CHAPTER 4- COMRADE

CRISIONTEL

I walked down the glen and the the sun is covered by the commulonimbus clouds and the air is so refreshing. I past on the dandelion field and there so beautiful. After an hour walked. I reached the town of escavan. The falls is not that far from here. Where Rivers meet the sea.

I went to the dockyard watching men hauling their barrel and food supplies. I played my flute and put on my mask on and crossed my legs while resting my hand on my chin. They're so busy they must have a long voyage.

They happens to be my enemy. Because I hate pirates. Pero hindi sa pagmamayabang. That terrible cold night. I was on a voyage and saw blazing of fire in the middle of the sea. I climbed up to the crows nest and even heard a deafening  screaming of help from men. I don't know whats got into me to help them. I didn't hesitated and swung on the rope and landed there and rolled on the deck mask and went to him and steer the wheel.

I also assisted his fellow mate at duguan ang kanilang captain dahil sa pagsalakay ng ibang pirata.

I gave them my ship and I asked them to take care of it. And they did. I made a comrade. It's an unexpected friendship. In an unexpected meet. And now we help each other hand in hand. Kilala nila ako bilang sinner and trust him. The captain is like a brother to me now.

"Boss!" One of the crew on the ratlines noticed me and shouted; waving his hand and climb down. And the other men stop and leaned on me and bowed. I hussed them so no one would notice. I went on the ship. And watching all of the part of my ship and its still the same. they kept their words.

"Boss long time no see!" We shake our hands and pat each shoulders. They are happy to see me. Its been a long time.

"Busy alams na. Where's the captain?"

"In the cabin boss. Kung hindi pa kayo kumain may niluto na po akong pagkain sa kusina mainit pa iyon boss and treat yourself with our finest wine"

"Thank you for your concern mate but maybe next time"

I skipped down the stairs and went to the captain's cabin and open the door with a few chuckles of insult.

I saw him flinched but he just acted like nothing. It looks like he knows that I'm already on board. And he wasn't even surprise to see me. He did really senses my aura's. He prepared some wine and I sat on his chair and look at the treasure maps and even the books of legends are written in every poems and riddles.

"Why took a long time to visit me friend?" Said he without even looking at me. His attention is on the papers he had on his desk. Seems important

"Alam mo naman Captain na I have a gold to attend to" i heard his slight chuckles and stand and i sat down on his chair and watch his work. He reach my wine and some crackers on a bowl. I bit one and sat down on his desk. I used the pencil compass and they should change course. Its hightide and theres a possible typhoon coming. "Where were ye heading captain?"

"The western island of westeria. Island near to our neightbooring kingdom. Etheria. Its our very first time to go on that place. Some news told us theres a gold mine on that place and we need to pack our bags bago may makauna samin"

I sighed heavily and shook my head after reading what's been written in the poems. There's a lot of obvious words to tell that theres danger on the way. The sea is not a place to mess with "Really. Have you read some of the article? Every parangraph has a small detailed on that island"

"Uhm well. I have but not all. I just stole that map yesterday. Negligence living the map on the table. I have arrived on that ship and guess what they're drunk but me didnt touch anything i needed that map"

"Ye haven't change at all are ye captain."

"Ye shouldn't passed the red sea captain. Its too risky. Theres a storm coming; its hightide and the depths, you won't make it to the shore. And its temperature could seriously harm your mate and even ye" i stand and went to his bookshelves and theres a lot of scroll under it.

"Aww I didn't know sinners have a heart"

"Why do you think I'm alive ah!"

His grinning and his teasing me "Aww yeh care for me"

"Stop it will yeh" I slide my finger to the book and found the history and even open the legendary book and have some research files "Its says here. As the crimson water began. Its distraction appears grisly. Ships will be attack, dilapidated and sink ships to the bottom of the sea. Taken furiously We're soul never to be seen"

"I haven't read that one" lumapit siya sakin at tiningnan ang bawat detalyeng nakalagay.

"Alam mo naman captain na hindi ako naniniwala sa legends at myth but I have strong feeling that you must change course before storm ends. Send your ships to the near lagoon as a shortcut but be very careful theres a sharp rocks and maybe some cuttlethroat on that place. Don't die on me captain. I won't forgive you"

"I won't me friend"

"Looks like maiiwan na naman ako dito"

"I won't be long. Miss ye already"

"Gross" i mocked him but he finds it funny

I went to the crows nest watching the beautiful scenery of the golden sunset. I stayed up until it gets dark. Di rin ako nagtagal at yumagayway ako ng papaalis na sila at may narinig ako tunog na bakal na papalapit at tinago ko agad ang aking maskara. Sakto namang lumabas ang mga kawal at dumaan sa likuran ko.

