This year's final four competitions, in the first game between Shohoku and Kainan was not a blown game that most thought of but a tight game from the tip off.

Shohoku high has shown a surprising game against the defending champs w/ Akagi's emphatic gorilla dunk, Mitsui's three pointers reply to Kainan's Jin and etc.

The point difference in scores hasn't been more than six points. Right now, there's still ten minutes left in the first half of the ball game.

"Shohoku 26 vs. 20 Kainan" game announcer said.

"I'm the king of rebounds!!" he said.

"Ah! This red haired is good at rebound!" Kainan's Takasago and Akagi were robbed by this rebounding idiot several times.

"Good job, Sakuragi!!" Mitsui said.

"He got all rebounds!!" Kiyota said.

"Great! Hurry up and pass the ball to Miyagi or Mitsui! Let them set up the attack!!" Akagi said.

"Yeah!!" Sakuragi give the ball to Miyagi who's standing at the perimeter.

"Great offensive rebound there, Sakuragi!" Ayako said.

"That was a nice work under the hoop, " Sakuragi!" Kogure said.

"Nice pass! Ok! Let's take this one slowly! One ball at a time, guys!" Miyagi observed the defense, directing the flow of offense and choose the right attack mode from fast to slow pace.

"Anzai-sensei! It seems like Sakuragi's rebounds already an incredible skill! Even against Kainan, it's an important part of his game!" Kogure said.

"His basic skills were really great leap from three months ago! The everyday practice paid off, while his rebounding skills plus great hops and stamina that few players are rough gems worth it polishing!" Ayako said.

"Ho ho ho... That's right, Kogure-kun and Ayako-chan!" Coach Anzai said.

Sakuragi got the ball again after he pick and roll w/ Miyagi. His defender became Maki and his dribble easily got targeted and Sakuragi lost the ball.

"Wait! Damn it! Ahhh!!" Sakuragi chased the ball, he dived for the saved and thrown it someone wearing Shohoku uniform.

"He just dived for the ball! Sakuragi really fearless! Idiot, he's gonna hit the..." Sakuragi's friends cover their face for moment and saw him like nothing happened.

"Watch out, Anzai-sensei!!" Kogure and the bench players retreated by instinct seeing Sakuragi rushing.

"Sakuragi-kun!!" Haruko said.

"Eh! Are they ok?!" Kainan bench players can't help felt worried to Shohoku's bench area.

"Ahh! Let's go!!" Sakuragi acted like nothing happened and returned back to the court.

"Ehh...! He's still fired up after that?!" Miyagi got the ball and waited for him to get back.

"He's not hurt at all! Sakuragi is a man of steel as usual!!" Sakuragi friends knew from the start and it was normal for them.

"He actually used his chubby coach to soften his landing... Scary guy... I'll be sitting back to bench if it was me!" Kiyota said.

"Anzai-sensei!! Are you ok?" Kogure and other bench players help him back to his sit and the coach was luckily fine.

"Ho ho ho... I'm fine. Kogure-kun!" Coach Anzai replied.

"Fast runner! By comparing pure atlethic ability, he's even on par w/ our Maki...!" Coach Riki Takato evaluated Sakuragi from that single play.

"Witness the majesty of the rebound king!!" Sakuragi got another rebound off Miyagi miss jumper.

"He got another one!! Sakuragi-kun!" Haruko said.

"Nice rebound, Sakuragi!!" Ayako said.

"How interesting... I'll take the no. ten!!" Maki started marking Sakuragi after he got the rebound.

"Maki-senpai!!" Kiyota should guarding Sakuragi from the start.

"Ah...! he finally got Kanagawa's no. one player!" Fujima said.

"Hey! What grade are you? Are you still a high school student?" Sakuragi asked.

"Huh!?" Maki said.

"Hey, wild monkey! You got who already looked graduated to play for you? That's unfair for us!!" Sakuragi said.

"Idiot!! Maki-senpai is only a third year and he's 17 years old!!" Kiyota replied

"What he's only 17?! Wait...Who're you trying to fool here?!" Sakuragi said.

"Fweeert!! Warning! Both sides! No talking during the game!! especially you Shohoku no. ten!" the ref said.

"That idiot will never change..." Rukawa said and walk away from them.

"Hohoho! What a headache..." both coaches said.

"He actually said that to Maki... it's really Sakuragi!" a Shoyo player said.

"That stupid rookie... He's asking for trouble!" Miuradai's captain said.

"Akagi looks older than me!!" Maki said loudly.

"Hahaha!" Sakuragi's friends are savage as always.

"Ahh!?" Everyone reaction to Maki's words after he drop the bomb.

"Now that you say..." Mitsui said and whispered a reply to Akagi.

"Don't look over him, guys!!�� Kogure said.

"Is he upset...?" Jin said.

"Aheem! Uozumi looks much older than me!!" Akagi said.

"Achooo!! Who's talking behind me?!" Uozomi said.

"Fweeert!! Play ball!!"Even the refs have enough w/ this thing.

Mitsui got ball after he caught his defender watching Maki and slip to the right corner.

"Pass here, Sakuragi!!" Mitsui got a vacancy; he can't miss this chance and shoot a wide open three ball.

"Swish!!" it went through the net.
