!!" Kiyota said.

"Wild monkey, you too naïve in front of this genius, Sakuragi!" he said, as they collided in the air.

"Try stopping me, red haired monkey!!" Kiyota said.

"Watch me! This is Gori's 'Fly Swatter!!" Sakuragi said.

"Ah?!" Shohoku reaction to Kiyota vs. Sakuragi match-up.

"What the heck...?" Sakuragi said.

"I'm the best rookie, Rukawa!!" Kiyota kept on taunting the two while going back to defense.

"Two morons in the building!" Rukawa said.

"Shohoku 6 vs. 2 Kainan, the defending champion is trailing by four points in the first half w/ seventeen minutes to play!!" the game announcer said.

There was a new notification, "Ding!! Game task: win the game against the defending champion(0/1). Mission reward: 5,000 gold coins." the system said.
