Sky's heart raced as she heard Siren's threat. Panic set in, but she tried to remain calm.
"Leave while you can Sky," she said again as a warning, and Siren continued walking away.
"Why are you here?" Sky asked, trying to buy herself some time and find out what she wanted.
"That's none of your concern," Siren replied cooly. "Now, don't interrupt me or you'll regret it," she responded still walking away.
Sky knew she couldn't just let Siren through. Something about the way she carried herself, the darkness in her eyes, made her suspect that her intentions were not pure to top it off she showed up just when everything was in chaos so she suspected her arrival had something to do with the events at the organization. Slowly, she raised her gun, pointing it at Siren. "I don't know why I'm doing this, but I know you won't hurt me," she said.
Turning around Siren raised an eyebrow, unimpressed by the gun pointed to her face. Suddenly, without warning, she grabbed her gun and shot Sky in the legs. Sky screamed in pain, falling to the ground.
"Are you satisfied now?" Siren asked. Or would you like another one attached to your head?
Sky struggled to breathe as pain shot through her body. "No... please, no," she managed to say weakly.
Siren turned to walk away, but Sky was not ready to give up yet. With all she had left in her, she fired her gun at Siren's arm. Siren cursed, clearly angry, and rained bullets at Sky until she lay still.
As I made my way to the main office, I arrived at the door and kicked it open. Eagle attempted to pick up his gun but I was faster, I shot his hands and he screamed in agony.
Siren!
Eagle!
"So this was all you?" he asked, scared.
"Surprised?" Siren said, her voice dripping with mockery. "You never predicted one woman to bring you down, did you? You never expected one woman to bring down your organization!"
"Why are you doing this? Did I do something to deserve this?" he yelled, his voice laced with anger and confusion. I get that the organization killed your parents but you killed innocent people Siren!
I scoffed. "My parents were also innocent, don't you think I deserved a normal life?" she asked bitterly.
"I gave you that already!" Eagle retorted.
"How?!" Siren exclaimed. "By erasing my memories?! What if I had died?! What if I could have ended up dead? Tell me, Hawk!"
"I'm sorry!" Eagle gritted his teeth, desperation was evident in his tone.
"You're sorry?" Siren's voice dripped with venom. "Well, don't be, because I'll never forgive you."
"Siren..." he started.
"Don't you dare call my name, Eagle!" Siren snapped. "I might just lose it and kill you too, and trust me if I lift my gun, there's no way it's going down without bloodshed!"
"What do you want?" Eagle asked, exasperated.
"I don't need anything from you, Eagle," Siren seethed. "I can get anything I want, you should know that by now."
"On the contrary, I have what you might need,". I said slowly, mischief dancing in my eyes.
"What are you talking about?" He asked, confusion furrowing his brow.
"Your long lost sister," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
He froze. His heart was racing. His eyes filled with unshed tears. "I don't understand," he whispered shakily.
I took a step closer to him and added with a teasing smile. "I've been searching for her, Eagle. And I found her. She's alive."
Eagle's heart rate skyrocketed. He felt like the ground was slipping out from under him. "Where... where is she?" he stuttered.
Aren't you wondering why she's still alive? Or are you that dumb??
Siren!
What?! Aren't you smart enough to know the difference between foul play and betrayal??
Are you that blind?? Because you didn't even know that the same organization you were working for killed your own parents and separated you from your sister??
That's a lie! He retorted.
I don't care if you believe me or not! I cut him off, you have two options. And this is because I actually value the fact that you were once my teacher. Submit to me and take this opportunity to reunite with your long-lost sister, or die tonight and lose her forever!! The clock is ticking. She said raising up her gun and pointing it to his head.
Siren! He screams gritting his teeth.
I don't have all day. She responded adjusting her gun.
What if you're just lying to me?
I'll count to three, 1...
Just answer me!
Eagle's Pov
Looking at this lady here, she's changed completely it's like with the slightest mistake I make she'll take my life. What do I stand to lose if she's telling the truth? I'd better give in before she pulls the trigger. I wonder what Logan gave to her for her to turn into a monster like this.
Two...
Fine! I submit! I'm under your control.
Good! All her men came in unharmed.
Boss everyone is down! We did as you ordered.
Good job. Give him the file and show him out.
Yes, boss! One of them responded and handed a Blue file to Eagle.
Use that information to get to your sister, stand up and leave I'll call you when I need you! She said flatly.
How do I carry it?
How's that my business? Help yourself out, she responded with no ounce of pity.
Fuck!! He cursed.
What did you just say? She asked irritated.
Nothing. He said and she gritted her teeth. Then ordered her men to help him out.
You should get out of here! He walked out of the office accompanied by Siren's men, he saw his men lying down lifeless. It still felt like a dream to him. Siren did all of this.
Back inside the office.
Boss, you're bleeding! One of the men pointed out.
I know! She responded flatly without sparing a glance at him.
But...
Just shut up!! She scolded as her phone started ringing.
Hello...
Nalani... Logan just woke up! Liam informed her.
What? She uttered in a low and hushed tone, the shock was evident as a tear rolled down her cheek.
Yes, he's up the doctor is checking his vital signs.
I'll be there soon...
