Dungeon Battle

Harvey would be sweating right now if he could. This monstrous threat was on his way to him and he could not put up any defense!

"Ughhh... it seems I will have to use my trump card I was saving for the enemy dungeon." Harvey sighed as he summoned his dungeon's guardian defender.

Each dungeon had their own guardian defender, they were quite costly to summon.

Harvey's guardian was a blue core that used soil and sand as its body. Similar to a golem.

A large body formed around the core as it stood in front of Harvey, ready to defend him no matter what.

Steps could be heard as the man walked closer and closer..

"Dungeon defender.. Interesting one too.. well, I guess it's my bad luck." The man confidently said with a smile.

The man was at a slight disadvantage here.. The electricity that he used primarily wouldn't affect this dungeon defender.

"No matter. I should still win quite easily. After that, I'll capture you, dungeon core." The man spoke directing at the large crystal behind the golem.

The man and the golem were situated in a large opening within the mine. It had been dug out by Harvey's moles to increase the room. It made it an area that would be perfect for fighting.

The man eyeballed the golem, the golem increased its mass around its arms and ran at him!

The man grabbed a second dagger out of his bag that looked identical to his other one. He went into a position akin to an assassins.. he then ran behind the golem at high speed!

Before the golem could react the man sliced at the center of the golem in an attempt to destroy the golem's crystal but failed.

The spot on the golem he stabbed morphed the sand and soil back as if there was never an attack against it.

The golem had points on its body that it quickly morphed outward, these points then shot towards the man with precision!

The man used his blades and hit one of the spikes to knock himself backwards. He did a backflip to cover distance without turning and jumped to the side while still looking at his opponent.

The golem's spikes missed their target and all entered deep into the ground causing the area to sink into a hole.

The golem looked at the man like a hungry tiger. The man looked back without fear.

"So you've got skill.. I've got more." The man then had a red light envelop his body. His hair changed from black to red it slightly spiked up, his eyes similar shifted to red.

The clothes he was wearing were replaced with a black cloak with red outlines on it, his black daggers turned scarlet.

"Time to get serious!" A helmet appeared onto the man's head as he said this. This was the man's true identity..

He was known as the Scarlet Assassin and was originally a slave. He killed his captors and frequented the wanted list, like this he built a name for himself. This was all apart of his goal to find out who his father was, and to kill him.

His father was a powerful man but due to being pushed into slavery at a young age, he didn't have many memories of the man. But he knew, he needed to become more powerful to accomplish his goals, this was the real reason he had come to this dungeon.

The golem did a slight transformation as well. It put its hand into a t pose and stone from the mine began to shoot towards it!

The stone formed gloves around the golem's hands and arms and reinforced the entire top of the golem. It also reinforced its feet so it wouldn't easily be tripped or have its footing be destroyed.

As it was still in the middle of gathering materials the scarlet assassin didn't allow it to just freely transform as he had the opportunity to do so.

He grabbed another item out of his bag that was a black crossbow with a red wire and shot an arrow at the golem.

He ran as he shot more arrows into the small openings the golem had in an attempt to reach its core.

The arrows were stopped at the surface and the golem made a strange loud noise after it finally finished its transformation.

The golem shot out spikes that homed in on the assassin, these spikes were much more powerful than the last barrage.

"You think I really came to this dungeon alone? I'm not an idiot.." The scarlet assassin said as the barrage approached him.

Out of the entrance came a man in robes. He summoned small yellow barriers that blocked all of the spikes right before they could touch the assassin.

"I suppose it's time for this old man to assist you youngster.." The man said as he stroked his long white beard.

Harvey cursed in his head. F*CK THAT'S the LEGENDARY MAGE GERALD THE WISE! I'M SCREWED!

Gerald hit his staff on the ground and a sinkhole appeared under the golem. The man then waved his staff and summoned a stack of bricks above the hole that dropped onto the golem.

He then activated a magic that caused the bricks to explode, killing the golem easily.

The scarlet assassin looked at Gerald with respect in his eyes. "He truly is a legendary mage afterall.." he thought.

The two got to know eachother after the scarlet assassin picked up one of the Mage's requests.. this was the moon kingdom afterall. It was the law of the jungle.

The duo approached the mana core with grins. The scarlet assassin reached into his bag once more. He put away his daggers and took out the capture ball.

The mage looked at the man with the side of his eye and then began to laugh.

"What's so funny Gerald? Its unlike you to laugh in this way.." The scarlet assassin questioned.

Gerald wiped away his tears. "You really thought I would just help you because you accepted my request. That's hilarious. Now that the dungeon core is in front of me and you conveniently have this mythical item that captures anything, of course I'm not going to let this chance escape my hands."

"F*ck you old man!" The assassin attempted to put away the ball but soon became dizzy and fell onto the ground.

"What?!" The assassin screamed.

"Sleep magic. Nothing crazy. Well, it will be after you find out where you wake up at. Thanks for the core, idiot." Gerald said as the assassin passed out. He struggled to stay awake but could only be awake long enough for Gerald to take the ball.

Gerald approached the dungeon core and then threw the ball at the core.

The ball then fell to the ground.

"What?! But this has worked on every monster I've encountered! You mean to tell me this core doesn't qualify?" The man stomped towards the ball and spit on it.

"F*CK YOU!" The man stomped onto the ball and.. a bright light shown outward..

A few seconds later.. a clicking noise was made.

Gerald was successfully caught.

"What a turn of events.." Jake was astonished. This motivated him to create more skills and jobs!

"This job I will now create will be in remembrance of this great battle." Jake bowed toward the lone ball on the ground, the crystal, and the unconscious assassin.

"Create Job: Mage-Assassin." Jake said aloud.

"Creating job, Mage-Assassin." The system replied and then began to read Jake's thoughts.

The mage assassin he was creating was similar to the playstyle of Leblanc from league of legends. The person would teleport forward and send out attacks then teleport back and refresh their skills.

He didn't limit this skill in any way to be able to be up there with the other jobs.

He allowed the job to be able to cast buffs, deal damage, teleport, and heal. That way the user could teleport deep into a fight and quickly heal the fighter and deal damage then dissapear right after.

This would normally be kind of overpowered, but it did less effects than the normal damage, healing, buffs, and teleport. There was also going to be quite a high cast time, but this could be reduced based on the skill level.

Jake smiled as he gained more points to create more items.

"System, I would like to experience being a human again for a while, is that okay?" Jake asked.

"Perfectly fine host! Just think of your appearance, race, job, area of entrance, and we will create your custom avatar! Now that you've passed the tutorial you will also be able to use some of your skills as an avatar!" The system responded slowly so he could understand it all.

"Amazing!" Jake smiled. Dying in that league match was the best thing that had happened to him. This was his dream job afterall, not only would he be able to customize it all, but he'd be able to play the "game" too!

Jake then disappeared from his dimension..