"Hey kid this place is a restricted area. Only for voyagers. Be gone!"

"Sorry po" Kumaripas na ako ng takbo

A smile shows up on my face as I passed them and saw alot of merchants on the street. I buy some fresh cooked meat and ate while walking and someone grab me on my collar and push me to the walls and I hit my face. I spit my food when I taste my blood on my lips.

"Whatta beautiful child" nagtawanan lang sila habang kumakain lang ako at binitbit nila ako sa makitid na lugar at may mga lumang bahay at gusali at kaunti lang ang tao. They drag me down and my food is all in my stomach.

"Why do you bring me here?" I faken my voice, trembling

"Well kid. Its been a yesterday. Kailangan kong magpainit ngayon. Saktong berhen kapa"

I grin as he tries to satisfied his own. I began to whined helplessly and made them believe that I was scared to death and I rush away and they caught me and choked me up. Pushing me agressively to the floor. I punch him but the two men hold my arms and he tore up my clothes. Nakita ko uhaw niyang tingin sa king katawan. Nakita ko ang mabilis na paghubad niya ng kanyang sentoron at nakita ko ang isang bagay na hindi ko pa nakikita noon.

Gumapang siya bigla pero inipit ko ang leeg niya ng aking binti at nang nagpumiglas siya. Ginamit ko ang lakas ko para ibalibag siya at bumagsak ang likuran niya sa sahig at nang umatake ang dalawa I slide down my foot and I rose quick and punch them.

May biglang yumakap sakin sa likuran at sinuko ko siya at narinig ko ang tunog ng isang espada at yumuko ako para bumagsak siya sa harap ko at napigilan ko ang espada na dumaan malapit saking leeg at hinawakan ko ang kamay niya at sinuko siko siya at inupper cut siya.

Sinilip ko lang ang dibdib ko at maayos na sinara. Nakatihaya ang dalawa at nakataob yung isa. Lumapit ako sa lalake na balak akong gahasain. I heard him groan and kick him hard and made them regret it. As I was about to go out and suddenly heard a goat.

Agad akong lumingon at nakita ko ang pulang usok na lumabas sa kanilang katawan at natulala ako ng umangat ang katawan nila sa ere at nakita ko ang sabay sabay na pag bukas ng kanilang pulang mata.

Bilis kong inabot ang aking kutsilyo at hinabol nila ako. I flip backward on the walls and counter attack them. Their blood shattered everywhere and some spurt on my face and i wipe them.

And the red odor smells like a poison gas. I backed away from it; covering my nose and mouth with my shirt. Hinanap ko agad ang isa at makulimlim ang paligid. I search everywhere and a liquid drop on top of my head. Tumingin ako sa taas at lumukso siya sa baba at mabilis kong inangat ang espada at bumagsak siya sakin at tumagos sa tiyan niya ang espada. I push him away and stand.

Bigla namang bumukas ang pinto at napapikit ako ng may nagflashlight sakin at nang inalis nila nakita ko ang tatlong gago sabay pa ni shantal na sumilip sa likuran nila.

"Y--you did this?"

"I'm sorry guys i'm actually a crim--"

"We have belittle you strength kid"

Medyo nasagip naman ako ng inunahan ako ni jaiko magsalita at di ko nacontinue ang salitang criminal. Ano kaba crisiontel mapapahamak ka talaga. Mag isip ka nga minsan "Chamba kolang yun actually ayaw ko pang mamatay--"

"Shit!" I cursed and kick him down. His grip is too tight.

"Recedunt peccatores. virtutes spiritu humano benedicant" May binigkas bigla si jedalion at sumigaw yung pulang usok at naglaho. Kumunot noo lang ako dahil ang ginamit nilang lenguahe ay latin.

"You guys cleanse criminal?"

"Huh no, not criminals but bad spirit. Who controls the bodies who its possessed"

"How did you kill them for just a minute" tanong ni kuya jaiko

"Minute?"

"We have patrol the place. Search for this sins pero natakasan kami but you have already done the job for us how can we repayed you. This people are one of the summon pathogen whose about to spread the lust sin to other host"

I smiled after hearing that "Well then saan ang bayad nyo. I have captured your sins" singil ko sa kanila na kinasimangot nila ulit at niluksuhan ako ni shantal para magpalambing sakin. "Sabi ko na miss moko"
